High-speed driver busted by police after dangerous chase through London
The Metropolitan Police has released footage of the police chase which shows officers following the vehicle through the streets of London as the car travels at dangerous speeds on the wrong side of various roads.
The police manage to bring the car to a stop by driving up against the vehicle in a tactical move.
The force confirmed a driver had been arrested and drugs, cash and phones were also seized.
A force spokesman said: "Decisive police action is helping to remove drugs and dangerous drivers from London's streets."

Three men have been jailed for slashing and beating two males during a vicious street assault in the West Midlands. Said Raza, Hanif Rahman and Emal Ahmadzi were originally in the company off their two victims before they split off. The three men were located two days later in the centre of Coventry. Raza and Ahmadzi ran away from officers but Rahman was detained and in possession of an axe. Officers caught up with Raza and Ahmadzi later the same day and arrested them. Rahman tried to claim in interview that while he was there and seen holding a knife, he hadn't actually been involved. He told officers he had witnessed the assault and only picked up the knife because he didn't want anyone to use it. Rahman was convicted of his involvement following a trial at Warwick Crown Court. Raza and Ahmadzi pleaded guilty and the trio were sentenced last Friday: - Hanif Rahman, of Rye Hill, Coventry: Jailed for five years for wounding, possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon. - Emal Ahmadzi, of Skelmersdale, Lancashire: Jailed for four-and-a-half years for wounding and possession of a bladed article. - Said Raza, of Emscote Road, Warwick: Jailed for four years and nine months for wounding and possession of a bladed article.

Man accused of driving into Liverpool parade crowds faces new charges
A man accused of driving into crowds at Liverpool's Premier League victory parade faces an additional 24 charges, including two relating to alleged victims who were babies. Paul Doyle, 53, was in tears as he appeared over videolink from prison for the Liverpool Crown Court hearing on Thursday. He was originally charged with seven offences after the incident on Water Street in the city centre just after 6pm on Monday, May 26. Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday heard six of the new charges relate to children, including two babies, one aged six months at the time and one aged seven months. Doyle, wearing a grey T-shirt, did not enter any pleas during the hearing, which lasted about 20 minutes. Recorder of Liverpool Judge Andrew Menary KC adjourned the case until September 4 when Doyle is expected to enter pleas. The new charges include 23 assault charges and one count of affray. Merseyside Police said 134 people were injured when Doyle allegedly drove his Ford Galaxy Titanium into crowds who were leaving the waterfront after the parade. Doyle, of Croxteth, Liverpool, was charged in May with two counts of wounding with intent, two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of dangerous driving. A wounding charge and an attempted grievous bodily harm charge relate to children, aged 11 and 17. Earlier this year, a provisional trial date was fixed for November 24, and the case is expected to last three to four weeks.

George Gilbey: Police conclude investigation into death of Gogglebox star
Police have concluded their investigation into the death of Gogglebox star George Gilbey. Mr Gilbey sustained traumatic injuries to his head and torso and died in Shoeburyness, Essex, on 27 March last year. Coroner's officer Deborah Frost told a previous inquest hearing that the 40-year-old had been "working on a roof when he fell through a plastic skylight, landing on the ground below". Two men who were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter in relation to Mr Gilbey's death will face no further police action, Essex Police said in a statement on Wednesday. "Essex Police have confirmed their investigation into the death of George Gilbey last year has concluded," the force said. Police said the criminal investigation remains open and will be led by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). HSE inspector Natalie Prince said the agency "will continue to thoroughly investigate George's tragic death" and "aim to establish if there have been any breaches of health and safety law". She added: "We are in regular contact with George's family and our thoughts remain with them at this time." Mr Gilbey was best known for appearing on the Channel 4 series Gogglebox - on which participants watch and comment on TV shows from the previous week. The family first appeared on the second series of Gogglebox in 2013 but were dropped the following year when the reality star signed up for the 14th series of Celebrity in 2014, reaching the final.
