Arrest as seven people treated following crash on A60
Police have arrested a man after seven people needed treatment following a crash on the A60 in were called to reports of a three-vehicle crash close to the junction with Burntstump Hill, near Hucknall, shortly after 10:18 BST on people were treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering, said police.A 53-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
Police said the road was closed between Burntstump Hill and the Ollerton Road roundabout to allow for recovery work, but it has since Insp Jon Scurr, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was a serious incident that required a large emergency response."Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police.
