Experts reveal the 'unethical' travel hack that could ruin your honeymoon - and how to secure a legitimate upgrade for FREE
Marriage might have its perks, but the honeymoon is a distinctly special occasion - marking the moment couples begin a new chapter after tying the knot. And let's be honest, the freebies and room upgrades aren't bad either. Honeymoons, especially those spent at a luxury hotel in a dreamy destination, can be especially sweet: think complimentary welcome drinks, chocolates, fresh flowers, room service vouchers, and even the chance of a surprise upgrade. But after months - or even years - of stressful wedding planning, getting the relaxing experience you deserve might be trickier than expected. As wedding season kicks into full swing, Google searches for 'honeymoon upgrade' have surged by 195 per cent in the past three months - but for legitimate newlyweds, this could open the door to disappointment. A controversial trend has emerged on social media encouraging travellers to fake their honeymoon for free upgrades, such as free drinks, a better room, or room service vouchers. One content creator, known as @ on TikTok, recently went viral for uploaded a video in which he shared his 'unethical travel hack'. Urging viewers to 'fake a honeymoon at check-in,' he added: 'You'd be surprised how many upgrades, free drinks, or room service vouchers you can score with a simple, "It's our honeymoon!"' Many expressed enthusiasm for the hack in the comments, as one viewer said, 'I'll have to try this out, sounds like a great idea!' while another wrote, 'Did this and got a nicer room and cakes and wine on arrival, worth it.' Others explained how this could cause issues for other travellers. One warned: 'As a receptionist: if you are on a REAL honeymoon and don't get special attention, you can say thank you to all these liars who try every other day.' A hospitality worker revealed hotel staff are now cracking down on fraudsters and establishments are tightening their policies, adding: 'Maybe that's why our resort required a copy of the marriage license for their free honeymoon package.' Thankfully, travel experts at Travel Republic have shared their top three tips for getting a real upgrade on your honeymoon this summer. Before you even book, they advised discussing honeymoon deals with your travel agent or hotel. Many places offer special discounts, packages, or perks to newlyweds if you flag it in advance - and you might even save money on your whole trip. If you're hoping to mention your honeymoon at check-in, be prepared with proof. A marriage certificate, a recent name-change on your passport, or even a wedding photo can help show your marriage is well and truly the real deal. Lastly, it's true what they say: 'If you don't ask, you don't get.' A polite request can go a long way - just don't assume you're entitled to anything. Not all hotels or resorts offer upgrades, and they may be subject to availability, so it's wise to pre-book any must-do experiences ahead of time.

Inside Malcolm In The Middle star's very un-Hollywood move as he's replaced in reboot after ditching fame
Malcolm in the Middle actor Erik Per Sullivan is headed to Harvard University, according to his TV dad Bryan Cranston. 'He's actually going to Harvard,' Cranston, 69, opened up to the Fly on the Wall podcast while speaking about the revival of the Fox series on Disney+ for four episodes. The actor, who played Hal Wilkerson on the series, told hosts Dana Carvey and David Spade that Erik, 33, was 'the only one who didn't come back to act in the show. 'I talked to Erik and I said, "Hey, we got the show! It's going to come back,'" said Cranston. 'He goes, "Oh, that's fantastic!" He added: 'And I go, "Yeah, so we're looking forward to having you back." He goes, "Oh, no, no, I don't want to do it. But it's fantastic."' Erik, a native of Worcester, Massachusetts, played the role of Dewey Wilkerson on Malcolm in the Middle over 151 episodes from 2000–2006. Cranston said of Erik: 'He's really, really smart, and he's getting his master's at Harvard right now. Cranston said Erik told him he'd been out of the Hollywood loop for decades. He said, 'Oh God, no, I haven't acted since I was 9 or something. So I'm not into it.' He previously attended the University of Southern California from 2009–2010. Cranston said he was astounded digesting the passage of time in reuniting on the set of the series. 'It's amazing how these boys who were my boys on that show are now around the same age I was when we first started, and they've got children of their own,' said Cranston. Other members of the cast of the series slated to return for the revival include Frankie Muniz, Justin Berfield, Christopher Masterson and Jane Kaczmarek. Cranston went onto play the iconic role of Walter White on Breaking Bad in the years following his time on the family comedy.

Kylie Kelce left disturbed by Eagles fan's revolting tattoo of husband Jason in the nude
Kylie Kelce was left disturbed by an Eagles fan's revolting tattoo of her NFL legend husband Jason Kelce, where a team logo is in place of the lineman's manhood and the behemoth is in the nude. Joseph Moreira works at Pale Horse Tattoo Studio in Philadelphia and posted the tattoo from a female client's arm on TikTok, which has since gone viral. In the tattoo, Jason is seen wearing cleats, knee pads, elbow pads, and his wrists are taped. Everything else is exposed with the future Hall of Famer in the buff. 'Excuse me???' Kylie commented on the TikTok, possibly in hopes of the couple's three daughters not seeing the imagery. 'I'm not sure if I should be offended or flattered. I think it's more flattered, it's a generous bird, good sized head,' Jason added on social media. Moreira told the idea for the tattoo started as a bet with a fan of one of Philadelphia's arch rivals. The post of Jason inked in the nude has gone viral, with both Kylie and Jason commenting on it 'My client came to me for this traditional Jason Kelce tattoo. She's a Giants fan and was betting against the Eagles,' Moreira said. 'Part of the bet was if the Giants lost the game, she would get this Jason Kelce pin-up tattoo.' 'She told me the idea and that's the design I came up with. Even though the Giants lost, she was excited to get the piece and it's honestly one of my favorites.' The video has been viewed more than 500,000 times since it was posted. 'I was going to say strong beak!' fellow retired NFL offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth said of the ink. Jason and Kylie have four daughters, 5-year-old Wyatt, Elliotte, 4, 2-year-old Bennett, and Finnley, who was born two months ago.
