With this trick, you'll need to ditch your beauty blender and use your fingers to blend in concealer

Carina, who is passionate about empowering women in their prime, is a 'midlife make-up artist' who works at a NARS counter in Southampton.
Now, the brunette beauty has demonstrated how to ensure concealer sits correctly and in the most flattering way possible under the eyes.
Posting on social media and sharing her expert advice, Carina responded to a comment that read: 'I find the concealer goes into my wrinkles and they look worse around the eyes and crows feet.'
To this, Carina stressed the importance of using the right product, that is the correct shade for you.
According to this make-up pro, to ensure your eyes don't look sunken or wrinkly, you'll need a matte product that matches your skin tone.
To demonstrate, she used the Soft Matte Complete Concealer from NARS.
But instead of just applying the concealer to the area, Carina explained that it's important to hydrate the area too.
As a result, she used a tiny amount of eye cream, the size of a rice grain, with a small amount of concealer and stressed: 'Take your concealer that matches your skin and make a little paste with that.'
Once she'd made her paste, Carina applied it lightly under her eye and then shared her simple technique, which involves using your finger, rather than a beauty blender or brush, to blend and smudge in the product.
Carina added: 'Then just press and roll, press and roll and press and roll that into the dip.'
From banana skins to ear massages - five natural anti-aging hacks revealed
Following this, she confirmed: 'You might want to go over that a couple of times, but you can see that by pressing it on and also using that hydrating cream, it does look better.
'But that's because we've gone in with the same colour as our base - you'll never be able to get rid of it completely, but what you can do is try to minimise it.'

Carina

I create rollercoasters at the UK's top theme park – I know the best place to sit on the popular rides

Well, one ride expert, who is called 'Britain's Rollercoaster King' has revealed where exactly you should sit on a ride to get the ultimate experience at Alton Towers - and he's got lots of other handy tips too. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 Anyone riding Nemesis should take a seat at the front for the most thrills Credit: Alamy 4 John is the brains behind topspin rollercoaster, the Toxicator Credit: Alton Towers John Burton, aka Britain's Rollercoaster King, is the mastermind behind some of the biggest rides in Alton Towers. As the Senior Creative Lead, John has made the likes of Nemesis Reborn, Toxicator and The Curse at Alton Manor. John says that where you sit on a ride can dramatically affect the ride experience. He explained: 'On coasters like Wicker Man, sit at the back for stronger airtime and a more intense pull over the hills. "For cinematic rides like Nemesis Reborn, go front row to get the full view and immersive story.' Once you've chosen where to sit, John added that it's crucial to never shut your eyes. He explained: 'By doing that you're missing half the experience - all the incredible theming, the storytelling, and the artistry that is built into every ride. 'People think it helps calm their nerves, but it actually makes the whole experience worse. "You lose all visual context, your brain can't process what's coming, which amplifies the fear.' It's not just individual rides that John has handy tips on, he also has a way to beat queuing at the park. I was the first to ride Alton Towers' newest ride Toxicator - it was a topsy-turvy spinning explosion 4 On Wicker Man, John said to sit at the back Credit: Alamy The classic mistake that John said everyone makes is heading straight to biggest rollercoasters with the most recognisable names at the front of the park. Instead, go to the back of the theme park first and work your way forwards. By doing this, John explained that you will "beat the queues and get more rides in.' For particular rides like the Nemesis Reborn, there's a particular way to avoid lightheadedness. It's a technique used by fighter pilots which is to tense your calves and core - these are said to reduce blackout sensations. Another ride that John knows all about is the new attraction for 2025, the Toxicator - because he's the brains behind it. The topspin ride has people seated back-to-back before being flipped around and held face down over a "pool of toxic alien acid". And here's what one writer thought when they were the first to ride Alton Towers' newest ride Toxicator – it was a topsy-turvy spinning explosion. Vaz revealed described the ride as "an intense assault on the senses as you are whirled round and round before being dragged back and flung forwards again." The ride is part of the theme park's Forbidden Valley and is next to Nemesis Reborn which was revamped last year. Dramatic green-lit water fountains on both sides of the ride shoot up around the attraction to represent toxic terror. And here's more about the Alton Towers new 'Disney style' dining plans in UK first with themed meals and snacks.

Mother-in-law slammed by bride as she wears IDENTICAL wedding gown & wails hysterically at her son's choice of wife Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) GETTING married is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. But one woman's wedding day has left a bitter taste in her mouth, and it's all thanks to her mother-in-law. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 The mother-in-law was slammed, and it wans't just because of her wedding dress Credit: Reddit The bride recently took to social media to explain how her mother-in-law tried to ruin the day and put a stop to it. In the image the bride shared, she stood next to her husband wearing a gorgeous lace gown, holding a bouquet of blue and white flowers. Her husband held her around the waist as they posed for the snaps but one detail left viewers horrified. Standing just behind the groom was his own mum who wore a white wedding dress in an identical lace pattern as the bride. As she tried to squeeze her way into the pictures of the married couple, she clung to her son's arm. The scenes shocked many but the bride said this was only the start of it. Taking to the Reddit forum, Wedding Shaming, she said her mother-in-law cried the entire night before the wedding. She wrote: "My MIL cried the day we got married. "She cried LOUDLY the night before our destination wedding about how disappointed she was that her son chose me "out of all his options". "Then proceeded to not sign the guest book or gift us anything, even a card." 2 The pair say the groom's mum is now on her best behaviour Credit: Getty I'm 5ft3 & a size 12-14 - my 7 Tesco dresses are an absolute bargain & perfect for a last-minute wedding guest outfit People were shocked by the bride's story and many asked how the relationship was going now. She said the wedding happened five years ago and her mother-in-law has been on her 'best behaviour' after being told off by her son. "This was 5 years ago! It's actually going well. He put his foot in her a** after the wedding and she's been nothing but cordial ever since," she explained. Still, people were shocked by her choice to wear a wedding dress to her son's big day. One person wrote: "Well, if it's any consolation, you looked amazing in that dress!" Another commented: "'Didn't sign the guest book or send a gift' But she still showed up to make sure her triflin a** was in all the pictures in white no less." "The way she is holding his arm it looks like she wants to be the bride," penned a third. Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble. Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom. Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided. Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream - even if it's not. Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered. Wearing white is a massive no-no if you're not the bride. Meanwhile a fourth said: "Boy mums are so weird." "Straight to jail. She belongs to the streets,' claimed a fifth Someone else added: "I hope that was the last day you and your husband spoke with her."
