State's Digital Revenue Card will be officially launched on November 1, said Revenue Minister K. Rajan while inaugurating the Kurkanchery Smart Village Office on Saturday.
The rollout will begin in villages where digital resurvey has already been completed. The new card, resembling an ATM card, will have a unique 10-digit digital number and come embedded with a QR code and chip, allowing citizens to easily access land, building, and liability-related services from village offices.
'The card will streamline access to all services provided by the Revenue department. Most revenue offices are now digitised, and over 21 certificates are currently available online,' the Minister said.
He also highlighted the 'Ente Bhoomi' (My Land) portal, which integrates 14 data points from the Registration, Revenue, and Survey departments, offering users a comprehensive view of land-related information. 'This initiative is creating a transformational shift in how land data is accessed in the state,' he added.
She inaugurated the new Smart Village Office at Kurkanchery, which was built at a cost of ₹50 lakh under the state government's 2022–23 Plan Scheme. Mayor M.K. Varghese presided over the function.

‘Ente Bhoomi' promises to make land transactions swift & error-free
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: For long, bureaucratic bottlenecks and compliance-related hassles have been dragging procedures related to land deals in Kerala. This is set to change, if a state government initiative is any indication. Billed as a one-stop solution for land transactions the government's 'Ente Bhoomi' integrated land management system is expected to ensure speedy disposal of files and accuracy of documents. The success of its trial run at Ujar Ulvar, a village in Kasaragod, has prompted the government to include at least one village from each district in the 'Ente Bhoomi' single-window portal, within a month. Details of only digitally surveyed villages – 300 as of now – are available in the portal. The rest of the villages are being covered under the statewide digital survey in phases. At present, land transactions at Ujar Ulvar are now performed through the 'Ente Bhoomi' portal. The process starts with the buyer or seller applying for thandaper certificate and survey sketch of the proposed land via the portal. These are uploaded to the portal by the village office and survey office, respectively. The land owner then fills in the template of the transaction deed available on the portal. The land details appear automatically and the seller can list any specific conditions regarding the transaction. It is then submitted to the registration department online.

Thrissur city to be lit up with 50,000 LED lights
In a major infrastructure upgrade, Thrissur city will be fully illuminated with 50,000 LED street lights as part of the 'Light for Night Life' project within six months. Inaugurating the project at a function here on Friday, Revenue Minister K. Rajan said the transformation marks a significant milestone in Thrissur's journey toward becoming a modern metropolitan city. 'Over the past nine years, Thrissur has made model advancements in sanitation, beautification, and public safety. This lighting project is yet another step in that direction,' he said. Under the project, outdated street lights will be replaced with modern, energy-efficient LED lights across all 55 divisions within the Corporation limits. A digital survey will be done to assess lighting requirements area-wise and will install high-mast and mini-mast lights in addition to standard LED units. Mayor M.K. Varghese presided over the function.
