
Al-Rahda Customs Center in Taiz seizes smuggled medicines, cigarettes
The Al-Rahda Customs Center in Taiz Governorate, in cooperation with the Anti-Smuggling Unit, seized 3,800 strips of smuggled medicines and seven cartons of smuggled cigarettes.
Muhammad Rashad Al-Jabri, Director of the Center, told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the medicines were hidden inside the fuel tank of a "Shas" pickup truck and were intercepted at the Sami checkpoint. Meanwhile, the cigarettes were confiscated from motorcycles in the Al-Salu/Qaradha area.
Al-Jabri praised the efforts of the Anti-Smuggling Unit and customs inspectors in thwarting smuggling attempts, stressing that the center "will not relent in its duty to intercept all types of smuggled and prohibited goods."

Hodeidah - Saba: Al-Zaraniq tribes in Al-Husseiniya area of Bayt al-Faqih district in Al-Hodeidah province held the funeral procession for the martyr Muhammad Hiba Qaibil.
