All About Justin and Hailey Bieber's 'Miracle' Baby Jack Blues Bieber
Justin and Hailey Bieber welcomed their first child together in August 2024.
The baby was named Jack Blues Bieber in keeping with a Bieber family tradition to have the initials "JB."
His arrival caused a "total shift" in Justin and Hailey's relationship.Justin and Hailey Bieber are the proud new parents of their firstborn son, Jack Blues Bieber. The couple welcomed their "miracle" baby in August 2024 and have basically been in the honeymoon phase with their son ever since.
"The pregnancy was something that they very much wished and prayed for. The day they found out that Hailey was pregnant, was the best ever for Justin," an insider previously told People. "He was over the moon with excitement. It was a big celebration for them."
Hailey Bieber has since celebrated her first Mother's Day as a mom, calling parenthood the "wildest, coolest thing I've ever done." Oh, and since welcoming Jack, she's somehow found time to ink a billion dollar deal for E.l.f. Beauty to acquire her viral skincare brand, rhode.
Still, the model illuminated some of her fears around parenting in the limelight during an interview with The Sunday Times. "It's enough that people say things about my husband or my friends," she told the publication. "I can't imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.' That said, 'We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.'
Ahead, everything the model and her pop star husband have shared so far about their baby boy, Jack Blues Bieber.
The model did not reveal she was expecting until she was already six months pregnant. A source later explained their reasoning in an interview with People.
'They've felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out,' the insider said at the time. 'It was important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed [it].'
The couple did tell their close friends and family, however, and simply asked them "not share until they were ready to announce."
Following the announcement, the rhode founder took her style cues from fellow celebrity mom Rihanna. Hailey actually referenced the "Umbrella" singer's pregnancy looks long before she herself was expecting, back in 2022.
"[Rihanna] was the most gorgeous, hottest pregnant woman I've ever seen," Hailey told W Magazine. "And I think I'll only know when that time comes, but yeah," she said, "I definitely don't want to feel like I have to sacrifice my style when being pregnant. My style is something that's really important to me."
New dad Justin announced his son's arrival on Instagram, writing, "WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻." A source later told People that the couple was "overjoyed."
"The baby is such a miracle. He's adorable and doing well," the insider said, adding, "Hailey's doing well, too."
Though the couple did not reveal Jack's exact birthdate, fellow model mom Adwoa Aboah later let it slip that their babies were born "a day apart." Fans now believe that Jack was born on August 22.
The name Jack Blues Bieber is sentimental for a number of reasons: Jack is the middle name of Justin's dad, Jeremy Bieber, and with the initials "JB," baby Jack is following in the footsteps of both Justin and his grandfather, as well as his aunt and uncle Jazmyn and Jaxon with his very own "JB" name.
Roughly nine months after Jack's arrival, Hailey opened up about her birth story in an interview with Vogue. The beauty mogul revealed that she had suffered from life-threatening postpartum complications.
'That shit was so crazy. That was not fun. They broke my water. I went into labor and I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing,' Bieber said about her 18-hour labor. However, things took a turn for the worse after Jack's arrival when doctors were unable to stop her bleeding and she had a postpartum hemorrhage.
Despite trusting her doctor 'with [her] life,' the model said her concerns escalated when the medical staff tried unsuccessfully to staunch her bleeding. Admitting she was starting to 'get a little freaked out,' Bieber shared, 'I had peace that I knew [my doctor] would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind.'
Setting aside those stubborn divorce rumors, adding a new baby to the mix was apparently just what the doctor ordered for the husband and wife duo. 'There has been a total shift in their marriage since renewing their vows [in May 2024] and welcoming baby Jack,' a source told Us Weekly a few months after Jack's arrival. 'He's truly brought them so much happiness and a renewed bond.'
Given that Justin is a major hockey fan, perhaps it will come as no surprise that the "Never Say Never" singer wants to share the sport with his son. At a charity hockey game benefitting victims of the L.A. wildfires, Justin told reporters that he would teach Jack to skate "as soon as possible," jokingly adding "it's never too early," per People.

Coldplay's Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson call it quits after nearly 8 years
If Coldplay 's rendition of 'Fix You' sounded especially mournful during the band's recent concerts at Stanford Stadium, it may be because frontman Chris Martin has officially parted ways with actress Dakota Johnson. In what appears to be a definitive end to one of Hollywood's more quietly enduring romances, the 48-year-old Coldplay singer and the 35-year-old 'Fifty Shades of Grey' star have split after nearly eight years of an on-and-off relationship, according to People. Martin and Johnson, who began dating in 2017, were last seen together in mid-May in Malibu, where they had shared a home since 2021. Despite that recent outing, sources told People the breakup 'feels final this time.' Representatives for the pair have not commented. The couple largely kept their relationship private, though it was occasionally illuminated by moments of public affection — most memorably in 2021, when Martin gave Johnson an onstage shoutout during a London concert. 'This is about my universe, and she's here,' he said, gesturing to Johnson before launching into Coldplay's BTS collaboration, 'My Universe.' Johnson, who partially grew up in San Francisco, previously shared that the couple enjoyed being homebodies. 'We've been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it's nice to be at home and be cozy and private,' Johnson told Elle UK in 2021. 'Most of the partying takes place inside my house.' She also spoke warmly about Martin's two children, 21-year-old daughter Apple and 19-year-old son Moses, with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. In March, sources confirmed to People that the couple had been secretly engaged for years. Yet despite their long-running commitment, the relationship has now ended, just as Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour continues to fill stadiums worldwide and Johnson prepares for the release of her upcoming film, 'Materialists,' on June 13.

Thanks To Kate Moss, Your Fantasy Festival Wardrobe Is Now Within Reach
Among the thousands of famous photographs of Kate Moss, there's one that has come to be emblematic of several things at once: a sybaritic British summer, the early noughties boho aesthetic, the dawn of festival fashion, the supermodel's own inimitable style. She's walking through a field at Glastonbury in 2003, wearing a pale pink tunic dress with black fringed moccasin boots, a printed silk scarf knotted around her hips and her face semi-obscured by a combination of sunglasses and a curtain of dirty-blonde hair. 'I went to get some breakfast on my own,' Moss recalls of this Glasto outing. Jon Furniss The look pre-dated Instagram and influencers, and yet it had the sort of impact today's young tastemakers could scarcely dream of. Some 22 years on, now that festival wardrobes are curated with military precision and documented ad nauseam online, it's interesting to contemplate exactly how much thought went into Kate's oft-emulated outfit. Not a lot, it turns out. 'Planned outfits never work for me,' says Moss with a shrug. 'I don't do that.' She couldn't have known the clothes she threw together that year would ultimately become a sort of cultural touchstone, but she did get some inkling of the stir she'd created over the course of the weekend. 'I went to get some breakfast on my own, and there was one photographer,' she remembers of that morning outing in her pink dress. 'It wasn't a paparazzi-fest then.' The next day, a friend told her she'd made the papers. 'We'd gone to see Chas & Dave and he told me: 'You're on the cover of The Sunday Times,'' she says with her signature cackle. 'I was like, 'Don't be stupid!''

Halle Bailey And DDG Custody Battle, Explained
The custody battle between singer and actress Halle Bailey and her ex-boyfriend, the rapper DDG, has heated up as DDG asked a judge to block Bailey from taking their infant son with her to Italy, alleging she poses a risk to their son's safety because she has previously threatened self-harm. DDG requested a restraining order against Bailey in Los Angeles court on Wednesday and asked a judge to block her from taking Halo, their 17-month-old son, to Italy with her, alleging Bailey would pose 'imminent emotional and psychological risk to the minor child based on repeated, documented threats of self-harm.' DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., alleged in court filings Bailey once took his firearm and left their house while threatening to harm herself, stating she 'environment of emotional distress and danger within the home,' and his filings contain text messages appearing to show Bailey threatening self-harm, Billboard reported. Bailey, 25, and DDG, 27, have been locked in a custody battle over their son since Bailey filed a restraining order against him in May, accusing him of physical and verbal abuse, including an alleged incident in which he slammed her face on a steering wheel in front of their son. Bailey also alleged DDG has riled up his fans to send online hate to Bailey by accusing her of keeping their son from him on his livestreams, and she detailed another incident in which she filed a police report after DDG allegedly threw her phone from a car window. A judge granted Bailey temporary custody of their son in May. The couple split in October 2024 after nearly three years of dating, at the time stating they were 'still best friends' and planned to co-parent their son. Forbes has reached out to lawyers representing both Bailey and DDG for comment. Bailey is slated to depart for Italy to film a movie for two months on June 7, Billboard reported, and a judge is expected to rule on whether she will be allowed to bring her son. The court also set June 24 as the date for a hearing on Bailey and DDG's restraining orders against one another. Bailey and DDG began dating in January 2022, though they did not publicly acknowledge their relationship on social media until March of that year. Bailey gave birth to their son in December 2023, announcing his birth in an Instagram post the following month. Bailey had largely kept her pregnancy a secret despite fan speculation, stating months after her child's birth at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood ceremony she 'had no obligation to expose him, me or my family to that unyielding spotlight.' DDG first started his career in entertainment as a YouTube content creator, posting vlogs and prank videos. He dropped out of college in 2016, stating he made more money from his YouTube careers, after which he started releasing music. He has since released four albums, including his only charting hit in the United States, "Moonwalking in Calabasas,' and he has collaborated with artists including Lil Yachty, Gunna and DaBaby. He maintains active profiles on YouTube and streaming platform Twitch, where he has 3.6 million subscribers and 1.6 million followers, respectively. Bailey first rose to fame as one half of Chloe x Halle, a singing duo with her older sister, Chloe Bailey. The two first garnered attention for singing Beyoncé songs on their YouTube channel, racking up more than 22 million views on a cover of her song 'Pretty Hurts' in 2013. Bailey and her sister have been considered protégés of Beyoncé, whose company Parkwood Entertainment signed them for a six-album deal in 2016. Chloe x Halle have released two studio albums, 'The Kids Are Alright' in 2018 and 'Ungodly Hour' in 2020, though they have since pursued solo careers. Halle Bailey achieved wider recognition for a series of high-profile acting roles, including the lead role in 'The Little Mermaid' live-action remake and a supporting role in 'The Color Purple,' in 2023. Her role in the former film made her the target of racist backlash from critics who felt the casting of a Black Ariel was unfaithful to the original animated film, prompting Disney to defend her and Bailey to say it is important for her to 'represent all of these little young Black and brown boys and girls.'
