
Multi-vehicle crash causes M60 motorway hold-ups near Stockport
A crash involving multiple vehicles has been causing major delays on a motorway.The incident happened on the M60 motorway in Greater Manchester earlier.National Highways North West reported that two lanes of the M60 clockwise were closed from J27 A560 Great Portwood Street (Portwood Roundabout) to J1 A5145 Travis Brow (Stockport Pyramid).The agency said the two lanes have reopened but have warned drivers to expect delays of up to 60 minutes.

Tesco introduces way to collect Clubcard point at car parks
Tesco has introduced a new way for customers across the UK to collect Clubcard points, and all they have to do is park their car while shopping. Those with an electric vehicle will now be able to get those all-important points just by making use of the store's Pod electric vehicle chargers. Tesco customers can now collect Clubcard points just by charging their EV Points are collected for every pound spent at these Vauxhall-branded EV chargers at Tesco Extra and Tesco Superstore car parks across the country. However, points earned through this scheme may not come through right away, with these likely to appear within seven days of the purchase. According to The Metro, Shama Wilson, Tesco's group membership and loyalty director, said: "Our customers have long been able to collect points on fuel from Tesco, but with an increasing number of drivers switching to electric vehicles we are delighted that shoppers will now be able to collect Clubcard points when they charge their cars at our stores, thanks to our exciting partnership with Pod. "You can now park at your local Tesco and top-up your electric vehicle while you shop, in the knowledge that you are collecting Clubcard points towards a future Tesco shop or to exchange with one of our Reward Partners." The incident happened on the A40 in Raglan, Monmouthshire on Saturday, May 31, shortly before 11am. A 27-year-old man from the Kent area died from his injuries at the scene, Gwent Police confirmed in a statement on Monday. A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: 'Gwent Police is appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on the A40 at Raglan, on Saturday, May 31, at about 10.55am." They added: 'It happened on the southbound off slip, travelling onto the A449, and involved one motorcycle, a black Ducati Multistrada. 'The rider, a 27-year-old man from the Kent area, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family is being supported by specially trained officers. 'Anyone with any information, dashcam, or CCTV footage is asked to call 101, quoting 2500171600, you can send a direct message on Facebook or X, or contact us online."
