If it weren't for Cal Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners, there likely wouldn't even be a debate about who the AL MVP is right now—because Aaron Judge would already have it nearly locked up with the pace he's on.
Judge is currently batting a league-best .361, has 28 home runs (second behind Raleigh), 63 RBIs, and boasts a staggering 1.180 OPS—the highest in all of the MLB.
He's coming off a 2024 MVP campaign in which he led the Yankees to the World Series for the first time in his career. Now, he's not only on pace to win his third MVP award, but he's also secured his seventh All-Star selection and is likely to earn a fifth Silver Slugger Award by season's end.
