
Elan Valley Mini Cooper theft being investigated by police
Dyfed Powys Police said a blue Mini Cooper Countryman was stolen sometime between 9am and 12pm on Sunday, May 18, from a car park at one of the reservoirs in the Elan Valley.
'Officers are investigating the theft of a blue Mini Cooper Countryman, that occurred sometime between 9am and 12pm on Sunday, May 18,' said the force in a statement.
'The car, registration LT62 YAX, was reported to be parked in a small car park north of the Elan Valley reservoir.'
The car is believed to have been taken from a car park near the Graig Goch dam.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone with information that could help them with their investigation to report it.

Tragedy as body found at bottom of cliffs near UK seaside village
A BODY has tragically been found at the bottom of cliffs near a popular seaside village. Emergency services scrambled to the scene after witnesses reported that a person had gone over the edge of a cliff at Aberporth, West Wales, this morning. A Cardigan RNLI lifeboat was summoned just before 10.30am and a body was sadly found lying on rocks at the base of cliffs. Dyfed-Powys Police cordoned off a section of the cliff path near Bryn Seion car park after the tragic discovery. The Wales NHS Ambulance personnel and HM Coastguard were also in attendance at the scene. Coastguards then confirmed that a body had been recovered by a Cardigan lifeboat. The person has not been identified by police but an inquest is due to be held. Aberporth is a popular recreational fishing village with a population of over 2,000. It is about six miles north of Cardigan, West Wales. 1

Myherin forest illegal rave shut down by police

Man dies after being hit by motorcycle in Llanelli
A man has died after being struck by a motorcycle as he walked through Llanelli town Police said it received reports of a serious incident involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian at about 21:55 BST on man, who was walking near a Home Bargains store on Station Road, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody.
