Missouri man killed after truck crashes in Hermitage
HICKORY COUNTY, Mo. — An 86-year-old man from Quincy, Missouri, has died following a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Hermitage.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was traveling east in a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado truck on U.S. Highway 54 just after 1 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The next of kin have been notified of his passing.
This is the 42nd fatality in MSHP Troop D in 2025.
