News1823-04-2025

Roadies XX contestant Nishi Tanwar opened up about not receiving enough support from her gang leader, Prince Narula.
Roadies XX: Double Cross has kept fans hooked with its intense rivalries and high-stakes competition. Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the latest season features a powerhouse panel of gang leaders, including Prince Narula, Elvish Yadav, Neha Dhupia, Rhea Chakraborty, and Gautam Gulati. However, the journey recently came to an end for Nishi Tanwar, a contestant from Prince Narula's gang. Following her elimination, Nishi opened up in an interview with The Times of India, expressing disappointment over the lack of support from her gang leader and teammates.
She went on to allege gender bias in the show's format this year. 'This year's season was solely made for the male participants and not for the female contestants. May it be the task or the tasks or the gang leader's priority, it was always the men who were seen to be given the preferences."
She further showed her disappointment with the makers, saying, 'I wasn't quite happy with it, and it made me wonder why they even call the female contestants in the show. They should make a show with only the men, and then enjoy it. I was quite disappointed with this."
Nishi revealed that she had a lot of respect for Prince when she entered the show. 'He was someone she looked up to — not just as a gang leader but as someone who had made his mark through sheer hard work. But somewhere along the way, things changed. I didn't get enough priority from him or my gang. While things with other gang leaders are good, it's still bitter with him. Things ended on a bad note, and the bitterness remains," she added.
However, despite her short journey, she is grateful to be a part of Roadies. Nishi said, 'Roadies is not just a game of strength — it's also a test of character. I made some amazing friends, learned so much about myself, and discovered how strong I really am. That's what I'm taking back with me."

Exclusive – Roadies XX: Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu opens up about his bond with Elvish Yadav; says, 'He's like a brother to me'

Stunt-based show Roadies XX has come to an end with Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu winning the show. He won the show along with his gang leader Elvish Yadav, who made a debut this season. In an exclusive interview with Times of India TV, Kushal opened up about his bond with Elvish Yadav. Kushal won the reality show, with Hartaaj being the first runner-up. He won the show with a difference of 32 seconds. Gullu recently opened up about his bond with Elvish Yadav, marriage rumours, and much more. Talking about his bond with Elvish Yadav, he shared, 'I've a very close bond with him. He always prioritised me no matter what. Bond with him is great, and he's like a brother to me. I'm glad to have gone in his gang. When I left gang Gautam to be in Elvish's gang, everyone questioned me, but I know I did the right thing.' He then opened up about Elvish's controversy with Prince and said, 'Yes, I've heard about the controversy, and I feel like both of them are gang leaders, and hence it's important to respect them both. However, if I've to choose, everyone knows whose side I'll be on. I'm very close to Elvish bhai, and I'll support him always.' He further opened up about his journey and shared, 'My journey wasn't as easy as it seemed to everyone. I first got evicted because of my own gang member Hartaaj. Later, I came as a wildcard and gave my best. I didn't know I'd be standing in the finale with Hartaaj. It was about my and Elvish bhai's self-respect at that point, and I had to win it for him.' Elvish also spoke about his journey in an exclusive interview with TOI TV and mentioned, 'My journey as a gang leader on Roadies XX was amazing. Initially, I didn't know what to do or how to play, but my fellow gang leaders helped me, and I learnt a lot from them. I came on the show only for the love of the audience and didn't expect to win. However, now that I've won, it feels amazing.' Get the latest lifestyle updates on Times of India, along with Father's Day wishes , messages , and quotes !
