
Man charged with attempted stabbing in Bridgewater, N.S.
Bridgewater Police Services responded to a call around 10:40 p.m. on Saturday night to reports of a male attempting to stab another male, a news release said.
Police say no injuries were sustained due to the reported incident.
Police later located and arrested a male matching a description given to police in a room at the Bridgewater Motel.
The weapon was also found in the room after police executed a search warrant.
Brandon Goodwin was charged with:
Assault with a weapon
Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace
Goodwin was remanded into custody and scheduled to appear in Bridgewater provincial court on Monday.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the attempted stabbing to contact Bridgewater Police Services at 902-543-2464.
