Salman Khan recalls seeing his poster in Kareena Kapoor's bathroom when she was 8; says Rahul Roy replaced him when she turned 15: ‘She was a fan'
Kapil Sharma kickstarted the third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show with Salman Khan as the first guest. While the actor had a great time interacting with the cast of the show, Kapil has now shared the leftover, unseen footage from Salman's episode on his YouTube channel.
During the extended interaction, Salman spoke about the possibility of doing a film with fellow superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. When Kapil mentioned Aamir's comment about trying to get all three Khans to work in a film together, Salman responded, 'Let them try. Jab hoga tab hoga.'
Salman was also asked about Aamir's wish to travel with both him and Shah Rukh to an undisclosed location. Talking about the idea, he said, 'Aamir told me that SRK, me and him should make a trip together. We are working it out… a place where nobody knows us.' To this, Archana Puran Singh quipped that no such place exists on this planet and suggested they try the moon. Salman cheekily added, 'Maybe it will work but how long it will work, we will see.'
Kapil then showcased several posters of Salman Khan at bizarre locations like salons, eyewear shops, and more. When asked if Salman had ever come across his poster in a weird place, the actor recalled, 'It is long time ago, I think I have heard in Kareena Kapoor's bathroom. I was shown my poster at her house, I think she was 8-9 years old at that time, she was a fan. After she became 15-16 years old, my poster was replaced by Rahul Roy's poster.' Kareena and Salman have worked together in films like Bodyguard, Kyon Ki and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Salman also opened up about his fitness journey and revealed that he had always found inspiration in veteran actor Dharmendra. He said that Dharmendra's workout photos used to motivate him in his early years. Salman then spoke about his father, Salim Khan, and praised his impressive metabolism and discipline even at the age of 89.
He shared, 'He (Salim Khan) eats 2-3 parathas, meat, rice. He also has dessert twice a day. His metabolism is different. He is also very disciplined. He walks all the way to Band Stand and back every morning.'
