A WOMAN has shared how her mum transformed the bland front of her house using some pretty stencils on the tiles.
However, it was the petty act with the neighbours which has really turned heads.

A clip shared to TikTok showed how she had added the stencils to the front steps of her home, and also to the passageway leading to her neighbours' houses either side.
She had abruptly stopped when she reached one of the neighbour's boundaries due to a dispute.
The woman explained on her @__bambamx account: 'When you help your mum paint her slabs, and she has two neighbours - but she doesn't like one.
'Neighbours at war - Don't get any blatant than that.'
While one side had the full tile effect, the other was left completely bare.
People were amused by the act, with the video racking up over 2,400 likes.
Many were also impressed with the DIY hack and asked how it was achieved.
One user explained: 'Cream masonry paint full slab then brown for stencil, then top coat of slab sealant.'
She's not the only person to have transformed their outdoor space using a stencil with amazing results.
We previously shared how one savvy homeowner managed to transform her dull patio on a budget - all by herself.
I transformed my grubby garden patio for less than £50 - it was so easy to do, all you need is some paint & a stencil

She used nothing but a stencil and a lick of paint.
The DIY whizz named Maddy Mcgrail took to Facebook group Gardening On A Budget Official and posted a before snap of her patio, which was plain and in desperate need of some TLC.
Speaking to Fabulous, she then explained how she simply purchased two stencils from Dizzy Duck, which cost her around £40, and some paint which she had leftover.
To achieve the finished look, she painted the patio black and, once dry, she then stuck the affordable stencil on one pavement slab at a time.
Next, she slowly brushed the white paint over it and after painting over all the gaps, she carefully removed the stencil.

She was then left with a stunning geometric print which gives her outdoor haven a total new lease of life.
Proudly posting a photo of her efforts online, she penned: "Well I think the hard work as paid off!"
And it seems she isn't the only one to think so, with super impressed social media users quick to flock to the comments section to praise her very handy DIY skills.
'Well done!! Looks amazing," enthused one person.

Bloodstock Open Air is set to take place at Catton Hall, with metal fans across Europe set to congregate at the estate once again. Here's our guide to this year's festival - from how to get there to banned items and early weather forecasts for the weekend ahead. The grounds of Catton Hall are calling out to metal fans across Europe this weekend, as the annual Bloodstock Open Air takes place from August 8 to August 11. Headlined this year by Machine Head, Trivium, and Gojira, the 'other metal festival' that takes place in Derbyshire also has several '00s acts that, perhaps, metal fans who have had their formative education of the genre through TikTok might gravitate towards – but that might be the old, dusty metalhead in me gutted I am missing Fear Factory, Static-X, and Nailbomb. Maybe next year, right? Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad With your itinerary of performances having been locked down for another year, it's time to move on to some admin ahead of the festival; namely, how are you going to get there, what time should you arrive at Catton Hall and, above all else, how much alcohol can you bring with you to the festival this year? Tourist on holiday in Spanish resort finds empty sunbeds for unexpected reason

A Married at First Sight UK star went on holiday in Palma, Majorca and shared that there were plenty of empty sunbeds at the resort he stayed at for a surprising reason Many Brits like to go away on European beach holidays at this time of year seeking sun and hot weather that we don't get a lot of in the UK in summer. It's not unusual for it to rain and be a bit cold in Britain during this season and there might even be strong winds and storms, like Storm Floris that hit the UK on Monday, August 4. ‌ This dreary weather is what prompts Brits to get on a plane and take a flight to holiday destinations in Europe, including Spain, Greece and Italy. Plenty of tourists dream of laying on a sunbed around a pool with the sun beaming down on them and there have been multiple reports of 'sunbed wars' in resorts. ‌ However, when Kieran Chapman, known for starring on Married at First Sight in 2024, stayed at a resort in Palma, Majorca he didn't have to wait for a free sunbed at all. ‌ He shared a clip on TikTok showing that they were all empty due to the unexpected heavy rain. Despite this, the TV star still lounged on a sunbed and seemed to enjoy the very wet weather as he laid down in a relaxed position with his eyes closed. Palma is the capital city of Majorca, Spain and the largest of the Balearic Islands. It is popular for its beaches, nightlife and climate as it is often sunny and warm in the summer months with little rain so it appears that Kieran got unlucky with the weather. The TikTok video shows that the celebrity, from Newcastle, didn't mind getting soaked by the pouring rainfall. No other guests at the resort can be seen in the clip so Kieran, who is a mechanic, got to enjoy some peace and quiet without letting the British style weather ruin his time. ‌ The post has no audio apart from the viral Jet2holidays voiceover meme that has been added to many funny travel videos on TikTok. Kieran's clip has garnered 362,800 views, 16,200 likes and more than 200 comments, at the time of writing. Viewers found humour in the video as one said: 'The rays still get to you through the clouds.' ‌ Another added: 'When you're used to English weather.' While a third chimed in: 'That's probably more relaxing than lying in the hot sun.' Someone else commented: 'No towels on the sun beds, get innnn.' A fifth had a similar thought as they remarked: 'At least there's no queues for the chairs.' Others left comments, such as 'this made me laugh', 'making the most of it' and 'I'm actually howling.' The Newcastle mechanic isn't the first holidaymaker to experience this as others have been met with rain in hotspots that are usually sunny and shared similar clips on social media.
