Germany Star Insists Inter Milan '100% Believe' They Can Win The Serie A Title Over Napoli

Inter Milan find themselves at a slightly odd juncture of their season.
The Nerazzurri are only three points behind Napoli at the top of the Serie A table. However, there are just three matches left to go.
That means that Inter know full well that their fate is not in their own hands as far as their Serie A title defense. There is every chance Napoli won't drop more than a couple points.
However, it is hardly a foregone conclusion that the Partenopei will enjoy a flawless end to the season.
Even though Napoli have not had the distraction of the Champions League to deal with like Inter, they will still be feeling the mental and physical fatigue from the long season.

Inter defender Yann Bisseck gave his thoughts ahead of this evening's match against Torino. It is Inter's third-last match of the campaign.

Asked if Inter believe the title is still possible, the German replied '100%.'
'Otherwise, why would we bother playing today?' Bisseck made clear.
'We're not in the best position right now,' he admitted. 'Because we have to watch what Napoli do.'
'But we still want to do what we can,' Bisseck insisted.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old gave his thoughts on 'resetting' after the Champions League heroics against Barcelona in midweek.
'Football is always like this,' he said. 'There's always another match.'
'We were very happy after Tuesday,' Yann Bisseck added. 'We had a day off, but then we started to prepare for this match.'

Report – Inter Milan Out Of The Race For Ex Real Madrid Starlet After Fabregas Pursuit Fails

Report – Inter Milan Out Of The Race For Ex Real Madrid Starlet After Fabregas Pursuit Fails Inter Milan are out of the race to sign Como midfielder Nico Paz after failing to lure Cesc Fabregas as their new coach. This according to today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. Advertisement It is certainly no secret that Inter Milan are extremely keen to sign midfielder Nico Paz. The Argentine's explosion in form with Como this past season has long marked him out as a target for the Nerazzurri. That had been the case when Simone Inzaghi was Inter coach. The Nerazzurri viewed Paz as a player who could play in midfield in Inzaghi's 3-5-2 system. Then, as Inter reportedly chased Cesc Fabregas as coach, the links to the Como midfielder looked very natural. Major Update Emerges on Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo Possibly Teaming Up

Major Update Emerges on Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo Possibly Teaming Up originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There likely isn't a rivalry across sports that was as iconic as Lionel Messi during his time with FC Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo during his tenure with Real Madrid. Advertisement Two of the best players in the world routinely competing against one another for clubs who happen to hated rivals. Between the two of them they have 13 Ballon d'Or awards, nine Champions League trophies, thousands of goals and a debate regarding who is better that may never be settled. While it's been multiple years since they have faced off against one another, the possibility surfaced as CBS Sports reported that there has been a push for Ronaldo to play in the Club World Cup. The 32-club tournament is set to take place in the United States from June 14-July 13, and is the first rendition of the FIFA tournament. With Ronaldo's contract at Al-Nassr expiring at the end of June and him cryptically writing, "This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all." on X, many have begun to wonder where he will end up. With CBS reporting that multiple Brazilian clubs could be an option, the MLS' Inter Miami is also partcipating. The thought of Ronaldo and Messi going from rivals to teammates as their careers wind down would be one of the biggest plot-twists in sports history. However, according to Mike Ryan of the "Le Batard Show," it's not likely. Leo Messi of Paris Saint-Germain and Cristiano Ronaldo of Riyadh XI fight for Meunier - PSG/PSG via Getty Images "The head of FIFA is kind of pressuring teams that are in this Club World Cup to sign Ronaldo," Ryan said. "They have this media rights package that's on DAZN here in this country, like 24 of the games on TNT. He wants this to be big this is the first Club World Cup and he wants the co-face of a generation Cristiano Ronaldo in it. Advertisement "So if he's pressuring all these clubs, one would wonder hey, Inter Miami is one of these clubs in the Club World Cup, might they have interest in potentially loaning Cristiano Ronaldo for just this tournament," Ryan said. "And perhaps form a super team of Messi and Cristiano." After teasing how monumental this would be, Ryan bluntly said "Inter Miami, no interest." While it would have been quite the spectacle, it's hard to imagine they'd put their rivalry aside. However, we may see them play against one another if Ronaldo does end up on one of the other 31 teams. Inter Milan Reach Full Agreement With Cristian Chivu – Now Must Finalize Details Of Coach's Exit With Parma Inter Milan have agreed a contract with Cristian Chivu and are now finalizing the details of his exit from Parma. This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Romanian accepted the Nerazzurri's offer of a two-year deal in a meeting this afternoon. Advertisement Inter Milan have decided upon Cristian Chivu to be their new coach. The 44-year-old will replace Simone Inzaghi, who has left to join Al-Hilal. Inter had been working on snapping up Cesc Fabregas to become Inzaghi's successor. However, Como President Mirwan Suwarson strongly rebuffed the Nerazzurri's interest, and stated that the Lariani would refuse to release the Spaniard. Meanwhile, Genoa coach Patrick Vieira was another name reportedly on Inter's shortlist. (Photo by) Yesterday, Inter decided upon Cristian Chivu. The Romanian was a player for six years with the Nerazurri, before coaching the team at several youth levels. Advertisement Inter informed Chivu yesterday that they wanted to make him their new coach. Then, a meeting took place yesterday evening to work out the details of the 44-year-old's contract. That meeting did not quite result in a full agreement. Therefore, the parties held further talks today. However, these were successful, and so Chivu has agreed terms on a two-year deal to take over as Inter coach. This does not mean, though, that Inter have everything in place to bring Chivu in. The Nerazzurri still have some details to work out with the 44-year-old's current coach Parma. Therefore, they will work to finalize these in talks with the Emilian club today.
