
ROP confiscates over 50 kilos of drugs in Muttrah, arrests 6 expats
The arrests were made following the discovery of a substantial quantity of illicit substances in their possession.
According to the ROP's statement, the drugs seized included more than 32 kg of crystal methamphetamine and 23 kg of marijuana, bringing the total to over 55 kg. Legal proceedings against the accused are currently underway.

ROP arrests three for human trafficking
MUSCAT: The Directorate-General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, in cooperation with the Special Taskforce Police Unit in Bausher, arrested three individuals, including a woman of Asian nationality, on charges of human trafficking. The accused allegedly lured a woman of the same nationality with promises of work before depriving her of her freedom and exploiting her in acts contrary to public morals and ethics. Legal procedures are currently underway against the suspects.
