National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Sunday held a telephone conversation with Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and representative of the Supreme Leader, to discuss strategic cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement posted by the official account of the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi on X, the call focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing key infrastructure projects.
During the conversation, Doval praised Tejran's role in the region and stressed New Delhi's interest in further expanding bilateral cooperation, especially in the development of Chabahar Port, located in southeastern Iran, and the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).

'During the call, Mr. Doval emphasized Iran's constructive role in the region and expressed India's interest in expanding bilateral cooperation—particularly in the development of Chabahar Port and the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). He also thanked Iran for its continued assistance and support," the embassy shared.
'He stressed the need to swiftly implement strategic projects and reiterated that bilateral cooperation serves the broader interests of regional peace and stability," the Iranian Embassy added.

Speaking to Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, Director of IIM Raipur, said, 'The value of an MBA, especially from a premier institution, is far from diminishing. Over the next 20–30 years, demand for MBAs will continue to rise, particularly as regions like Europe and Japan face managerial talent shortages." What is your vision for IIM Raipur over the next five years? Over the next five years, IIM Raipur envisions becoming a global hub of management education and research by investing ₹250 crore to enhance its academic, residential, and IT infrastructure to accommodate 1,200 students. The institute has introduced new courses in emerging areas such as blockchain, generative AI, design thinking, and data science, aligning with the technological transformations in the global economy. Through experiential learning approaches, including real-world projects, case studies, and interactive teaching methods, IIM Raipur fosters critical thinking and application-based learning. Following the successful launch of the fully-funded MBA in Public Policy and Governance under the Chief Minister's Good Governance Fellowship, IIM Raipur is planning to expand into other emerging domains. The value of an MBA, especially from a premier management institution is far from diminishing. To equip students, the institute has been offering a dedicated course on AI for several years and is now expanding this with comprehensive workshops. Additionally, to prevent copying from AI tools, we have made it mandatory for all assignments to go through Turnitin (a similarity detection software) that can easily detect the use of AI-generated content. IIM Raipur is also developing an AI policy to guide responsible use, fostering independent thinking and ethical application of generative AI tools in education. An Israeli official said, 'We explained to America that if a good diplomatic solution emerges, there is no point in attacking. Therefore, we will wait until the negotiations are completely over.' On the other hand, according to a report by the 'Wall Street Journal', Iran is focused on increasing its military strength. It has imported a large quantity of material from China to make ballistic missiles, including ammonium perchlorate. With this material, Iran can produce 800 missiles. This material is expected to arrive in Iran in the coming months. Reports indicate that this material has been procured by an Iranian company, Pishgaman Tejarat Rafi Novin, from the Hong Kong company 'Lion Commodities Holdings.'
