'In case any candidate faces any difficulty in downloading the admit card for NCHM JEE 2025 he/she can contact NTA helpdesk on 011-40759000 or send an e-mail at nchm@nta.ac.in,' reads the notification.

NCHM JEE 2025 will be conducted on April 27, 2025, from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. The question paper will be bilingual i.e., Hindi and English. The examination is held for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc. HHA) across the Country for 2025- 26 academic session.

Changing to an English-medium institution after class 8 was definitely a challenge, but Anurag was still determined to work hard. Pursuing class 12 came with many hurdles. Initially, he failed the maths pre-board in class 12. Yet he did not give up. He took it as a challenge. He did not have another option but to tackle the final exams. He recommitted himself to the final exams. He prioritized, worked hard, and persevered, and was rewarded with great results. He scored over 90% in his final board exams. What rank did he secure and which IAS cadre did he join? Anurag Kumar graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). He met obstacles including struggle and failing in many subjects during graduation but once he reinvested in himself he graduated again and pursued a postgraduate/graduate course.

91-year-old government school in Kendrapara functions with only three students, as many teachers
KENDRAPARA: A 91-year-old government primary school in Kendrapara district is reportedly running with only three students and as many teachers. Established in 1934 at Badahat village in Kendrapara town, the school currently has two students in Class III and one in Class II. Three teachers - Priyambada Sundaray, Susanta Kumar Sahoo and Sayed Mohammad Khalid - attend the school daily to ensure uninterrupted education for these children. Local resident Dhirendra Kumar Das said earlier, the school had a healthy number of students. Over the years, the enrolment of students declined due to establishment of English medium schools at various places in the town. Parents and guardians are now preferring to send their children to these schools. Khalid said, 'Last month, I joined the school and felt very strange because there are only three students. The rest children of the village and nearby areas study in private schools. In fact, we have highly-qualified teachers. Efforts are being made to encourage parents to enrol their children in our school.' Sahoo said he along with other two teachers is visiting houses in the village to convince parents to send their kids to the government school. All facilities are available here but villagers prefer private English-medium schools. Sundaray said a few years back, the school had around 30 to 40 students. But now, only three children are studying here. As a result, the administration is planning to close the school. District education officer Pabitra Mohan Barik said the school will soon be closed and merged with another institution. 'Following government guidelines, schools with less than 20 students will be merged for better use of resources, efficiency and improve the quality of education,' he added. Anada Prasad Das (63), a lawyer of Kendrapara, said he, his father and three siblings studied in the Badahat government primary school. 'I have a strong bond with this school. It pains me to know that this school will be closed due to dearth of students,' he said.

For principal Bijayalaxmi Nanda, the award is a reflection of collective spirit. 'We are proud, but we have to strive every day for this. There is no resting on laurels. Miranda House follows sustainable norms rigorously, whether it is through regular audits by the student union, swift resolution of issues by our administrative staff and NSS, or initiatives led by MH Vatavaran, our environment society. From recycling and composting to our garden committee's upkeep, everyone is equally invested. For Vatavaran, the environment society, the honour is particularly heartwarming. 'This award feels like a real pat on the back. We've been working on paper recycling, composting biodegradable waste, rainwater harvesting, and maintaining a herbal garden. To see those small efforts bloom into something this big is incredible.
