The glamour of Regency-era London is heading to the capital this Eid season with a one-night-only candlelight concert inspired by the Netflix series 'Bridgerton'. Taking place on April 18th at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, the performance - part of the Candlelight Concert series - will reinterpret the show's romantic soundtrack with a live string quartet under the soft glow of candlelight.
Led by violinist Klaudia Olborska, the concert will feature two performances at 8 PM and 10 PM, with a 60-minute programme that includes classical renditions of 'Bridgerton's' signature covers—known for blending modern pop with baroque stylings. Tickets start from AED 200 and are available through Fever, the organisers behind the international Candlelight Concert series, as well as the official Candlelight Concert website.
While guests are encouraged to dress in Regency-style evening wear, the event's period-inspired ambience can be enjoyed with or without formal attire. Upcoming Candlelight Concerts include tributes to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, ABBA vs Queen, and Imagine Dragons all taking place this spring.

Squid Game" Season 3 Drops Final Trailer

Yara Sameh Netflix dropped Friday a second trailer of the third and final season of its smash-hit South Korean blockbuster dystopian show 'Squid Game.' The third and final season of the Korean hit — Netflix's most watched series to date, regardless of language — arrives June 27. The new trailer takes a somewhat more somber tone than the previous one, with quieter music and a voiceover from Jang Geum-ja/Player 149 (portrayed by Kang Ae-shim), who's speaking to the show's protagonist Seong Gi-Hun (Lee Jung-jae): 'Are you blaming yourself for everything that happened? No matter how you look at it, life is just unfair. Bad people do bad things, but they blame others and go on to live in peace. Good people, on the other hand, beat themselves up about the smallest things,". 'I still believe that you came here to save us all,' she concludes. Player 456, though, gets the last line: 'I'm trying to put an end to it.' Season two of "Squid Game", released in late December, ended with a cliffhanger: The games weren't over, and Gi-hun and his associates were once again held captive. After winning the Squid Games in season one, Gi-hun was determined to dismantle them from the inside. The giant streamer released the first trailer at its annual Tudum event in May. The seven-episode second season explored Gi-hun's efforts to do that, culminating in a finale where he found himself thwarted by Front Man, the enigmatic game leader played by Lee Byung-hun who was revealed to the audience — but not yet to Gi-hun — to be Player 001. Front Man executed Gi-hun's best friend, Player 290/Park Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan), as a warning about the consequences of his rebellion.
