RIYADH: King Salman of Saudi Arabia received a message from Liberian President Joseph Boakai on Wednesday. The spoken communication focused on relations between their countries and ways in which cooperation might be strengthened, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Liberia's foreign minister, Sara Beysolow Nyant, delivered the message for the king to the Saudi deputy foreign minister, Waleed Al-Khuraiji, in Riyadh. During their meeting they discussed regional and international issues of common interest, the SPA added.

This is in line with the directives of Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman as part of efforts by security bodies and government agencies to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims. Al-Ruwaili began his field tour by inspecting the Air Forces group at Arafat Airport. He concluded his field tour by reviewing the participating units at the duty force field at Al-Maghmas, where he was briefed on the approved operational and organizational plans to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims during their travels and the performance of their rituals. The Air Force provides advanced air support, including surveillance, reconnaissance, and securing the airspace over the holy sites. The Naval Forces participate in securing seaports, dealing with suspicious materials, and supporting rescue efforts through diving teams, in addition to contributing specialized infantry and drone units. Regarding health services, the Ministry of Defense is implementing an integrated medical plan that includes the operation of 36 health centers with a capacity of more than 1,040 beds, supported by a mission of over 1,790 health and administrative personnel distributed across hospitals and field clinics in the holy sites.

While in Saudi Arabia, the US President praised the leadership of the Saudi Crown Prince, describing him as an 'incredible man' that has turned Riyadh into a major business, cultural and high-tech capital of the entire world. Saudi Gazette report KUWAIT — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan attended the164th Ministerial Council meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in Kuwait on Monday. The meeting discussed the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the situation in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing efforts in addressing it. The meeting reviewed the progress of joint Gulf action and explored ways to enhance and develop it. Discussions also included reports on the implementation of decisions from the 45th GCC Summit, held in Kuwait in December 2024, as well as memoranda and reports submitted by various ministerial and technical committees and the General Secretariat.
