Bafta-nominated actor Micheal Ward, who has appeared in Top Boy, has been charged with rape and sexual assault, the Metropolitan Police said.
Ward, who also appeared in films Blue Story and The Old Guard, allegedly carried out the offences in January 2023.
The 22-year-old Jamaican-born English actor is accused of two counts of rape and three of sexual assault.
The alleged offences relate to one woman, the Met Police confirmed.
Ward will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on August 28.
Detective Superintendent Scott Ware, whose team is leading the Met's investigation, said: 'Our specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward - we know investigations of this nature can have significant impact on those who make reports.'

Luke Littler's actions spotted during interval at World Matchplay final speak volumes
Luke Littler won the World Matchplay at the first attempt on Sunday night, beating James Wade 18-13 in the final in Blackpool, but one fan spotted his classy act during a break in play Luke Littler appears to have captured a legion of new fans after his World Matchplay triumph on Sunday. The teenage sensation was at the heart of a charm offensive as he was spotted signing autographs for the crowd during a break in play. The 18-year-old elevated his extraordinary career to dizzying new heights in Blackpool, defeating James Wade 18-13, whilst his family and new girlfriend, with whom he went public with recently, cheered him on. Afterwards he paid tribute to icon of the game, Phil Taylor. The Warrington-born star has now entered an exclusive club in the game alongside Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries as only the fifth player to clinch the coveted triple crown, comprising the Matchplay, Premier League and World Championship. Littler's path to glory proved utterly dramatic, with Wade racing into a commanding 5-0 advantage before the teenager reeled off five straight legs to level proceedings. After edging 7-6 ahead, Littler weathered a stern fightback from his opponent before ultimately sealing the silverware with four consecutive legs, reports the Express. Yet it was his heartwarming gesture during the interval that truly endeared him to the audience, as Littler made time for those in attendance despite having no obligation to do so. One poster on X wrote: "Littler signing autographs during the interval is very classy btw, not many players do that." Littler's touching display of humility demonstrates that, regardless of his meteoric rise to stardom, he remains thoroughly grounded. The reaction proved overwhelmingly positive, with one fan posting in response: "Yeah I was surprised at that. Josh Rock didn't even do it after he won!" Littler had stumbled to 5-0 down in his semi-final against Rock on Saturday too. Yet he signed off in style, hitting a sublime nine-dart finish to clinch the match 17-14. By winning the title after a series of stunning comebacks, Littler is now the youngest champion in Matchplay annals. The 'Nuke' is actually six years younger than Wade himself was when he won the accolade in 2007. Speaking after his victory, he told Sky Sports what the achievement means to him. "Phil [Taylor] is my idol – he won here 16 times and now my name will be on this trophy," Littler said. "Since I started on the tour and got my tour card I've always said to myself, 'As long as I win one of every major I'll be happy.' I've only got a few left to tick off and I'll definitely chase the majors I haven't won yet." On winning the competition by mounting yet another breathtaking comeback, he added: "Five-nil down once again, I said, 'I've been here before, what are you doing?' "But I managed to pull it out of the bag and win the next five. I've shown I can come back from 5-0 or 7-3 down. I'm happy I can pull myself out of these scorelines, but I don't want to be 5-0 down again."

Kelsey Parker breaks silence with poignant family photo after tragic loss of third child
Tom Parker's widow, Kelsey Parker, has taken to Instagram to post a poignant family photo one month after the heartbreaking loss of her third child Kelsey Parker has broken her social media silence to post a gorgeous family photo over a month after announcing that her third child was stillborn. The proud mum announced the tragic news that her third-born child was stillborn - and that it was a little boy, named Phoenix. The podcast host, 34, who was expecting her third child with her partner Will Lindsay, broke the devastating news on her Instagram on June 22. Over one month after the tragic loss, Kelsey has taken to Instagram to show off a glimpse of her much-needed family holiday after an incredibly tough couple of weeks. Kelsey took to Instagram on Sunday to post the sun-soaked snap of herself, Will, and her two children Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four, as they all gazed out over the ocean. Though she didn't share the exact destination, she credited the airline for the smooth journey, writing: 'Exactly what we needed. Thank you @jet2 for making it so easy. X' Kelsey's family holiday comes after she paid a heartbreaking tribute to her son last month. The tribute included one simple heartbreaking caption: 'Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved', alongside a moving poem, entitled For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved. The poem read: 'The world grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight. 'We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won't ask why. No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear.' In a second Instagram story, Kelsey wrote: "Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share. "But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. Love always, Kelsey, Will, and the Parker Family." Kelsey had happily showed off her baby bump as she attended the Elio UK Gala screening at Vue Cinema in London's Leicester Square with her children on Sunday 17th June. The family outing came after Kelsey shared her appreciation for Will earlier this month in an Instagram post, in which she said she was ''full of gratitude' for her partner and thanked him for his help with her young children. She included a series of loved-up photos of them together, including one of them on holiday, and photos of Will with Aurelia and Bodhi. Kelsey wrote: "Appreciation post. I know you're not a fan of being on my social media, but I can't help it - this moment deserves to be shared. "We're just a month away from meeting our baby, and I'm so full of gratitude. Thank you for everything you do - for me and for the kids. We love and adore you more than words can say I can't wait to start this next chapter with you. Honestly, I think you're going to find the newborn stage a breeze after handling a 5 and 4-year-old." Kelsey shares children Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with The Wanted star Tom Parker, who tragically died from brain cancer in 2022 at the age of 33, four years after they married. She had opened up to the Mirror in January about her excitement at welcoming a third child into the family home in South East London which she now shares with tree surgeon Will, after finding love again last September. Confessing that the baby, which would have been Will's first child, was a "happy accident", Kelsey said she was gently preparing Aurelia and Bodhi for a new sibling, and sharing the joyous news with Tom's family.

The best bar in Soho, according to Time Out
Soho is perhaps London's most bar-studded neighbourhood, but one sits head and shoulders above them all as the greatest place to drink. It's a bar that Time Out has diligently supported over the years (aka drank there a lot), and we're happy to call it the best bar in Soho for 2025; it's the excellent Trisha's on Greek Street! The bar's proper name is the New Evaristo Club, but the basement hangout and member's club is fondly known as Trisha's in homage to the venue's leading lady and de facto Queen of Soho, Trisha Bergonzi. Late chef and presenter Anthony Bourdain infamously branded Trisha's the 'Dean Martin of drinking establishments' after he visited with Marco Pierre White in a 2011 episode of his show The Layover. Once a men-only Italian gambling club, Liverpool-born publican's daughter Bergonzi began drinking in the club with her late husband decades before she took over the bar. 'They wouldn't let me in, but I made such a fuss over it that they had to,' she once said. 'Then I just stayed there!' The bar has been open for over 80 years. The bar is behind a discreet blue door on Greek Street and down a rickety flight of stairs. 'We've never advertised,' explained Bergonzi. 'We just sort of grew – we're one of those little gems.' Trisha's was saved from closure in 2013, after making headlines when Westminster Council applied for a licence review, stating that the bar was being investigated due to complaints from local residents. Other bars to feature in Time Out's Top 20 Bars in Soho include Three Sheets, which was recently tipped by bartending experts as the best first date bar in London, as well as the bar at restaurant Bebe Bob, Bar Termini, and Garlic and Shots.
