Emmerdale star breaks silence on Vinny and Kammy twist and confirms aftermath
Emmerdale's Shebz Miah has opened up about a recent twist in the ITV soap involving his character, Kammy Hadiq.
Last week, Kammy and new friend Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) decided to get revenge on a delivery driver. He had arrived outside The Hide and started attempting to flirt with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham). Vinny told the young man that he's engaged to Gabby, but Romeo responded with a comment that made Vinny feel insecure.
Vinny and Kammy got revenge by stealing Romeo's van and dumping it down a road. As they were chased by the police into the woods, Vinny laughed at the thrill over doing something very unlike him.
As the two mates hung out afterwards, Vinny got caught up in a moment and tried to kiss Kammy. It left the latter confused, while Vinny tried to say it was just a joke.
Opening up about this new storyline, star Shebz Miah has revealed there's a lot more to come between his character and Vinny.
'Kammy realises that there's a bigger issue at hand for Vinny, because he's been going to such extreme lengths to impress for his anniversary with Gabby, but on the other hand, he's misread the signals and has tried to kiss Kammy. So Kammy does support Vinny on this journey that they go on – and it does get quite exciting', the actor told Digital Spy.
'Kammy's so relaxed with it. He's so comfortable with himself that it doesn't affect him. The only thing that does affect him is: 'You are getting married to Gabs. You need to understand the situation'. So Kammy isn't bothered about the kiss, he more feels for Vinny. Because now it's opened up this different perspective on the relationship that Vinny has with people.
'Kammy's trying to support him on his journey. He's trying to understand and make it easier for Vinny and help him and guide him as to what is going on, because he is obviously in a position where he's not entirely sure.'
Shebz has confirmed that there isn't an awkward vibe between the two mates, due to the fact Kammy wants to be there for Vinny on this journey. More Trending
'Kammy's so relaxed. Kammy's so confident in his sexuality. It's more that he wants to offer a helping hand, because it's a very tricky situation now that Vinny's in.

'We've got Gabs on one hand, then all the other stuff in Vinny's life and how does it affect that? So it's more about Kammy trying to support him on whatever that is.'
Teasing what's ahead for the character, Shebz added: 'Unpredictability – definitely with a lot of the things happening in scenes with Vinny. But also, as we know, Kammy and Sarah were a thing and we start to see an interesting dynamic being played out.
'There's thrills and a lot of cheekiness, definitely. He loves getting up to mischief and trouble.'

Completely free streaming service rivalling Sky now available on more TVs
A streaming app that's been touted as a rival to Sky Glass will soon be available on more smart TVs. First launched in April last year, Freely is a relatively new free streaming service backed by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, and gives users the ability to stream live and on-demand TV all in one place, without paying a subscription fee. It's similar to Sky Glass, which also lets viewers tune into hundreds of live and on-demand channels via a broadband connection, rather than an aerial. Viewers can pause and rewind live TV with the app too. While Sky Glass TV owners have to pay a minimum of £26 per month for content, Freely is, as the name suggests, completely free. Sky Glass does offer premium features that viewers won't find on Freely, however, such as personalisation for each member of the family, as well as the ability to 'bookmark' favourite shows. But now it's been announced that TVs powered by technology company Roku will have Freely installed, which includes models from brands including JVC, Logik, Sharp, METZ and Polaroid. Meanwhile, Hisense, Bush, Panasonic and Toshiba already sell TVs with the Freely app. Jonathan Thompson, CEO of Everyone TV, said of the news: 'Offering freely on the Roku operating system is a major milestone for us, as we continue to expand reach for the free streaming platform. 'We're delighted that as a huge global player, Roku has recognised the importance of easy and seamless access to public service broadcast content for UK audiences and I look forward to seeing Freely smart TVs with Roku in market this summer.' Freely replicates the terrestrial TV experience of browsing through a programme guide, meaning viewers can enjoy offerings from BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Film4, 5USA, U, Dave and many more. This includes classic favourites such as Race Across the World, Downton Abbey, Derry Girls and Gogglebox. Meanwhile, popular new shows that have landed recently include Death Valley, a cosy crime drama starring Timothy Spall, season two of BBC hit drama The Gold and The Secrets She Keeps, a gripping Australian thriller now available via Channel 4. Earlier this year, Freely announced the launch of 16 new channels, including three Channel 4 channels that viewers 'won't find anywhere else'. 4Reality will feature reality TV gold like Married at First Sight, while 4Homes will offer dream homes, renovations and design inspiration with shows like Grand Designs. The channel 4Life will bring travel, food and animals to screens with shows like The Dog House. There are 11 new Channel 5 live channels that were also added, including Police Interceptors, 5 Cops and Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly. More Trending Six of these are exclusive to Freely and My5, including The Yorkshire Vet, GPs Behind Closed Doors and Milkshake. Freely has also recently launched two ITV channels called The Chase and Saturday Night Every Night, which are also available on ITVX. Akhila Khanna, ITV Director of Distribution, said at the time: 'At ITV we're proud to be part of Freely and making these channels available to the Freely TV Guide reinforces our commitment to delivering fantastic, free content through this innovative platform and showcases our continued collaboration with other leading UK broadcasters.' Fern Britton claims she was 'sacked' TV show after savage comment to producer
Fern Britton claims she was 'sacked' TV show after savage comment to producer Former This Morning presenter Fern Britton has claimed she was 'sacked' from a show after giving her honest opinion to a 'rubbish' producer behind the scenes Fern Britton has shared one particularly brutal comment a colleague made to her (Image: ITV ) This Morning veteran Fern Britton has shared her experiences of the cutthroat nature of the industry, revealing she was axed from a programme for giving candid feedback to a producer. Amid news of significant job cuts within ITV's daytime team, Fern reflected on the stressful nature of television work. Speaking to the i newspaper's 7 Days magazine, she recalled one particular incident where she was summarily sacked after challenging a producer's ideas. "I worked with a producer on a show years ago and she was giving me instructions that were utter nonsense," Fern said. "I went, 'This is rubbish. This isn't any kind of research. This is all wrong.' Within a week I was off that show." Her career has seen quite a few tough moments, including being let go after returning from maternity leave in the mid-1990s while grappling with post-natal depression. Fern was dismissed after breaking down in tears during an interview with a terminally ill cancer patient. In 2001, after welcoming her daughter Winnie, Fern faced pressure to return swiftly to her role on This Morning beside John Leslie. She was brutally told that, if she did not return to work straight away: "There's no job for you." Fern eventually departed from the morning show that she says she "loved," reportedly due to ongoing tensions with Phillip Schofield, who had stepped in as John Leslie's successor. Article continues below Fern has reinvented herself as a novelist (Image: PA ) Dismissing speculation that she left the programme due to a salary disagreement, she explained: "There was also a persistent rumour that I left because Phillip was being paid more than me and I always say to people 'Why would I leave a show to go to nothing if I was worried about money?'" Though she hasn't disclosed the precise incident that marked the end of her strained partnership with Schofield, in a conversation with Ray D'Arcy, she revealed: "Something happened and I thought, 'That's it really' and I walked away and resigned. I was treated pretty poorly, actually. And after a while I just thought, 'Sod it'." When she participated in Strictly Come Dancing, she claimed her professional dance partner Artem Chigvintsev had been physically tough with her. Fern moved permanently into her Cornish holiday home in Padstow five years ago (Image: PR HANDOUT ) Reflecting on her experiences, she said: "I remember once I burst into tears and sobbed that I wasn't enjoying it, Artem's response was, 'You're rubbish, that's why you're not enjoying it,' so I picked myself up and ploughed on." Artem denied all allegations made against him, claiming: "I treated her with respect and care." Aware of the brutally competitive nature of television, especially for those off-camera, she added: "It's harder for the people behind [the cameras] because they're having to deal with the budgets and with `upstairs'. Presenters, you've got to take it on the chin and you're lucky to be there, really". Simultaneously, she admits she can comprehend the bosses' rationale as they mandate the massive job cuts: "There are times when everything does need a reset. So maybe that's it. Maybe they're planning a reset." Fern will soon be back on TV, taking viewers inside a vet's surgery (Image: ITV ) Today, at 67, Fern is contentedly residing in Cornwall with a profitable career outside of television as a best-selling author. However, she still makes occasional appearances on screen and will soon return to ITV with a new six-part series titled Fern Britton: Inside the Vet's. Describing the programme, she stated: "Every pet has their story and every owner has theirs, so I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of this new series for ITV. Animals have always been a huge love of mine and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work the veterinary team does every day has been a privilege. Article continues below "Handing your pet over to the vet for any procedure is a worrying time. This series gives us a glimpse of what happens beyond the consulting room door, and is full of heart, fascinating stories, and, of course, plenty of adorable animals-I can't wait to share it with viewers!".

I'm 30 & have had 4 BBL's – trolls say my bum looks like a wisdom tooth but I don't care about the risks, I want curves
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A WOMAN who has had four BBLs at the age of 30 has insisted she doesn't care about the risks involved in the dangerous surgery. Scarlett is no stranger to showing off her curves on her social media pages, and appeared on ITV show This Morning to discuss her love of going under the knife. "I had that done and I thought, 'Ooh, that was nice!'" Scarlett grinned. "So then I went and had my nose done and then the BBLs started... I think five years ago I had my first one. "And then I've kind of tried to have one every year. "I did skip a year but yeah, so I've had four altogether now." Cat asked Scarlett if she was influenced by social media or the celebrity world to have her surgeries, to which she admitted that it had a big part in her choice. She also said she "doesn't want anyone on the Internet to call me fat", and added that trolls call her that "all the time". "I've had four rounds of lipo and they still call me fat, so no matter how many things I could have done, people would still have stuff to say." One such comment she often receives is about the shape of her derriere - with cruel trolls even likening it to a "wisdom tooth". Scarlett had 360 liposuction as part of the BBL - with the "purest fat" taken from her stomach, upper back, lower back, arms, legs and double chin and injected back into her bum. Katie Price reveals her 'most painful' surgery EVER - just days before getting more filler in her bum "I think the dangerous part is when they inject it back into the bum, because if they inject it into the wrong place, it can block an artery or something," she admitted. And because of the dangers involved, her family pleaded with her not to go ahead with the BBLs. "Everybody was like, 'please don't get it done, it's really dangerous'," she recalled. "But I think they probably knew I was going to get it done anyway." In terms of the dangers involved, Scarlett ended up getting "lipo burns" in her first time having the BBL. "I didn't realise that that wasn't normal," she said. What are Brazilian Butt Lifts and why are they so popular? Buttock enlargement surgery - known as a Brazilian butt-lift (BBL) - is used to make the bum look bigger, rounded and lifted. Surgeons transfer fat, inject filler or insert silicone-filled implants. It is the fastest growing cosmetic procedure but also one of the most dangerous, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). Many patients are travelling to the likes of Turkey or seeking out unregistered surgeons in the UK and are not given full information on the risks. BBLs carry the highest risk of all cosmetic surgeries - with more than one death occurring per 4,000 procedures. Due to celebrities undergoing such ops, many women are hoping to emulate their looks. Consultant clinical psychologist Dr Anu Sayal-Bennett, a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, told the BBC: "Despite there being so much about body positivity, there are pressures for women - and men too - to look a certain way." Many people travel abroad for the procedure because it is cheaper and advertising is "terribly seductive", combined with the idea of a beach holiday, added Dr Sayal-Bennett. "They healed ok, there's just some little scars and stuff. "At the end of the day, I knew the risks going in and I thought it was normal." Scarlett, who also spoke about her surgery on Oliva Attwood's show The Price of Perfection, added that she decided to have all of her surgeries abroad because they were willing to give her a more "extreme" look than anyone in the UK. "I didn't even look at any surgeons in the UK," she admitted. But due to being abroad, things were done slightly differently in the UK - in that she didn't meet her surgeon until the day of her op, and had been sending photos of herself online up until that point. Asked by Ben and Cat if she's happy with the way she looks now, Scarlett replied: "I'm definitely satisfied, and that was my last round!" However, she then clarified that she would be having any surgery for a "long time" - but would never say never.
