Schools rugby results: Grey edge Affies, Pretoria Boys pip St Stithians
There was again plenty of exciting schoolboy rugby action on the sports fields across South Africa this last weekend.
In one of the big traditional derbies, Grey College edged Affies in a close match in Bloemfontein, while at the Sharks Rugby Day at Hilton, the hosts beat Glenwood and Westville won a nail-biter against Maritzburg College
In the Eastern Cape, Queen's were too good for St Andrew's, while in the Western Cape there were wins for Stellenberg, Rondebosch, Paul Roos, and Paarl Boys High.
Up north, Pretoria Boys High got the better of St Stithians, KES won away at Noordheuwel, and Jeppe hammered St John's. Also, Waterkloof beat Menlopark, and Middelburg won against the town's HTS.

Schools rugby fixtures: Paarl derby one of the biggest games of the year
Other big fixtures include Jeppe against KES, Waterkloof against Affies, and Grey High taking on Grey College. School rugby results: Wynberg pip Rondebosch, Paarl Boys thrash Boland
Some narrow and some big, this weekend's school rugby fixtures offered great entertainment to fans. The schools were back in action on the weekend. That while Paarl Gim had a commanding 50–0 victory over Bishops and Paarl Boys High thrashed Boland Landbou 59–12 All that while three fixtures played out in the King Price School Derby Series. In the Western Cape, Wynberg won an important away game against Rondebosch (38–33). In KwaZulu-Natal, Hilton beat Northwood 35–22 and Westville beat Kearsney College 33–15 in their derbies.
