For the third quarter 2025, the Company expects adjusted EBITDA in the range of $75 million to $85 million.

For the third quarter 2025, the Company expects non-GAAP net income per diluted share in a range of $0.15 to $0.17 based on 425 million shares. These ranges include an estimated non-GAAP tax rate of 26% for the full year and the third quarter 2025.
The preceding forward-looking statements reflect CoStar Group's expectations as of July 22, 2025, including forward-looking non-GAAP financial measures on a consolidated basis, based on current estimates, expectations, observations, and trends. Given the risk factors, rapidly evolving economic environment, and uncertainties and assumptions discussed in this release and in our quarterly reports on Form 10-Q and annual reports on Form 10-K, actual results may differ materially. Other than in publicly available statements, the Company does not intend to update its forward-looking statements until its next quarterly results announcement.
Reconciliations of EBITDA, adjusted EBITDA, non-GAAP net income, and non-GAAP net income per diluted share to the most directly comparable GAAP measures are shown in detail below, along with definitions for those terms. A reconciliation of forward-looking non-GAAP guidance to the most directly comparable GAAP measure, net income (loss), can be found within the tables included in this release.
Non-GAAP Financial Measures
For information regarding the purpose for which management uses the non-GAAP financial measures disclosed in this release and why management believes they provide useful information to investors regarding the Company's financial condition and results of operations, please refer to the Company's latest periodic report.
EBITDA is a non-GAAP financial measure that represents GAAP net income attributable to CoStar Group before interest income or expense, net and other income or expense, net; loss on debt extinguishment; income taxes, and depreciation and amortization expense.
Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP financial measure that represents EBITDA before stock-based compensation expense; acquisition- and integration-related costs; restructuring and related costs, including certain advisory fees; and settlements and impairments incurred outside the Company's ordinary course of business. Adjusted EBITDA margin represents adjusted EBITDA divided by revenues for the period.
Non-GAAP net income is a non-GAAP financial measure determined by adjusting GAAP net income (loss) attributable to CoStar Group for stock-based compensation expense; acquisition- and integration-related costs, including gains or losses on equity investments acquired in prospective targets and related to deal-contingent financial instruments; restructuring costs; settlement and impairment costs incurred outside the Company's ordinary course of business, and loss on debt extinguishment, as well as amortization of acquired intangible assets and other related costs, and then subtracting an assumed provision for income taxes. In 2025, the Company is assuming a 26% tax rate to approximate its statutory corporate tax rate, excluding the impact of discrete items, to determine Non-GAAP net income for each quarterly period, year-to-date period, and the annual period.
Non-GAAP net income per diluted share is a non-GAAP financial measure that represents non-GAAP net income divided by the number of diluted shares outstanding for the period used in the calculation of GAAP net income per diluted share. For periods with GAAP net losses and non-GAAP net income, the weighted average outstanding shares used to calculate non-GAAP net income per share includes potentially dilutive securities that were excluded from the calculation of GAAP net income per share as the effect was anti-dilutive.
Operating Metrics
Net new bookings is calculated based on the annualized amount of change in the Company's sales bookings resulting from new subscription-based contracts, changes to existing subscription-based contracts, and cancellations of subscription-based contracts for the period reported. Information regarding net new bookings is not comparable to, nor should it be substituted for, an analysis of the Company's revenues over time.

(4) Diluted loss per share includes the effect of potential common shares, such as the Company's stock options, restricted stock units, and deferred stock units, to the extent the effect is dilutive. In periods with a net loss available to common stockholders, the anti-dilutive effect of these potential common shares is excluded and diluted net loss per share is equal to basic net loss per share. Non-GAAP weighted average shares have been adjusted for these periods to include the dilutive impact.

Palantir hits $1 billion in quarterly sales for the first time, avoids DOGE cuts

Shares of Palantir Technologies sailed past previous record highs Tuesday after booking its first $1 billion sales quarter and raising its performance expectations for the year. The stock rose above $170 on Tuesday after breaking previous records four times this year in the global artificial intelligence race. The previous high for the stock was set just over a week ago when its stock closed at $158.80. Since going public in 2020 when it posted a $1.17 billion annual loss, the artificial intelligence software company has swung swiftly to a profit and sales are booming. Profit rose 33% to $327 million in the second quarter. Its $1 billion quarterly revenue haul was fueled by a 53% spike in government sales, despite massive spending cuts under President Donald Trump and his Department of Government Efficiency, once led by the world's richest man Elon Musk. 'DOGE has had zero negative impact on Palantir's U.S. government business, which achieved its fastest growth rate since the second quarter of 2021,' wrote William Blair analysts Louie DiPalma and Bryce Sandberg. 'Palantir is clearly benefiting from AI industry momentum across its government and commercial customer bases.' The company also recorded a 93% jump in business sales. Overall U.S. revenue surged 68% to $733 million. Late Monday, Palantir raised its annual revenue expectations to between $4.14 billion and $4.15 billion. It also raised its U.S. commercial revenue guidance to more than $1.3 billion, which would mean that Palantir achieved a growth rate of at least 85%. 'This was a phenomenal quarter,' CEO Alex Karp said in a statement accompanying the earnings release. 'We continue to see the astonishing impact of AI leverage.' Karp believes AI will benefit everyone, saying during a call with industry analysts on Monday that Palantir is, 'bullish on all aspects of American life, including and especially people in the blue collar.' He said Palantir wants to 'arm the working class or blue collar workers with AI agency enhancing skills,' and said that the company will reach out to labor leaders to help familiarize workers with the technology. 'People with less than a college education are creating a lot value and sometimes more value than people with a college education using our product,' Karp said. Palantir, headquartered in Denver, specializes in software platforms that pull together and analyze large amounts of data.

Ninja's 2-Pack Portable Blender Deal Is Going for Peanuts, Each One Costs Less Than Buying Just One

Morning smoothies and post-workout shakes often mean hauling out a bulky countertop blender, cleaning a giant jar, and hunting for space on a crowded dish rack. The Ninja BC155PS Blast Two-Pack Portable Blender offers a better ritual. Each palm-size cup pairs with its own rechargeable base, so you can blend protein drinks in the locker room, whip up iced coffee at your desk, or prep baby food on vacation without searching for an outlet. Head over to Amazon to get the Ninja BC155PS Blast (2-pack) Portable Blender for just $100, down from its usual price of $130. That's a discount of $30 and 23% off. See at Amazon Every cup holds eighteen ounces, the sweet spot for a single smoothie or frozen margarita. Fill one with fruit, add milk or juice to the max line, twist on the stainless steel blade lid, and press the power button. The motor pulses through frozen berries in about thirty seconds, then stops automatically so you never risk over-blending. Pop off the blade, screw on the leakproof sipping lid, and you are out the door with zero transfers and only two parts to rinse later. Because the base is cordless, you can blend wherever the mood strikes. A full USB-C charge is good for roughly fifteen cycles, plenty for a long weekend trip or a few days of gym sessions. An LED ring around the button shows battery level at a glance. When power runs low, plug the base into any phone charger or laptop port and it starts refueling. The slim profile slots into a car cup holder or backpack side pocket, making it easy to keep fresh shakes within reach during hikes or road trips. Cleanup stays painless. Both the Tritan cup and the blade assembly go straight into the dishwasher's top rack. If you prefer hand washing, a quick swirl with warm soapy water does the trick. Ninja includes a second complete set, so you can blend a green juice for yourself and a chocolate shake for a partner without washing between batches. The parts are BPA-free and built to withstand routine drops and tosses into gym bags. Small details seal the deal. A safety lock prevents accidental starts when the blade is not secured, and the textured sleeve around each cup offers a comfortable grip even when condensation forms. For anyone who wants fresh blended drinks without the countertop clutter, this two-pack feels like an instant lifestyle upgrade. The Ninja BC155PS Blast Two-Pack Portable Blender is still available for $100 at Amazon, a solid saving compared with the usual $130 price. See at Amazon

Linda Yaccarino joins health tech platform eMed as CEO after leaving X

Linda Yaccarino's next role after departing X as CEO will be another chief executive role at eMed Population Health, an AI startup building a tech platform for patients using GLP-1s. Yaccarino was a longtime advertising executive at NBCUniversal, but left to join X as CEO for two years, where she managed to have a positive impact on the social network's troubled ad revenue model, despite her and Elon Musk's shared approach to minimizing content moderation. Though Yaccarino does not have experience in health tech, eMed said in a press release that they sought her out for her 'undeniable ability to negotiate new partnerships' — it certainly also helps that her tenure at X made her well-known in the tech world, drawing more eyes toward the startup. eMed previously produced a tech platform that was designed to be used with at-home COVID-19 rapid antigen tests, guiding users through the process of administering these tests properly. Now, eMed is focused on GLP-1s, the class of drugs like Ozempic, which can be used for both weight management and treatment of type II diabetes. 'To be a leader in today's healthcare marketplace, companies need to have a fearless tenacity that allows them to not only grow, but to also be brave enough to step forward and redefine an entire industry,' Yaccarino said in a press release. 'We are very well-positioned to be that tenacious leader, striving toward our ultimate goal of improving global healthcare outcomes through our groundbreaking services and platforms.'
