Regina Spektor show interrupted by anti-Israel protesters screaming, ‘Free f------ Palestine!'

Fox News29-07-2025
Singer Regina Spektor had to pause her concert on Saturday thanks to raucous anti-Israel protesters in the crowd.
During Spektor's performance in Portland, Oregon, multiple people in the audience began yelling "Free Palestine," prompting the musician to pause her set and get security to escort them out.
"You're just yelling at a Jew," she told the hecklers before they were directed to leave the premises.
Video footage captured by a fan, and reshared on TikTok by music outlet Stereogum, showed the moment one member of the audience began yelling, "Free f------ Palestine!" at the singer inside Portland's Revolution Hall.
The protesters' outburst was met by cries from fed-up concertgoers, one of whom chanted, "Am Yisrael Chai" – or "The people of Israel live" – in response.
The footage showed Spektor, a Jewish woman who immigrated to New York from the Soviet Union when she was a child, appearing to communicate with someone offstage to get security involved.
"I don't know what he thinks he's doing," the singer told the crowd, referencing the outburst. Some in the crowd responded by applauding Spektor, and apologizing for the interruption.
"I really appreciate the security," she added in a soft tone, prompting laughter from the crowd. Some yelled, "We love you!"
Still, the outbursts weren't over. Another individual started screaming, "Free, free Palestine! Say it! Say it!"
Again, someone responded, "Am Yisrael Chai!" By the time the lights turned on in the venue, revealing the crowd, Spektor quipped, "I thought this was different than the internet. This is real life." The crowd applauded again.
Still another protester spoke up, saying, "There's a genocide happening." Spektor addressed the heckler, saying, "You can leave the show if you want. This is not an internet comment section. I know that you are mistaking my show for a YouTube video––"
"I'm not," the heckler replied. "You are," Spektor shot back.
"I'm watching children dying. That hurts," the anti-Israel agitator added.
"Yeah, I think you should go because this is not the place for that conversation," the singer said.
Elsewhere, Spektor told the crowd, "The only reason I even speak English is because I came here to escape this s---. I only speak English because I came from a country where people treated Jews as othered, and I'm being othered here, and it sucks."
Spektor has publicly spoken out about the Israel-Hamas conflict in the past. Just days after the October 7 Hamas massacre, she mourned for Israelis and Palestinians alike in an Instagram post.
"My tears are endless but my heart has enough room… Room for murdered, raped, and kidnapped innocent Jews. Room for bombed innocent Palestinians suffering and dying in Gaza. Fury at Hamas whose mission is exterminating Jews while hiding behind Palestinian human shields."
As the post went on, Spektor criticized Israel's government, but defended the nation and its people.
"Israeli government is NOT its people, like any other government on earth. Netanyahu does NOT speak for all Israelis, or all Jews living across the world. In the Middle East – Israel is the ONLY democracy with a chance to vote/protest/change its government. The ONLY land where LGBTQ people are able to live safely. The ONLY land which doesn't mandate women's dress or behavior."
Reps for Spektor and Revolution Hall did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Still Beefin'! K. Michelle Performs Diss Track Aimed At Former LHHATL Castmate, Rasheeda Responds

Source: Udo Salters/Prince Williams K. Michelle is not one to let a beef subside, and her latest move directed at her former Love and Hip Hop Atlanta castmates, Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, is proving it. The 'Can't Raise A Man' singer performed her diss track, 'Rasheeda Got Bags,' aimed at the Atlanta rapper during her latest tour stop, and her fans had a kiki over the longstanding feud between the two. After a piano interlude, K. Michelle sang the track for her day ones, who remember where the initial rift in the pair's relationship first began. Fans of the long-running reality program may recall that Rasheeda drew criticism in the early aughts of the show when she accused K. Michelle of fabricating her tale of abuse at the hands of Atlanta producer Memphiz. Her story was later corroborated by his ex-wife Toya Johnson—who also revealed she'd experienced violence in their relationship. Memphiz himself confirmed the claims and publicly apologized to K via social media. Still, Rasheeda has never retracted her statement despite many fans calling upon her to own up to her mistake. Well, Rasheeda did take time to respond to K. Michelle's concert moment via The Shade Room's comments, saying, 'Yeap she still loves me. Forever living rent free in her mind btw…she opening up at my concert. Get yo tickets.' She then, with the help of her husband, Kirk, compared her Spotify streaming numbers to those of K. Michelle's, pointing out that her TikTok viral song, 'Marry Me,' has 2 billion streams. Mrs. Frost also noted that her monthly listeners were higher than the Memphis-born songstress. However, K. Michelle called cap on the stunt with her own post where she listed her accomplishments. 'You really sat there and let that man embarrass you AGAIN today,' she said. 'Talking about a spotify listener for a TikTok challenge song. Crazy. Im 4 #1 billboard albums, 2 platinum records, 5 gold records and JUST got off stage as I have been for years. You want me to keep going? This music discussion ended before it started just like your comical rap whisper.' She continued, 'Everyone knows you're not a talented lady. Don't deflect THIS is about mocking a woman's abuse for years and being the ringleader of the bashing me circus. You're MOST known for the longest running fool on TV. You got the karma you deserved. Now I am going to sleep I have another show tomorrow.' Rasheeda definitely lives by the belief that all press is good press as she seems to be relishing the fact that people are making fun of her on social media… again. In response to a recent TikTok trend where users found creative ways to ask one another to attend 'the Rasheeda concert' with them, the rapper dropped a freestyle with the line, 'y'all can pop y'all sh**, cause I ain't leaving Kirk,' much to the chagrin of everyone everywhere. Still, she seems to believe that people are laughing with her rather than at her, and honestly, the delulu determination must be peaceful. The post Still Beefin'! K. ‘No Booger Sugar Over Here': Chris Brown Responds To Claims That Cocaine Fuels His Work Ethic

Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Chris Brown took time to respond to claims that cocaine is the driving force behind his onstage stamina and insane work ethic. The 'Breezy Bowl' headliner stepped into the comments of a TikTok user who praised his ability to perform at a high level professionally while being 'off that powder' and made sure people knew that he is not, in fact, skiing the slopes. 'This gotta be the craziest compliment/diss I've ever heard,' he said. 'Sorry to disappoint boo. No booger sugar over here. Had to comment because this has to be the funniest s**t I've seen all week. I'm just different.' The user's comment section quickly lit up with Breezy fans letting her know that he responded and shut down the rumored drug use to which she quickly commented that she was also 'Team Breezy' before saying 'I love your soul' to Chris. His diehard fanbase also commended the singer for his nice response as he's been known to cut deep on social media, at times. Team Breezy has been lighting social media up with praise for his latest tour—which is a tribute to his 20-year career—and viral dances to his latest single 'It Depends' ft. Bryson Tiller. His loyal fans have been posting their responses to the more than two hours he is spending onstage every night with live vocals and the larger than life choreography he's become known for. With the tour only just getting underway, there hasn't been a rundown of his outlandish meet and greet moments quite yet but with an asking price of over $1000, we're sure the girlies are getting their monies worth. With major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, DC, and Las Vegas still on the list of cities he'll hit, Breezy fans are sure to be spending the rest of the summer and fall showing love to their fav. Cardi B Reacts To Criticism For Calling Fans Fat

Cardi B responded after she was called anti-fat for her odd reaction to her 3X merch selling out. In a livestream from earlier this month, which was recently reposted on Reddit, Cardi B talked about underestimating how much 3X merch she should have stocked for a recent fashion drop. She had earlier released three "box sets" for her upcoming album, Am I the Drama?, which came with their own specially designed T-shirt and a CD with a signed art card. As of writing, all three are sold out on Cardi B's website. "The box sets are completely sold out, especially because you fat fucks," she said on the live stream. "You guys are fat as fuck!" Cardi repeated. "No Chick-fil-A for ya'll. All the 3X sold out! Y'all, the 3X sold out in like 20 minutes!" Perhaps anticipating backlash, Cardi quickly added, "I can't even make fun of fat people no more." But then she justified her actions by pointing to the negative commentary she receives about her own body. Cardi argued, "Don't call me fat-phobic, y'all, because everybody make fun of my BBL. So I can body-shame people because y'all body-shame me." As you can imagine, the video went super viral, with many fans expressing shock, anger, and complete disbelief at Cardi's remarks. Writing on Reddit, one person said, "Fat shaming people that are supporting you is crazy work." Another agreed, "Yeah this is strange. There are steadfast fans of every size, so why would you call out a single group? " Another wondered, "Is this supposed to be funny?" One Reddit user expressed that "usually when she's unhinged it's funny but this ain't it. It's rude." "Rude as hell," commented another. "My younger sister wears 2X/3X and I would hate for her to see this from an artist she likes." Someone else said, "What a terrible business decision to be rude to the people who sell out your merch first." While this person absolutely could not believe Cardi's comments. "WOW," they wrote. "Money cannot buy class Cardi B." An eighth fan also pointed out, "jokes aside everyone wears their t-shirts oversized af now." "If I got y'all so upset, here. Here's a cupcake," Cardi continued, offering a cupcake to the camera. "I'm not gonna apologize, though, because y'all fucking sensitive and wanna cry about some dumb shit." The video wound up receiving a response from TikTok influencer Samyra, who criticized Cardi's comments in a video. Calling her out by name, Samyra said, "Just because someone else makes a joke doesn't mean you have to make it too." She also defended Cardi from body-shamers in the same breath, acknowledging that's not acceptable either. "No, they shouldn't be making fun of your BBL," Samyra stated. "But also no, you shouldn't be making fun of fat people." And once again, people were left cringing at Cardi's remarks. So far, Samyra hasn't responded to Cardi's comments — except to say that she was temporarily leaving TikTok and Instagram because of online "harassment" sparked from the posts. BuzzFeed has reached out to Cardi's reps for comment, but in the meantime, you can see the note here.
