NESR Awarded $200 Million in New Slickline Contracts Across Multiple Countries

Yahoo29-04-2025
HOUSTON, TX / / April 29, 2025 / National Energy Services Reunited Corp. ("NESR" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:NESR)(Nasdaq:NESRW) an international, industry-leading provider of integrated energy services in the Middle East and North Africa ("MENA") region, today announced multiple, five-year Slickline contract awards in Kuwait and Oman.
Totaling US$200 million, the multiyear contracts represent new awards in a key growth service line within NESR's Drilling & Evaluation ("D&E") segment. Consistent with the expansion of evaluation services like Cased Hole Wireline and Surface Well Testing, these contracts underscore the "portfolio pull through" strategy in D&E, whereby leadership in a certain product or service, in one or two countries, is replicated across NESR's entire MENA footprint, particularly in its burgeoning share of rigless activity.
NESR CEO & Chairman Sherif Foda commented, "These two new entries for NESR Slickline further our MENA leadership position in this demanding evaluation services space. Following our philosophy of expanding Slickline beyond its current stronghold in Saudi and Egypt, we are very pleased to see the segment extend into Oman and Kuwait for the first time, augmenting our already well-established business in these anchor countries. Besides volume, this brings geographic diversification to Slickline and a competitive advantage in being a top three provider of such services in the region."

Arm (ARM) Gets Buy Rating and $150 Target as Analyst Sees Triple Market Reach

Arm Holdings plc (NASDAQ:ARM) is one of the 10 AI Stocks Making Waves on Wall Street. On August 11, Seaport Global Securities analyst Jay Goldberg initiates coverage on the stock with a Buy rating and a price target of $150.00. The firm believes Arm has revitalized itself after keeping out of the spotlight for years. The company has a big presence in the data center market and is now expanding into automotive. 'Historically, Arm was highly reliant on the mobile phone market. Mobile is still important, but the company has diversified widely beyond that. It now has considerable penetration in the data center. The company claims that 50% of data center servers now have some form of IP in them. This includes CPUs, AI head nodes, networking and other chips. This is up from 0% less than 10 years ago. We expect their penetration to grow both deeper (more substantial content) and wider (more deployments in coming years). The company also has considerable design traction in automotive, albeit on the very long time frames associated with that industry." An accountant in a suit entering the Federal Reserve with an arm full of U.S. Treasury securities. "Overall, the company has roughly tripled its addressable market. The company has revamped the entry-level for its products. Three years ago, the company introduced a number of changes to its licensing terms which allowed smaller companies and start-ups to more readily access Arm IP. This has shored up the bottom end of the market which had been gradually shifting to 'open source' RISC V. Finally, Arm is attempting to move up the value chain by providing more complete designs for chips. This could be a strong way to increase value capture, but comes at the risk of infringing on the business of some of its licensees. Arm has been very vague about its ultimate ambitions in this space. There is some room here for the company to navigate this prospect, but as of now, its course remains unclear to us.' Rigetti Computing Stays The Course In Push For Quantum Advantage

Rigetti Computing, Inc. (NASDAQ:RGTI) shares are trading higher on Wednesday. The firm released its second-quarter results after Tuesday's closing bell, with quarterly losses of 13 cents per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate for losses of 6 cents. Quarterly revenue came in at $1.8 million, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.88 million and is down from revenue of $3.086 million from the same period last the miss, Wall Street analysts maintained bullish outlooks, pointing to progress on Rigetti's technology roadmap. Needham: Scaling Progress Strengthens Confidence Analyst N. Quinn Bolton reiterated the Buy rating on the stock, with a price forecast of $18. Bolton said Rigetti met its mid-year goal with a four-chiplet, 36-qubit Cepheus-1-36Q QPU reaching 99.5% median two-qubit fidelity. He added that this strengthens management's confidence in delivering a >100-qubit system with 99.5% median two-gate fidelity by year-end. He also noted quantum advantage remains about four years away and will require meeting four key specifications. Rigetti, which went public in February 2022 as the second pure-play quantum firm, is a full-stack pioneer with proprietary quantum-classical infrastructure and is well-positioned to benefit as the industry advances in the near and long term. Bolton added that its approach, built on scalable multi-chip processors designed, manufactured and housed at Fab-1, lets commercial and government customers explore applications while the company and peers work toward fully fault-tolerant systems. According to the analyst, existing partnerships and customer ties should lead to follow-on R&D agreements and larger opportunities as scaling continues. Analysts expect that from 2026 onward, the company will raise its qubit count to the hundreds and improve median two-qubit gate fidelity to 99.9%. They also anticipate the introduction of qLDPC-based quantum error correction. Benchmark: Roadmap to 1,000 Qubits Analyst David Williams reiterated the Buy rating, raising the price forecast to $20 from $14. Williams said Rigetti remains on track to deliver a 100-qubit, multi-chiplet QPU with 99.5% two-qubit gate fidelity by year-end, a key step toward quantum advantage. He noted the newly released Cepheus-1 met that fidelity goal while cutting error rates, debuting what he views as the industry's largest multi-chip processor for quantum computing and reinforcing the scalability of Rigetti's architecture. He added that these gains firm up the roadmap to a 1,000+-qubit system with 99.9% fidelity, built-in error correction, and sub-50 ns gate times needed for advantage. While management still sees a three-to-four-year timeline to reach that threshold, the analyst expects meaningful revenue opportunities well before then. Williams also highlighted that Rigetti increased cash by $350 million to about $570 million during the period, which he believes is sufficient to fund continued investment through commercialization. Management said the long-term objective over the next three to four years is a 1,000-qubit system targeting 99.9% fidelity, built-in error correction, and sub-50 ns gates, enabled by advances in cabling, cryogenics, and chiplet density. They also argued the chiplet architecture is the only practical route to scale and noted strong patent protection. Why Shares of Global-e Online Are Sinking Today

Key Points Global-e Online's platform solves the complexities of selling products globally. It continues to grow its sales and improve its profitability, despite the challenging operating environment. Ultimately, the short-term problems plaguing Global-e's stock now could be its long-term opportunity. 10 stocks we like better than Global-E Online › Leading cross-border e-commerce enabler Global-e Online (NASDAQ: GLBE) has seen its stock drop 7% as of noon ET Wednesday, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence. Global-e Online beat analysts' expectations after growing revenue by 28% and recording profitability for the second time in three quarters. The company also raised its full-year guidance to 31% sales growth. Despite these results, Global-e's stock remains down 7% due to worries over how the company's operations will be affected by the new tariffs and the U.S. de minimis customs exemption ending. Impressive results in tariff-y times For the third time in as many quarters, Global-e's stock has dropped following earnings. With revenue growing 42%, 30%, and 28% over these quarters, it is tough to argue that these sell-offs stem from poor operational results, though. Instead, Global-e's 42% drop in 2025 seems to stem from factors outside its control. Since the company's solutions enable its customers to sell products across borders, the ongoing tariff and de minimis changes in the U.S. have soured the market's outlook on Global-e's stock as they complicate cross-border trade. However, this may be a short-sighted outlook. Last quarter, Global-e rolled out a new 3B2C (business-to-business-to-consumer) solution that "enables global brands to leverage their international footprint in order to partially offset costs due to tariffs." This complex solution perfectly exemplifies how Global-e thrives amid uncertainty as it helps its customers "go global." Yes, new tariffs and the de minimis exemption ending may weigh on cross-border trade over the short term. However, that could prove to be a long-term benefit for Global-e as it creates solutions to solve these challenges. Now trading at 35 times free cash flow, Global-e looks like an outstanding business trading at a reasonable valuation. Should you invest $1,000 in Global-E Online right now?
