Dunelm's 'hotel quality' bedding that 'feels luxurious' now £22 in clearance sale
People wanting to give their bedroom a refresh should consider a set of bedding in Dunelm that's about to be discontinued. The popular item has been praised for its "soft and stylish" appearance that adds a touch of hotel-like elegance to any room.
Dunelm has added lots of items to its clearance section, making room for new items ahead of the upcoming autumn and winter season. One item that has lots of glowing reviews is the Hotel 200 Thread Count Check Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set.
Normally £32, they have been discounted to £22.40 in the sale, whilst stocks last. The sheets are available in three colours (white, silver and sage green), but all of the options only come in Super King size.
The bundle features a "chic check design that exudes elegance and sophistication." On the Dunelm website, it adds that shoppers could "indulge in the luxury of a 5-star hotel quality sleep with this duvet and pillowcase set" made from "soft and breathable" cotton.
People could get similar bedding elsewhere, such as the Reversible Check Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set from Next (from £15). Or, shoppers could get the OHS Check Duvet Cover Bedding Set Quilt Pillowcase from Debenhams (from £11.99).
In the reviews of Dunelm's super king Hotel 200 Thread Count Check Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set, one said: "Really nice quality bedding, feels hotel quality to sleep in. Stitching is great and washed well." Another said: "The quality is excellent – soft, breathable cotton with a lovely smooth finish that feels luxurious without being too heavy.
"Best of all, it's surprisingly easy to iron, which is a huge bonus." A third wrote: "Looks fresh and feels soft and fits my king size duvet very well."
But, not all shoppers were very pleased with what bought. One said: "Doesn't wash great and is oversized, not impressed won't be buying again."
Someone else added: "Nice duvet, but it doesn't come with the two pillow cases." It is stated on the Dunelm website the larger bedsheet set does come with two pillowcases. The single version comes with one, but this isn't available to purchase anyway.
One more shopper complained: "Good value but creases the worst I've ever seen when washed and tumble dried and takes ages to iron out the creases." However, the majority of shoppers did get a five-star-worthy experience.
A Dunelm customer said: "The crisp white look adds a fresh, hotel-style feel to the room. Would definitely recommend and will likely buy again for our guest room." And, one more added: "Great duvet set, finished off my son's bedroom brilliantly. Nice quality, soft and stylish."
