Ibb university holds seminar commemorating Annual "Sarkha" Anniversary
Ibb - Saba:
Ibb University organized a cultural seminar on Monday to mark the annual anniversary of the "Sarkha" (The Cry), titled "The Cry in the Face of the Zionist and American Enemy: A Stance That Shakes Their Entity and a Weapon That Destroys Their Capabilities."
The seminar was attended by the University President, Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili, along with his deputies: Dr. Fuad Hassan for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmad Abou Lahoum for Student Affairs, and the University Secretary, Abdulmalik Al-Saqqaf.
In the first session, Dr. Abubakr Al-Mansoor discussed the religious values embodied by the "Sarkha" against the Zionist and American enemy, as well as the connection between the Quranic project and the essence of the noble Islamic faith.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kamal Al-Jarani, in the second session, emphasized the effectiveness of the "Sarkha" slogan in confronting the modern-day tyrants.
The seminar's outcomes reaffirmed the commitment to steadfastness, unity, and solidarity, as well as support for the revolutionary leadership and the armed forces, who continue to write the most heroic epics of sacrifice in defense of the Islamic nation's causes.
Additionally, the seminar stressed the importance of immunizing the youth against the dangers of "soft warfare," which is no less perilous than conventional warfare with deadly weapons. It also highlighted the need to build a strong generation capable of confronting all conspiracies orchestrated by global arrogance.
The recommendations praised the qualitative operations carried out by the armed forces in response to the genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people and in rejection of the American-Zionist aggression on Yemen.

Sana'a - Saba: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday sent a congratulatory cable to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the friendly Russian people's celebration of Sovereignty Day. The cable read: As your friendly people celebrate Sovereignty Day, I am pleased to extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, along with my cordial wishes for good health, happiness, and further development for your friendly country. As your friendly people celebrate Sovereignty Day, it gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, along with my sincere wishes for your continued health and happiness, and for further growth and prosperity for your friendly country. The Russian role is highly regarded and relied upon in restoring global balance and curbing the blind imperialism that seeks to dominate the sovereignty of nations and interfere in their internal affairs to control the wealth of peoples. We hope that Russia's future role will further promote global peace and stability for all societies and nations—foremost among them the Palestinian cause, as the Palestinian people face genocide at the hands of the brutal Zionist machine, under the cover of American imperialism. Such actions stand in stark violation of all international covenants and agreements. We would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our country's keenness to deepen the bonds of friendship with your nation in all fields, in a manner that enhances both regional and international security and stability. Trump announces initial economic agreement with China
Washington – Saba: US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he had reached a preliminary agreement with China, under which rare earths will be imported from Beijing. Trump said that the agreement with China includes the placement of Chinese students in American universities, confirming that his country will receive a total tariff of 55%, while China will receive 10%, according to Sputnik News Agency. China and the United States recently agreed to completely eliminate tariffs on each other's goods for an initial period of 90 days, a surprising achievement that has boosted global markets. Under the agreement, the United States will temporarily reduce its tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30%, while China will reduce its tariffs on US imports from 125% to 10%, according to the joint statement. The Chinese and American sides agreed to establish a mechanism to continue economic and trade talks. The Chinese side will be represented by Vice Premier He Lifeng, while the American side will be represented by Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and Trade Representative Jameson Greer. The meetings will alternate between China and the United States, or in a third country agreed upon by both sides, with the possibility of holding technical consultations at the working-level on related issues. The dispute over trade tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on China, which reached 145%, and China's retaliation by raising its tariffs on American products by 125%, has sparked warnings of a trade war between the two countries that would have negative repercussions on the global economy.
