In a May 1 interview with Hollywood Authentic, the 32-year-old Saltburn and Masters of the Air star acknowledged for the first time, 'I do have an addiction, and I am an addict.'
Keoghan traced his struggle back to childhood trauma, including the death of his mother from a heroin overdose and the loss of other family members to drugs. 'I'm not in denial anymore,' he said. 'When you accept that, you can finally move on and learn to work with it.'
Despite the birth of his son, Brando, Keoghan admitted that his curiosity about drugs remained strong. 'There's an enormous amount of pressure in Hollywood, and a lifestyle that's both good and bad for you,' he said, referencing scars on his arms as visible reminders of his drug use.

Margot Robbie stuns in gothic wedding gown while filming 'Wuthering Heights' adaptation, sparking debate over authenticity
Margot Robbie turned heads as she was photographed in a dramatic off-the-shoulder wedding gown while filming Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights. The 36-year-old Australian actress plays Catherine Earnshaw in the $80 million production, set for a February 2026 release. Joining her on the misty Yorkshire Moors was Saltburn star Jacob Elordi, who portrays the brooding Heathcliff. Robbie's voluminous costume, complete with a flowing veil and bouquet of roses, captured the attention of fans and photographers alike. The actress's transformation for the role comes just months after the birth of her first child, adding to the admiration of her return to screen. Photo: The film is being produced by Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment, which previously collaborated with Fennell on Saltburn and Promising Young Woman. While plot details remain under wraps, filming reportedly began in January, with the adaptation aiming to bring a modern visual approach to Emily Brontë's literary classic. Robbie recently spoke about her co-star Elordi in Harper's Bazaar, saying, 'He's wonderful… he's got an incredible presence. He's a movie star—he's got that charisma. He holds a frame.' The pair had previously worked together behind the scenes, but Wuthering Heights marks their first time sharing the screen. Despite the excitement, the casting has stirred controversy. Brontë's novel describes Catherine as a teenager, while Robbie is 36. Similarly, Heathcliff—often portrayed with dark skin and an ambiguous ethnic background—will be played by 27-year-old Elordi, prompting online backlash about 'whitewashing' and historical inaccuracy. Fans also questioned the decision to cast what one critic described as 'Instagram-model actors' in a gritty period piece. Still, the film is expected to draw strong attention, given the high-profile team behind it.

Sabrina Carpenter spotted partying in Paris with mystery man after throwing shade at ex Barry Keoghan
Sabrina Carpenter didn't let a packed concert schedule stop her from enjoying a night out in Paris. The singer, 25, was spotted partying with a mystery man after her Short n' Sweet Tour stop at the Accor Arena on Monday night. The pair started their night at a jazz bar in the Marais district around midnight before heading to Ferdi restaurant for a late-night meal. They were later seen leaving together in a car back to Sabrina's hotel. The sighting comes just days after Sabrina took a subtle but pointed jab at her ex-boyfriend, Barry Keoghan, during her concert in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland. Before performing Please, Please, Please, a song believed to be about their relationship, Sabrina told the crowd, "Dublin, it's so lovely to be here. You all look and sound amazing. But my goodness, these Irish boys are hard work." Keoghan, 32, and Carpenter were together for about a year before news of their breakup surfaced in December 2024, with speculation that Keoghan had been unfaithful. Following the split, Keoghan deactivated his Instagram, citing 'lies, hatred, and disgusting commentary' he received online. Addressing the backlash, he wrote, 'I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don't respond to. But now, too many lines are being crossed.' Meanwhile, Carpenter has been focused on her European tour, which comes after a show-stopping performance at the BRIT Awards. Her set at the awards show made waves, particularly when she got down on her knees in front of a 'King's Guard'—a moment so bold that ITV had to edit the broadcast. While Keoghan continues to navigate public scrutiny and focus on fatherhood, Carpenter is making headlines both on and off the stage, whether through her performances or her eventful Parisian night out.
