Prince Harry Is ‘Damaging' King Charles' Legacy Amid Reports the Monarch Is a ‘Sick Man'
Who's going to make the first move? Several Royal experts have weighed in on the topic of if Prince Harry will reconcile with King Charles after his bombshell BBC interview. Though Prince Harry put the offer to reconcile with his father in front of the public, there's still hesitation on Buckingham Palace's side. 'The underlying issue is trust,' Sally Bedell Smith told People. 'The King and William don't trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation.' More from StyleCaster Harry Changing His Last Name Would've Been a 'Slap in the Face' to Prince Philip-It's a 'Public Rejection' of Charles' Family 'Sick' King Charles Faces Devastating News Amid Reports He 'Refused' Chemotherapy 'There is not a good angel in his ear to say, 'Be a good dad and make the first move,'' says Valentine Low. The Royal expert also explained that if Charles did reverse the decision on the security appeal that it could 'potentially damage [Charles'] legacy.' However, Low is certain that they could separate what's left in the public and private eye. 'This is a family rift rather than a constitutional rift — it's what happens to families. Both sides have to reach a point where they realize they can't carry on as they are.'Prince Harry told the BBC that the King 'won't speak to me because of this security stuff', but that he did not want to fight anymore and did 'not know how much longer my father has'. The stakes are even higher since Charles' cancer diagnosis. 'If you have that level of breach in a family, and you are estranged, you run that risk every day of having something unfathomable to deal with,' says Catherine Mayer. A source said that Charles' health is in steady decline. 'Charles is indeed a sick man, and he does have cancer,' an insider told NewsNationNow. 'He also refused chemotherapy and decided on a less invasive treatment. While Harry and his dad aren't speaking, Harry would be aware of all of this via back channels.' However, an anonymous royal aide disclosed a positive health update for King Charles. He is dealing 'incredibly well' with cancer, per The Telegraph. 'The thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it and that's what he does. Medical science has made incredible advances and I genuinely see no difference in him. As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possible… that's exactly what he is doing.' They also revealed that the Monarch 'has dealt with his illness in a very human way, and the way he's engaging with the public at a very human level. I think we now have a clear idea of what the Carolean age looks like and what it stands for – now and hopefully for many years to come.' Woman Who Had High-Risk Pregnancy Upset In-Laws Want to See the Baby, but Haven't Once Asked About Her
A woman who went through a traumatic pregnancy says her in-laws are demanding to "see the baby" — but still haven't asked whether she's okay In a post shared to Reddit, she writes that her in-laws have "made my life a living hell" Now, she's asking the Internet if she's going too far by keeping them from the babyA woman who recently gave birth says her in-laws have been demanding to "see the baby" but have not asked about her, despite the fact that she is a cancer survivor who had a traumatic pregnancy. In a post shared to Reddit, the woman shares that she and her husband lived with his family for a time, but they "made my life a living hell." Years later, they got their own home and went no-contact after she was diagnosed with cancer and his mother made rude comments urging the husband to divorce her. When the woman got pregnant, they began speaking to her husband's family again, though she had a high-risk pregnancy and was largely bed-ridden. Six months after the baby was born, her mother-in-law sent a gift and now, 15 months after the baby was born, both the in-laws and her husband's brother want to see the child. "Not once did they ever call to check up on me, not once did they care to call and ask if there was anything they could help with," she writes. When they asked if they could see the child, the woman "refused, and an argument ensued because my baby does not like strangers, she is very startled (because she is a preemie) and will tremble with even my own family (which she sees all the time)," she writes. "And furthermore, why should I allow people access to see my daughter when they have never respected me? My husband was very upset, and I said, 'My daughter is not a pawn, no they cannot see her. No we won't be going over. If I wanted her to meet them, I would take her but I don't.' " She ends the post with a question to other Reddit users: "What would you do?" Commenters argue they would immediately turn to the husband. "I would be asking my husband why he hasn't cut ties with every single one of them for disrespecting his wife," writes one commenter. Adds another: "At this point if he wants to maintain contact with his family it should be completely separate from you and the kids." Read the original article on People

Jimmy Buffett's Widow Upset, Confused About $275M Estate Drama: He 'Never Would Have Wanted This' (Exclusive Source)
A close friend of the Buffetts tells PEOPLE that Jimmy "would never have wanted Jane to be treated like this" Jane recently filed to remove the co-trustee of Jimmy's trust, as she claims he has not done his job properly and has been "hostile" The friend says Jimmy "trusted Jane around so many of his important decisions in his life and career"The drama over Jimmy Buffett's trust continues. In light of his widow Jane filing suit against Richard Mozenter — an accountant she claims has failed in his role as co-trustee of Jimmy's trust and whom she is seeking to remove — a close friend of the Buffetts tells PEOPLE that Jane and her inner circle are upset and confused by the drama. 'Jimmy would never have wanted Jane to be treated like this,' the friend says. '[I] know how close Jimmy and Jane were all these years, and how Jimmy relied upon and trusted Jane around so many of his important decisions in his life and career.' Jimmy and Jane were married for 46 years before he died of cancer in September 2023 at age 76. According to Jane's complaint, which was filed on June 3, the "Margaritaville" singer created a series of trusts over the years 'to protect his family after his death.' He and Jane share daughters Savannah, 46, and Delaney, 33, and son Cameron, who was born in 1994. Jane's suit alleges that Mozenter — who was appointed co-trustee after Jimmy's death — has been "plainly deficient' in his role, failing to provide information as requested as well as being allegedly 'openly hostile and adversarial' toward Jane, her complaint claims. She claims that he has refused to resign despite her repeated requests. 'When you're married for over 40 years, there's a lot that couples go through, but there was always a strong bond and trust in her,' the friend says of Jane and Jimmy. 'And there's just no way that this is what he would have wanted to happen.' The friend continues, 'These have been very reasonable demands [Jane made of Mozenter]. There was a lot of patience asking for his feedback, and to still not get anything has been very upsetting. The idea that this is how someone responds to pretty basic requests is sort of inexplicable.' Mozenter did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Jane's complaint accuses Mozenter — who, along with his firm, has been paid nearly $2 million for his services — of having 'belittled, disrespected and condescended' her in response to 'reasonable requests for information she undoubtedly was entitled to receive.' Per the filing, Jimmy's trust was created more than 30 years ago for Jane's benefit. It was updated most recently in 2023, and all three of the couple's children have a one-third share of the remaining Federal estate tax exemption, worth about $2 million each. The trust indicates that upon Jimmy's death, the bulk of his assets would go to the marital trust, which was to be administered by Jane and an independent co-trustee. When Jimmy died, Mozenter assumed the responsibility of managing $275 million in assets, which the singer-songwriter had amassed to fund the marital trust. According to the filing, Jane's first meeting with Mozenter, which took place one month after Jimmy's death, allegedly yielded more questions than answers when it came to what she should expect in projected income. 'Rather than help his recently widowed client understand her finances, Mr. Mozenter spent the next 16 months stonewalling and making excuses for why he could not yet provide the requested information,' the filing claims.
