Brad Pitt embraces Tom Cruise at F1: The Movie premiere
Pitt was sporting a green suit while attending the premiere in London of the motoring film, which follows a Formula One driver, Sonny Hayes, who comes out of retirement to help mentor a younger driver.
On the carpet, the 61-year-old was seen embracing Mission: Impossible star Cruise and posing in front of a sports car.
The pair previously worked together on the 1994 horror Interview With A Vampire.
Pitt recently told E! News that Cruise was 'so sweet' for showing support for the film, and when asked about working together again in a movie he said: 'I am not going to hang my ass off airplanes like that.
'When he does something again that's on the ground.'
Cruise is known for performing extreme stunts in the Mission: Impossible franchise, including scaling Dubai's Burj Khalifa skyscraper and riding a motorcycle off the edge of a cliff.
Pitt was also seen posing with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, as well as his co-stars, including The Banshees Of Inisherin's Kerry Condon and Snowfall actor Damson Idris.
The cast posed next to Formula One Ferrari driver Sir Lewis Hamilton, who was dressed in all black.
Pitt is known for films including Fight Club, 12 Years A Slave and Moneyball and has received six Oscar nominations, winning two including best actor in a supporting role for Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood.
He is also known for Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, in which he played Lieutenant Aldo Raine.
He was formerly married to actress Angelina Jolie who he shares six children with.
The pair split up after Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, which led to an eight-year legal battle with a settlement reached in December.

This disgusting Netflix documentary will put you off cruises for life
Sure, you've had bad holidays. The one where it rained every day. That time the airline lost your luggage and you had to spend 48 hours wearing the same pants. But have you ever been forced to spend four days defecating into a plastic bag on a cruise ship that just caught fire and is now adrift in the Gulf of Mexico? That was the fate of 4,200 people aboard the Carnival Triumph, and the story is retold to hilarious effect in Trainwreck: Poop Cruise (Netflix). It's a terrible title and a gross subject but it's one of the funniest documentaries I've seen in ages. British director James Ross was Bafta-nominated a few years back for a serious film about Anton Ferdinand and racism. Here he demonstrates a flair for comedy, stitching together the recollections of passengers and crew. They are well-chosen and well-edited, including three friends who were on a hen weekend – the vibe is very Bridesmaids – and a man who was on holiday with his father-in-law for the first time, desperate to impress. The crew members include a droll Indian chef and a British cruise director called Jen. It was Jen who issued a chirpy, Hi-de-Hi message over the tannoy after the ship ran into trouble: 'When you do need to do a number one, you can do it in the shower. And if you need to do a number two, we're going to deliver some red bags – we ask that you please do it in the red bag and drop it off in the bins in the corridors.' The contributors run through their reactions to that directive: 'You want me to do what?' 'I'm not doing that.' 'What world are we living in?' Here's what happened: midway through a cruise from Texas to Mexico in 2013, a fire broke out in the Triumph's engine room. It caused the power to cut out, which not only plunged the ship into darkness but caused the toilets to stop flushing. Guests were told that they'd be towed back to Cozumel the following day. But the ship drifted out of Mexican waters and it was four days before they eventually made it to port in Mobile, Alabama. Phone footage helps to build up a picture of life on board: a tent city of mattresses dragged up on deck and shaded by bedsheets, two-hour queues for food rations, fights over the last available deckchair. 'Ha!' says a Russian bartender. 'Now all these Americans can feel what it was like in dictatorship countries where s--- like this happens and it doesn't surprise anyone. Welcome to the Soviet Union, people!' But it's those red bags that haunt everyone. And it's the winning honesty of the contributors that makes this documentary a gem. The Russian crew member cheerfully admits that she was in bed with one of the engineers when the fire alarm went off. The bridal party were sleeping off hangovers after overdoing it in Mexico ('We left our dignity in Mexico'). Some, like the chap on holiday with his father-in-law, were determined to hang on to their dignity. For others, it was impossible. The men could pee overboard but the women had to crouch in the shower, using the flashing beacon light from a life jacket as illumination. 'This is my first cruise,' says a member of the hen party, 'but I don't think this is normal.' The documentary is only an hour long, which is good, because you wouldn't want much more of this (there is an analogy about lasagne which will live long in the memory). And perhaps if this had happened to a boatload of Germans, the tone would have been different. But these were party-loving Americans. When things got really bad, the staff laid on a free bar. Even in the midst of a sanitary nightmare, everyone was keen to hit the tequila. As one of the guests puts it: 'Cruises are supposed to be fun. It's free booze. Let's go!'

Brad Pitt rocks a bold green suit as he embraces Tom Cruise at film premiere
Brad Pitt has the lead role in F1 The Movie, which is based on the Formula One World Championship, and is created in collaboration with the FIA, its governing body It is easy being green after all - if you're two-time BAFTA winner Brad Pitt. The Hollywood legend donned a verdant hue at the European premiere of F1 The Movie in London last night. He has a lead role in the sports drama, which sees a retired Formula One driver enticed out of retirement to help mentor a younger driver. And joined by his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, Pitt, 61, looked dapper in the green suit. He also embraced Tom Cruise on the red carpet as, although he is not in F1 The Movie, Cruise has shown his support for the epic blockbuster, which has a $200million (£148million) budget. Speaking previously, Pitt said Cruise was "so sweet" for backing the film, and when asked about working together again in a movie he said: "I am not going to hang my ass off airplanes like he does something again that's on the ground." Met Gala: Damson Idris' bold arrival at iconic fashion event is nod at his Tommy Hilfiger role Damson Idris, who has been in The Banshees Of Inisherin's Kerry Condon and Snowfall, plays the young prodigy in the movie. He arrived at the Met Gala in a racing suit in May in homage to the film. And, last night, he and the rest of the cast posed next to Formula One Ferrari driver Sir Lewis Hamilton, who was dressed in all black. Hamilton and the nine other F1 drivers in the 2023 season, such as Max Verstappen, will appear in the film, created in collaboration with the FIA, Formula One World Championship's governing body. Cruise, who worked with Pitt in the 1994 horror Interview With A Vampire, was snapped on the red carpet too. With F1 The Movie likely to be a dramatic, high-energy number, viewers could expect some stunts - though not as death-defying as Cruise's scaling of Dubai's Burj Khalifa skyscraper and riding a motorcycle off the edge of a cliff in the popular Mission: Impossible franchise. Pitt, whose own career has spanned more than three decades, showed his respect with warm embraces at the Leicester Square event. Pitt, who has won two Golden Globe Awards, is known for films including Fight Club, 12 Years A Slave and Moneyball. The star has received six Oscar nominations, winning two including best actor in a supporting role for Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. He is also known for Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, in which he played Lieutenant Aldo Raine. Pitt, originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma, was formerly married to actress Angelina Jolie who he shares six children with. The pair split up after Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, which led to an eight-year legal battle with a settlement reached in December.

Brad Pitt says he needed ‘rebooting' and looked forward to AA meetings
The 61-year old actor, who stars in the new film F1: The Movie, reportedly began attending the men's group meetings after his former partner and film star, Angelina Jolie, filed for divorce in September 2016. Speaking on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, he described attending the AA meetings as an 'amazing experience'. Pitt said: 'I was pretty much on my knees, and I was really open. I was trying anything and everyone. Anything anyone threw at me. 'It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting. I needed to wake the f*** up in some areas. And it just meant a lot to me. 'It was really moving. Some of these men were so moving. 'What an amazing thing this experience was for me. It was a men's group was AA, it was when I first was getting sober. I just thought it was just incredible men sharing their experiences, their foibles, their missteps, their wants, their aches, and lot of humour with it. 'I thought it was a really special experience.' The divorce led to a long-running legal battle between the two stars, with a settlement reached in December. Pitt shares six children with Jolie with one of them, a daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, becoming the first to request a legal name change in May. Prior to Jolie, he was married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston until their split in 2005. He added that he was a little shy when he first attended the meetings but that it later became something he looked 'forward to'. Pitt said: 'When I've stepped in shit, I'm pretty good at taking responsibility for it, owning up to it. 'How can I write this and make sure it doesn't happen again, or just be better. Step up. 'So I was really open to that, and I was really open to see what these guys were doing, who had their thing and been there for a while. Sure, I was a bit shy. I can generally be a bit shy in any kind of situation at first, but I just remember getting my arms around it pretty quickly, and it became a thing for me. It was really something I'd look forward to.' The award-winning actor is known for films including Fight Club, 12 Years A Slave and Moneyball and has received six Oscar nominations, taking two home including actor in a supporting role for Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood.
