Two Hoopeston teens arrested, facing drug, battery charges
According to the Hoopeston Police Department, officers responded to the area of West Lincoln Street and South 4th Avenue just before 3 p.m. on Saturday.
19-year-old dead, two juveniles injured after shooting in Danville
When officers arrived, they arrested one of the 19-year-olds for resisting and obstructing, aggravated assault to police, and aggravated battery to police. The other teenager was arrested for possession of cannabis between 100-500 grams, and possession with the intent to deliver.
Both were taken to the Hoopeston Police Station for processing. Then, the two were transported to the Danville Public Safety Building to await arraignment.
