BGMI 3.9 Update features
One of the biggest changes coming with BGMI 3.9 update is the Transformers themed mode. Announcing the change, the company said 'Transformers bots have arrived in BGMI. Dominate the Battlegrounds with Optimus Prime and Megatron, and blast your enemies with powerful attacks. It's power, style, and destruction in a package that's More than Meets the Eye.'
With the latest update, players can collect Energon to unlock Optimus Prime or Megatron, each featuring unique abilities and transformation features. A Duel Zone activates when both characters are in play, triggering a mandatory face-off between the two.
The update also introduces Anti-Gravity Spires — floating towers that allow players to launch into the air and redeploy quickly, improving map mobility. Themed items like the Cosmic Hoverboard, Starry Exhaust, and Bonk Bonk Hammer are now available as part of the crossover content.
In Classic Mode, a new weapon called the ASM Abakan has been added. This 5.56mm assault rifle offers full-auto, burst, and single-shot modes, and is designed for better accuracy in early rounds.

I just can't wrap my head around this,' he shared in an interview with The Indian Express. Rai said, 'I don't get it, how can they do this? It's an ending people have loved! If not the filmmaker, at least listen to the audience.' He further criticised the need for a so-called 'happy ending'. 'What is a happy ending? It's a tragedy, that's an emotion. How can you meddle with emotions? The voice of the film lies in that ending,' he added. Rai believes that they are trying to test the market in Tamil Nadu with it, and they might have paid them some money already. He called it a crime and admitted that his hero (Dhanush) has a strong presence there, which may affect his stardom. Rai feels the studio is prioritising quick profits over creative integrity. 'They'll realise it soon, when the actors and the audience get back to them. No actors would want to work with them now. Maybe they don't want to work with actors anymore. They plan to make films with AI only,' he shared. Aanand is not against the use of AI He further clarified that he is not against the use of AI, but changing the past using the technology sounds ridiculous to him. 'Next thing we know, they may change the climax of Sholay (1975) by keeping both Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra) alive,' he concluded.
