In the photos, we can see she donned a peach jacket over a matching, vintage-inspired cream blouse and trouser set. She paired the look with a black bag, gold pendant necklace, and a matching peachy smokey eye!
Truly, she's rocking the peach keen trend to a tee! And can we talk about how she's already her mother's lookalike? It's uncanny!
For those who don't know, Jovovich met her husband Paul W.S. Anderson, in 2002 while working on the film Resident Evil. They started dating soon after meeting, and got engaged a year later. They later married in 2009, and have welcomed three children Ever, born in Nov 3, 2007, Dashiel, born in April 2015, and Osian, born in Feb 2020.
While Jovovich is more private about her children, she did share the sweetest tribute to Ever on her 17th birthday back in Nov 2024. She shared a series of photos with the caption reading, 'Happy 17th Birthday to our queen @everanderson!!🥳 I remember looking at my newborn, my first baby and wondering what kind of a teenager she would be. Not even being able to imagine how this tiny, adorable, screaming being could develop into a rational, articulate human.😂 I knew you would be awesome, because I'm your mom, so I mean obviously💅🏼, but I could never imagine, not in a million years, what an intelligent, hilarious, talented and powerful young woman you would turn out to be! The journey I've watched you take has been the most mind blowing experience of my life. Seeing you grow and understand who you are and what you want, seeing you deal with difficult situations that seemed like they could swallow you up, but instead made you stronger and you managed to overcome.'
She added, 'Seeing you make the choices that weren't the easiest, but the ones that would help you develop into a more resilient, understanding and disciplined person have inspired and taught me so much more than I ever thought possible! I mean I'm the mom, you should be learning from me! Yet, I'm the one who learned so much from you. Everyday I wake up so grateful to be on this life adventure with you and everyday brings new knowledge and understanding that I never would have had without you showing me and teaching me. What an honor it's been raising you. What a privilege to share this life together. I love you more than I can ever describe because my words are just a pale shadow of the feelings in my heart! Happy Birthday Ever! My fireheart!❤️‍🔥.'Best of SheKnows

Resident Evil Requiem feels very familiar, but it's so well made that I respect the hell out of it

For nearly 30 years, developer Capcom has been redefining its particular brand of survival horror for the Resident Evil series. Despite its tone shifting between action-horror games and more pure horror entries, where players face down grotesque moments with scant resources, the series still manages to place players in tense encounters that define the series' against-all-odds approach to horror. And with the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem — or RE9 — appears to continue the series' current momentum in delivering compelling horror experiences. Just ahead of Gamescom 2025, I got to experience the opening of Resident Evil Requiem , focusing on new protagonist Grace Ashcroft (daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil Outbreak ) and her desperate attempt at fleeing a horrifying clinic within a strange mansion. Capcom's return to traditional survival horror was one of the best games showcased at Summer Game Fest 2025, and spending more time with it recently made me appreciate the series' renewed vision — even if it's a bit familiar. Much like recent core entries in the Resident Evil series — VII and Village — Resident Evil Requiem places a keen focus on immersion, truly capturing that sense of dread as you walk down the halls of an unnerving facility. The larger story of Requiem seems to be pointing towards a homecoming of sorts for the series' most pivotal event — the destruction of Raccoon City in Resident Evil 2 and 3 . While Requiem 's story will expand into a more ambitious scope, the demo I played focused on Grace's harrowing attempt to escape her abductors. In this sequence, Grace frees herself from an inverted hospital gurney and finds herself trapped in a ruined clinic filled with the bodies of dead doctors. In keeping with the brand of horror from the Resident Evil 2 remake and Resident Evil Village , I was being stalked by an imposing, grotesque monster hiding in the ceilings. Without weapons and with only empty bottles for distractions and sources of light to keep the beast at bay, the sequence felt very much like a stealth puzzle sequence, where I had to examine the movements of the beast and figure out a way to maneuver around it. I had previously seen this particular sequence during Summer Game Fest 2025. While I was impressed with its presentation — which features some of the most impressive lighting and character rendering I've seen from Capcom's RE Engine — I found the premise and scenario to be somewhat too familiar than I would have liked. Since Resident Evil VII , the series has leaned heavily into putting players in the series' most vulnerable moments, which often entail being stalked by imposing foes without any means to defend oneself. (Capcom) That sense of vulnerability can often feel played out, especially within the current horror game space, where running away from things is its sub-genre. However, getting to play Resident Evil Requiem properly made me appreciate Capcom's attempt to maintain the momentum from Resident Evil VII . And a lot of that had to do with the fact that Requiem now stars a more fully defined protagonist. Ethan Winters from VII and Village was a faceless protagonist with somewhat generic motivations, but he gradually became more well-rounded by the end of his story in Village . Now, with Grace, we're thrust into an unfamiliar situation, as she's more of an active participant in the story — talking to herself throughout the demo — and I felt a stronger connection to her sense of vulnerability as a protagonist. One of my favorite moments from the preview came shortly after I encountered the monster for the first time. After evading it, I went to the clinic's waystation to find a tool to open a fuse box. As I was wheeling a cart over to an elevated toolbox, the creature came into the room. As I tried hiding behind the cart, the monster spotted me and smashed the cart into me, which sent Grace hurling back to the wall. The beast then grabbed Grace and took a giant bite out of her shoulder. I used up my only health item and fled the room, returning to the well-lit safe that started the preview. Once the monster was gone, I snuck back into the waystation to retrieve the item — but more carefully this time around. It was a scary moment, but still totally exciting, and it had me on edge for the rest of the preview. (Capcom) Much like Resident Evil VII and Village , Requiem is by default a first-person game, which certainly creates a palpable sense of dread and uneasiness when exploring with a limited perspective. However, Requiem also adds the option to switch to third-person, which was introduced post-launch for Resident Evil Village and its DLC, Shadows of Rose. Having played the demo from both perspectives, I was impressed with how well the presentation feels tuned for both styles. The third-person perspective captures that sense of dread and adds in the expanded visibility, which gave me a clear and distressing view of the monster stalking me from behind as I ran towards the safe room. In the final stretch of my preview, I had all the tools I needed to make my exit. However, the storm outside the building blew out the lights in the area, allowing the monster to give chase. This sprint to the finish was tense and riveting. Even having seen the demo hands-off months prior, playing the sequence on my own made for a captivating experience. Once Grace made her exit, she had one last confrontation with the monster before the demo came to an abrupt end. (Capcom) So far, Resident Evil Requiem feels like a souped-up version of the immersive survival horror found in recent entries of the series — and it does very well based on this preview. I appreciated just how atmospheric this one, fairly limited, area of the preview was — seeing the long stretch of the hallway, with only my lighter and a dim red light illuminating in the distance, made for a striking visual — especially with the silhouette of the monster looming in the distance. That said, as well made as these sequences were, I'm already looking forward to seeing what sort of other tricks and events Requiem has in store. While I was a bit mixed on Village 's Resident Evil amusement park-style structure, I'm hoping Requiem will still take some big swings with its new twist on the series' survival horror. I have plenty of questions about Resident Evil Requiem , but I'm intrigued about what's to come for this series' next big move ahead. Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27, 2026 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S.

_J.L-A.L_ and HOKA Reunite on the Trails

_J.L-A.L_andHOKA's partnership was inevitable. BeforeJean-Luc Ambridge Lavellelaunched his eponymous label, he was already in talks with Thomas Cykana, HOKA's senior director of collaborations. The duo launched atwo-shoe collaborationback in early 2023, reworking the Tor Ultra Boot. Now, it's time for the second chapter of this connection to unfold. TheMafate X, one of HOKA's technical trail runners, is the focal point of this project. While centered around performance, _J.L-A.L_ has applied its nuanced approach to design to merge the worlds of lifestyle and sport. The subtle use of elements like a shimmering finish serve as nods to various points of inspiration, including iridescent sushi. To fully dive into this new campaign, we spoke with Jean-Luc Ambridge Lavelle and Thomas Cykana to learn more about their beginnings and where it has taken them. The first _J.L-A.L_ x HOKA project was well-received by fans of both brands. How did the two parties initially connect? Thomas Cykana: I contacted Jean-Luc when he began designing apparel and hand-cutting patterns. His natural taste and knack for silhouette were unmistakable early on, so we were lucky to launch our debut collaboration on the first day his webstore opened in January 2023. His ability to touch the Tor Ultra made our Paris Fashion Week a success. Jean-Luc Ambridge Lavelle: We connected before I even started the brand. Thomas reached out via Instagram about working together on a project, and throughout the process, _J.L-A.L_ was born. It made sense to release the collaboration within this context. When putting the second collaboration together, what was your starting point? JLAL: The starting point this season was performance and silhouette. We wanted to produce something that met our perspective visually and held weight outside of a superficial value base. Although I'm not a trail runner, I spend significant time in the mountains and frequent trails. This shoe feels like something I would use, and it benefits people on a performance level. TC: HOKA is no stranger to technically crafted products, so focusing on using one of our most innovative shoes was a no-brainer. The Mafate X launched the first carbon fiber plate of its kind within the HOKA range, making it the perfect candidate for this partnership. 'We connected before I even started [_J.L-A.L_].' What makes the Mafate X an excellent canvas for this collaboration? TC: This shoe embodies HOKA's most iconic trail running aesthetic in proportion and figure. Seeing the reflectivity and laces dialed up by Jean-Luc makes this version special. JLAL: For me, it was the levels of texture and engineering. We saw a lot of room to develop it visually and enjoyed honing in on different materials and techniques. What sort of feeling do you hope people get when wearing the shoe? TC: My greatest hope is that this shoe enables the wearer to be freed of their inhibitions, even if only for a moment, and take a leap into the unknown. As a brand made to move people, this collaboration is a testament to our commitment to movement beyond the physical and into the creative and emotional realms. How 'From Earth & Water' combines traditional earthen materials and reshapes perspective is a beautiful expression of what movement can mean beyond trail running. JLAL: On top of this, just enjoying it! Whether visually or in a performance sense. Generally speaking, what is the importance of collaborations to HOKA? TC: Collaborations are about taking the brand to new places and reaching greater heights. Our partners help reveal truths about the brand and unlock opportunities we couldn't otherwise see. Which _J.L-A.L_ designs do you see the shoes best complementing? JLAL: We designed these in conjunction with our Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The color palettes are inspired by multiple elements of the season while staying true to the internal narrative we were developing for the Mafate X. What about _J.L-A.L_ makes the brand a suitable partner for HOKA? TC: _J.L-A.L_ has an eye for detail and an irreverent quirk that perfectly matches our brand. The pattern making, ornamental trims, and elegant utility make for a perfect partnership. How does HOKA fit into the world of _J.L-A.L_? JLAL: I've always respected HOKA. Their design process and approach are against the norm, which is something they've stayed true to. This commitment results in true innovation and feels unwavering in the noise of trends. I respect the approach and hope to maintain a similar dedication to design. The _J.L-A.L_ x HOKA Mafate X will be available on August 22 in both colorways at a price of $250 USD via HOKA and select retailers worldwide. Before that, _J.L-A.L_ is set to host an exclusive pre-release on August 21.

Watch: 'Resident Evil Requiem' trailer shows new hero Grace Ashcroft's past

Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Capcom has released a trailer for Resident Evil Requiem that provides a backstory for new protagonist Grace Ashcroft. The preview opens with Grace speaking with her mother, journalist Alyssa Ashcroft, inside their hotel room when the pair receive a mysterious phone call. Alyssa was a character in 2003's Resident Evil Outbreak. The power in the hotel goes out, making Alyssa realize they are in trouble. The trailer then switches to a brief gameplay segment as Grace follows her mother through the dark hallways of the hotel. The pair encounter a friendly hotel manager, who is quickly killed by a hooded, pale-skinned man. The trailer ends with Grace and Alyssa continuing on before Alyssa is seemingly attacked. An older Grace appeared in the first trailer for Resident Evil Requiem, where she was shown as an FBI agent working a case. Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth entry in the mainline Resident Evil video game series, comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and PC on Feb. 27, 2026.
