The makers have unveiled an all-new trailer for the upcoming installment of the drama series, featuring key players at UBA, which is now called UBN post the merger in Season 3, competing and backstabbing each other, Variety reported. Starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Greta Lee, the show has been a major hit for Apple TV+, which came out in 2019. Now, six years later, the star cast of The Morning Show continues to grow as the makers have roped in Oscar winners Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons. The storyline for the fourth season opens nearly two years after the events of Season 3, where fans got to witness the UBA-NBN merger. The nearly two-and-a-half-minute trailer begins with Bradley (Witherspoon) stating that she is a "firm believer in second chances." While speaking at a press conference, Alex (Aniston) soon added, 'This is so recent: the different company, the different culture'. Illusions surrounding the honesty that The Morning Show was known for soon get shattered as Celine, an executive played by Marion Cotillard, states, 'It's a nice idea. But it's not sexy'. Later on, it is revealed that Bradley is working hard to uncover a secret that will go on to expose various wrongdoings at UBA. In the fourth season, it appears to be a cover-up of multiple environmental violations, which have severely impacted people. As Alex talks about "shutting the story down,' Bradley soon replies that she will continue with it even if others "like it or not". This is followed by the scene that made headlines last year, where black paint is thrown on Alex at a protest site. In 2024, multiple photographs of Aniston shooting this scene were widely circulated by fans on social media, with some suggesting that it could be from a real protest. However, it was later clarified that she was filming for the show. In the trailer, she even comes across her former partner, Paul (Jon Hamm). During the third installment, she thwarted his plans to take control of the network. Towards the end, fans get to witness Bradley and Cory holding each other as they smile at each other on a rooftop. Speaking on fellow comedian Mike Birbiglia's podcast, the 47-year-old star said Tesla CEO Elon Musk was not a fan of the way the show depicted startup culture. What Nanjiani revealed On the podcast, Birbiglia asked Nanjiani if he ever met the Silicon Valley giants his show often poked fun at. Nanjiani replied that he had met Musk and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, among others. But when it came to Musk's reaction, Nanjiani said, 'He didn't like the show.' Vivek Agnihotri Alleges "Top Authorities" Tried To Block The Bengal Files Trailer: "Not Possible Without Permission"
New Delhi: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took a dig at the Mamata government over the ruckus at the trailer launch of his upcoming movie The Bengal Files in Kolkata, alleging that it was "already planned," and that no event of this scale, with 150-200 people and media present, could be halted without "official involvement". The incident, which took place at the ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata on August 16, 2025, saw the screening of the film's trailer abruptly stopped. While speaking to ANI, Agnihotri shared that the trailer launch program was running smoothly before the visuals on a large LED screen were suddenly stopped. He stated that it was impossible for an event happening in "one of India's biggest five-star hotels," with "150-200 people" and media present, to be halted without official involvement. The director also said that he was informed that "top authorities" had raised objections to certain parts of the trailer, and hence, it could not be played. "In one of India's biggest five-star hotels, imagine there is such a big LED screen, the whole program is running, the visuals are playing. And the entire media of Kolkata, 150-200 people, are sitting and running the program. Is it possible to do this without permission? It is not possible," the filmmaker told ANI. "Look, governments in India have so many loopholes, and the government has so many powers. They can take anything out whenever they happened was a man came and cut the was already planned." "I made a mistake. Many people were writing that they wouldn't let me stay here. The multiplex where we were planning to hold the event was cancelled. As soon as I landed at the airport, I found out that it was cancelled. We contacted another multiplex, and it was cancelled, too. They said that they wouldn't be able to survive politically if they showed the trailer here," he further said. "So, this happened with the hotel. Same thing. I asked them, 'Who has refused?' They said, 'Top authorities.' That same reliable source then told me that they had a problem with a couple of things in the trailer, and that's why it was stopped," Agnihotri added. When asked if he believes the film will release in Bengal, the filmmaker said he hopes the government will not "take away the rights of their own people." But if the release is blocked, Agnihotri said he trusts the "Constitution of India and the law of India," and would fight for the film's release if needed. "I hope God gives them wisdom. And that they don't do such foolish things where they take away the rights of their own people. They shouldn't do that," said the filmmaker. But if that happens, then I will say that I have a lot of faith in the Constitution of India and the law of India. And I will fight for it." The film explores the communal violence in undivided Bengal during the 1940s, including events like the 1946 Direct Action Day and the Noakhali riots of 1946, a Hindu genocide.
