Made In Chelsea star dramatically quits show and says 'there's a lot going on'

Daily Mirror23-05-2025
American Lauren Sintes has officially parted ways with Made In Chelsea, bringing her two-year stint on the reality series to a close
A familiar face from Made In Chelsea is stepping away for good, confirming that her final appearance on the reality series has already aired. Lauren Sintes, who joined the show back in 2023, has decided to exit after two drama-filled years.
Upon her debut, Lauren described herself as, 'super sassy, can be dramatic and can't wait to join the show.' But in a candid update to fans, the 29-year-old revealed she's ready to close this chapter of her life.

'There's a lot going on, online,' she began in a heartfelt video. 'I want to start by saying that my time on the show has come to an end, and some people might be very happy to hear that, some people maybe not.' She added that she's 'happy and sticking by [her] decision."

Lauren admitted she had second thoughts about even returning for the latest season. 'Looking back, I should've stuck to my gut decision and not done it because I think my frustration with many people on the show definitely came out,' she said. 'I took a break from the show because it was so draining for me."
Known for speaking her mind, Lauren reflected: 'I will admit, I'm not really the quiet girl or that nonchalant and if I don't agree with someone I will say it and I think that is my strength and my weakness.'
Her departure prompted an outpouring of support. Jazz Saunders wrote, 'I love you so much my girl,' while Junaid Ahmed added: 'Absolutely loved watching you on Chelsea!! So sad to see you go.'
Lauren also addressed online trolling and 'mean girl behaviour,' alluding to social media harassment by a fellow castmate. 'I am going to end this here, I know I came in hot and I'm leaving hot,' she said.

'Everyone's entitled to feel how they feel and not everyone can like you but to those who have messaged me and been so sweet and lovely and can read between the lines, thank you, I love you guys.'
Throughout her time on the show, Lauren was never far from conflict - including a recent spat with cast member Zeyno Taylan.
Lauren is half French/half English and had a very international upbringing due to her dad's career in the hotel industry. She went to international school in Malaysia, Indonesia and then Mauritius, where she spent most of her childhood. She then travelled to Bangkok, Cape Town, and then Barcelona for high school, and then London where she has been based ever since.
Before her stint on Made In Chelsea, Lauren was modelling for eight years, and during her career has modelled for brands including Boohoo, ASOS and PrettyLittleThing.

Tamar Braxton was found in 'pool of blood' and nearly died three days ago

Tamar Braxton has admitted that she nearly died just two days ago after a facial injury that left her missing teeth. The American singer and TV personality, best known as the founding member of The Braxtons, 48, made the revelation on her Instagram account, telling fans that she is still 'so weak'. The post was shared on her story and accompanied by Clavier's song, Spirit Lead Me, as she explained she didn't even know what caused the injuries. 'I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak. 'I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury. 'As the days go by the worse it is. I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. [broken heart emojis] the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real [broken heart emojis] 'I don't even know what happened to me [broken heart emojis] (sic)' Before the injury, the star had posted a quote reading: 'Thank you God for waking me up today.' After the incident, she shared a page from the Bible showing Proverbs 31. The news comes after Tamar announced earlier this year that she was prioritising her health, with plans to go on tour again. 'Bday is over so no more drinks…. No more carbs… all body and VOICE!!!' she said. 'Me and my brother @octoberlondon and I are going to give you a night you won't forget❤️😍🍀✨ see ya soon🏆,' she told followers on Instagram. In April the singer also marked her late sister's birthday: 'Happy Heavenly Birthday beautiful @therealtracibraxton We miss you down here sis!! But I know God didn't want to see you sick like that so, he brought you home to himself to heal you ❤️ Thank you for being an amazing sister and covering all of us down here🙏🏼✨' Traci Braxton died in 2022 following a battle with oesophageal cancer at least one year ahead of her death. In 2020, Tamar was hospitalised after attempting to take her life. She later thanked her boyfriend at the time for saving her life, and he later filed a restraining order against the singer, citing domestic violence. More Trending At present, Tamar is single. She told The Breakfast Club podcast earlier this year that she wasn't dating at the moment. 'I'm still celibate. Not even a kiss, not a date. A stylish new lunch-to-late Italian parlour is slinging epic sangas, pasta and cocktails

Channeling the energy of a 1940s clubhouse for Italian New Yorkers, Pepe's Italian and Liquor – a reliable stalwart for pepperoni pizzas, family-sized parmas and classic cocktails 'til midnight – has slowly established itself as one of Melbourne's more characterful Italian-American offerings since opening its doors in 2019. In a bold step forward, owner Nick Kutcher has just opened a sibling bar next door: Pepe's Parlour. The chic new spot, set in a glasshouse in the sun-dappled shadows of a 150-year-old tree, stays open from lunch until midnight – perfect for casual long lunches and Martini date nights. 'We wanted to create somewhere that feels special but never stuffy,' says Kutcher. Don't expect a run-of-the-mill sandwich here; head chef Antonio Loffredo bakes the fresh ciabatta daily in a custom-made brick oven, with options spanning porchetta, eggplant parma and the ultimate chicken cacciatore dip. If handmade pasta is more likely to steal your heart, try the baked vodka rigatoni or ricotta and salami cannelloni. To cater more widely for the CBD's casual lunch-goers, lighter options on the menu include protein-balanced lunch plates with seasonal sides. Think Aperol-cured salmon with avocado and pistachio pesto green beans or barbecued chicken skewers with ancient grains and charred peppers, with most dishes on the menu priced nicely under $30. Popping in for a nightcap instead? The venue's intimate Martini bar creates a moodier evening setting, with timber panelling, velvet bar stools and sultry lighting. A standout feature is an evocative ceiling mural by the acclaimed artist Jordy Van Den Nieuwendijk, famous for his work with Vogue and Hermès (don't miss an opportunity to try 'Jordy's Tomatoes' – a tomato-infused Martini inspired by the mural). The bar also offers a blend of classic cocktails and signature modern interpretations, such as cheeky riffs on the Porn Star Martini, Appletini and Mexican Martini, as well as more traditional variations – plus, a complimentary serve of nuts and olives, of course. Whether you check Pepe's Parlour out by day or night, be sure to give the team a very warm benvenuto! We can't wait to snag a street-side table as the weather gets warmer.

No Tall Ships arrests made as Aberdeen dubbed the 'Friendly City'

No longer just the Granite City, Aberdeen has been dubbed the 'Friendly City' after no arrests were made at the Tall Ships Festival. After years of planning from Police Scotland, Aberdeen City Council, and event staff, the Tall Ships Festival is now over. Officials have thanked the city, its businesses, and people for their warm welcome. Also, a top cop has praised officers after successful policing efforts at the events. The policing included extra CCTV, bag checks, and English anti-terror cops were deployed for the festival. It appears it was all worthwhile for an event that will live long in the memory for all involved. Adrian Watson, chief executive of Aberdeen Inspired, said: 'Aberdeen isn't just the Granite City, it's the friendly city.' With visitors flocking to see the fleet docked at the harbour, Aberdeen has been on the world stage. Hundreds of thousands of people have descended on the city, highlighted by Union Square announcing record footfall. Adrian Watson continued: 'The Tall Ships Races was all about celebration and happiness. 'That is underlined by the fact not a single arrest was made by police during the four days of the event when the city was packed with hundreds of thousands of people. 'This speaks volumes for just how warm, welcoming and safe our city is, and we should all take great pride in that.' Chief Inspector Darren Bruce was in charge of planning and delivering the policing of the event. He said: 'This has been an amazing event and a real opportunity to showcase Aberdeen and policing in Aberdeen. 'Police and partners have been involved in the planning process for almost two years, and to deliver an event of this scale is something everyone involved should be proud of. 'Our plan was always to take the opportunity to engage with those attending the event positively, while getting across our message about safety and security.'
