The survey of 2,000 adults indicated that around five hours are dedicated to watching videos, with 5.4 hours spent on other online activities.
Primary online activities include browsing (79%), paying bills (77%), online shopping (72%), and doom scrolling on social media (73%), with significantly less time allocated to work or school.
Over half (55%) of respondents prefer streaming videos on a television, while more than 40% favor using their phone for general online tasks.
The findings highlight the crucial importance of robust, affordable, and dependable internet in modern life, despite some prior research suggesting even higher online usage.
