Police are desperately searching for a young boy who went missing while wearing a Nottingham Forest FC kit and Crocs shoes. The 11-year-old named Byron has not been seen since he vanished from the Basford area of Nottingham at 11am on Saturday. Nottinghamshire Police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of the youngster, who also has links to Bulwell and Radford. The force has issued an urgent appeal for anyone who has seen him to come forward with further information. It has also shared a picture of Byron wearing a black Paris Saint Germain football kit and another of him in a Nike hoodie. Byron is described as looking older than his age, standing 5ft tall, with a medium build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a navy and pink Nottingham Forest football kit, black socks and a pair of Crocs. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident 244 of Saturday 16th August 2025. The force posted on its Facebook page earlier today: 'Have you seen missing Byron? 'We are concerned for his safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen him. Biker dies after crash between four motorcyclists and a Range Rover
A biker has died in a crash involving a group of four motorcyclists and a Range Rover. The collision happened on the B5340 at Bwlchgwyn, Wrexham, at 7.38pm yesterday. Emergency services were called to the scene between the A525 and Rhydtalog after reports of a crash involving four motorcycles and a Range Rover Evoque. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the male rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin and the coroner have been informed. Another rider suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, where he remains under treatment. Sergeant Alun Jones from the Roads Crime Unit team, said: 'I offer my deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. 'This is now sadly being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision. 'We are urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have been travelling or walking in the vicinity and who may have mobile or dash cam footage to contact us. 'The road was closed for some time to allow the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit to carry out their initial investigation and we'd like to thank everyone for their patience.' Motorbike rider dies after crash with Range Rover in Wrexham
A motorcyclist has died and another man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and four man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision with a Range Rover Evoque on the B5340 at Bwlchgwyn, Wrexham, despite the "best efforts" of emergency crews, North Wales Police said.A second man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital by paramedics on Friday said the dead man's next of kin and the coroner have been informed and its investigation was ongoing.
