
'The Snow Queen' Glides into Coca-Cola Arena This April

A winter spectacle is gliding into Dubai. Coca-Cola Arena, in partnership with SAMIT Event Group, is bringing an ice show adaptation of 'The Snow Queen' to Dubai on Wednesday, April 2nd.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairytale, the story follows a brave young girl on a journey to rescue her best friend, exploring themes of love, loyalty, and the timeless battle between good and evil.
The production is helmed by acclaimed Russian ice dancer Ilia Averbukh, a world champion and Olympic silver medalist, known for his stunning choreography. He's joined by an all-star cast of Olympic medalists, world champions, and elite skaters who will bring this magical tale to life on the ice.
Tickets range from AED 125 to AED 475 and are available now via the official Coca-Cola Arena website.

Russia Backs Egypt's Candidate Khaled El-Anany for UNESCO Director-General Post
Nada Mustafa Alexander Alimov, Director of Department for Multilateral Humanitarian Cooperation and Cultural Relations at the Russian Foreign Ministry and Executive Secretary of the Russian Commission for UNESCO, said on Sunday that Russia hopes to see Egyptian candidate Khaled El-Anany assume the role of UNESCO Director-General in 2025. According to Russia's Sputnik News Agency, Alimov stated: 'We certainly expect the new Director-General to be Egypt's candidate.' He also stressed that, with the upcoming leadership change, Russia hopes UNESCO's Secretariat will 'return to neutral and unbiased work.' A new Director-General will be elected in the fall of 2025 during UNESCO's General Conference, succeeding French incumbent Audrey Azoulay. Russia, U.S. to Hold New Round of Consultations on Normalizing Relations
Nada Mustafa Russian Ambassador to United States (U.S.) Anatoly Antonov, said on Saturday that a new round of consultations between Russia and U.S. on normalizing bilateral relations is scheduled to take place soon. Antonov confirmed, in remarks carried by the Russian news agency TASS today, that the upcoming round of talks on normalizing relations between Moscow and Washington will be held in the near future. U.S. Embassy in Moscow had earlier stated that the American side is ready for the next round of discussions and considers them constructive. The previous two rounds of consultations were held in Istanbul on February 27 and April 10.
