The Genius Way to Make Leftover Pizza 10x Better
I'm a sucker for a good food mashup. Think sushi burritos and donut burgers—gloriously over-the-top combos that somehow just work. But every so often, I stumble across one that makes me pause mid-scroll and question the sanity of the Internet. That's exactly what happened when I saw this epic creation from TikTok account @seriousfoodfetish. It's a pizza sandwich, a salad pizza and a chicken pizza all at once—and it's as wild as it sounds!Related: 😋😋 SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter.🍳🍔
This isn't just a sandwich. This is a culinary dare, a tower of chaos that only a true comfort food enthusiast could dream up. Here's how you make it: take two slices of leftover pizza (yes, two entire slices), air fry them to get the cheese all melty and the crust crisp again. While the pizza is heating up, toss together a Caesar salad (it's all about the balance). Next, air fry a breaded chicken fillet until it's golden and crunchy. Now comes the fun part! Pile some of that fresh Caesar salad on top of one slice of pizza (cheese side up), add the crispy chicken, then layer on even more salad. Top it with the second slice of pizza (cheese side down) and give it a good press. Wrap it up, slice it in half, and prepare yourself for a mind-bending bite that somehow makes sense.Related:
At first glance, this sandwich sounds like a chaotic mix of leftovers, but there's a method to the madness. The crispiness of the air-fried pizza crust acts like a sturdy sandwich bread, while the gooey cheese melts into the chicken and salad, tying all the flavors together.
The Caesar salad adds a refreshing crunch and a bit of tang that cuts through the richness of the cheese and chicken, keeping the whole thing from becoming too heavy. It's the kind of over-the-top, unapologetic comfort food that can only come from someone who truly understands the joy of combining unexpected flavors and textures.
Also, you would probably consider eating a Caesar salad as a side dish for a slice of pizza. This mashup just puts the two things together in one dish.

Feeling brave? Take this already outrageous mashup to new levels.
Swap the Caesar salad for buffalo sauce-drenched lettuce, add blue cheese crumbles and use a spicy, breaded chicken fillet for a sandwich that packs a fiery punch.
Stick with the Italian theme and make a chopped salad (romaine, cheese, your favorite Italian meats) and layer that with the chicken. Hit everything with a drizzle of Italian dressing before closing the sandwich for a true Italian deli-inspired twist.
Use BBQ chicken pizza slices, a crispy fried chicken fillet and a slathering of ranch dressing. Add a few pickled jalapeños for a bit of heat.
If you're still on the fence, just think about how satisfying it will be to hold this monster of a sandwich in your hands, knowing you've defied both culinary logic and the rules of reasonable sandwich-making. Plus, it's the perfect way to use up those random leftover pizza slices you'd normally just reheat and eat over the sink (we've all been there). So why not take a leap of faith and bite into something wild and wonderful?

American Olympic champion Gabby Thomas followed and heckled by gambler at Grand Slam Track meet
Three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas said she was verbally abused at the Grand Slam Track meet in Philadelphia last weekend, the latest incident of harassment the American has reported this year. Thomas, who won gold in the 200 meters, and 4x100m and 4x400m relays at the Paris Games, said in a post on X that a man followed her around the track while she took pictures for fans and signed autographs, shouting personal insults at her. 'Anybody who enables him online is gross,' wrote Thomas. Thomas' post was in response to another on X which contained a video of a person heckling Thomas while she was on the starting line, shouting, 'You're a choke artist – you're going down, Gabby.' 'I made Gabby lose by heckling her. And it made my parlay win,' the social media user wrote, with a screenshot of two multi-leg bets on the FanDuel sportsbook platform. The track circuit said in a statement: 'Grand Slam Track is conducting a full investigation into the reprehensible behavior captured on video. We are working to identify the individual involved and will take appropriate action as necessary. 'We will implement additional safeguards to help prevent incidents like this in the future. Let us be clear, despicable behavior like this will not be tolerated.' Thomas finished third overall in the short sprints group for the Philadelphia meet, the third in the novel circuit's inaugural season. One of American track's brightest stars, the 28-year-old Thomas catapulted to mainstream fame after her breakout performance in Paris, gracing the cover of American 'Vogue' magazine and appearing on US talk shows. But Thomas has also suffered the darker side of fame, describing on TikTok this year how she was stalked by a group of men at several airports, as social media gives female athletes greater exposure. The incident at Grand Slam Track also reflected a growing link between sports betting and harassment, with female tennis players including Caroline Garcia pointing to 'unhealthy betting' as a key culprit. Major tennis governing bodies moved to combat online abuse and published last year a report that attributed nearly half of abusive social media posts to angry gamblers. 'Thank you for pointing out this disgusting behavior,' retired former world 10,000m silver medallist and NBC Sports commentator Kara Goucher wrote on X. 'You are exposing the crap that women go through and will eventually help other women as well.'

You Can Now Customize Your TikTok 'For You' Feed With Sliders. Here's How
How do you feel about the content in your TikTok For You Feed? If you've ever thought you could do with a little more of this and a little less of that, then you're about to get more control than ever before over what the algorithm serves you. In the Manage Topics section of your settings, you'll soon be able adjust sliders that will tell TikTok whether you want to see more or less content on ten chosen topics. For example, if you're gearing up for a summer of hosting, you might want more recipes to appear in your For You feed. To signal this to TikTok, you could boost the food and drink slider so that it knows you're actively interested in carrot salads and margarita pitchers. The sliders won't eliminate content of one type all together, they simply allow you to give more weight to topics you care about. In the coming months, TikTok is also increasing the number of keywords that can be filtered from around 100 to 200. Additionally, it's introducing Smart Keyword Filters, which uses AI to catch synonyms for words people have chosen to filter out, and exclude that content from their feeds too. I caught a first glimpse of the new features at a SXSW London event on Monday, ahead of TikTok announcing them on Tuesday. At the event, TikTok delved into some of the big trends that it's been observing recently, and it seems as though the cultural exchange between US and UK audiences has never been more prevalent. The American content proving most interesting to British audiences is based around the Hamptons aesthetic, which has seen a 24% growth in the UK this year. According to TikTok, Brits can't get enough of Nancy Meyers-inspired interiors and the beachy summer vibes that the Hamptons evoke. Meanwhile, American TikTok users have discovered Marks and Spencer, the iconic British store that sells (among other things) classy groceries to the middle classes. TikTok has observed a rise in content about American travelers to the UK jumping off the plane only to immediately do an M&S haul and taste test the products (who needs Big Ben when you have Percy Pig?). British crime drama is also resonating hard with US audiences right now, particularly following the release of Adolescence on Netflix earlier this year. That said, the most popular show of all time on TikTok is still The Vampire Diaries -- so if you didn't watch it first time around, maybe now is the time.

Netflix's new crime thriller show sounds like a compelling binge-watch — and you can stream it now
Netflix is constantly adding new international shows to its lineup, but sometimes the quieter releases can slip through the cracks, especially when bigger titles are dominating the spotlight. 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows,' an Italian crime thriller that just dropped today (June 3), feels like one of those shows that might surprise you. Claudia Gerini, known for her role in 'John Wick: Chapter 2', joins forces with Teresa Saponangelo, star of 'The Hand of God,' in this new series helmed by Carmine Elia — the director behind acclaimed shows such as 'The Red Door' and 'The Sea Beyond.' Based on Maurizio de Giovanni's popular crime novel series 'Le indagini di Sara' ('The Investigations of Sara'), the show centers on a former intelligence agent with exceptional observational skills, drawn back into a dangerous world after her son's mysterious death. The books have been praised for their clever storytelling, rich character development, and exploration of heavy themes like grief. With just six episodes, 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows' seems like a compact, emotionally charged thriller that could be a great addition to your Netflix queue. Here's everything to know about it. 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows' follows Sara (Teresa Saponangelo), a former internal secret service agent known as 'the invisible woman' for her unmatched skill in the field. Once a legend, she's now withdrawn and living in isolation until the sudden, suspicious death of her son pulls her back into a world she thought she'd left behind. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Desperate for answers, Sara turns to her old friend and former colleague, Teresa (Claudia Gerini), for help. But nothing in her world comes without a cost. As she digs deeper into the investigation, she uncovers unsettling truths about the son she barely knew and in doing so, is forced to confront ghosts from her own past. Flavio Furno plays Pardo, a dedicated police officer involved in the investigation. Chiara Celotto alsoo stars as Viola, a photographer who is also the pregnant partner of Sara's son. It's still too early to say whether 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows' is a must-watch, since there aren't many reviews yet and it doesn't have a Rotten Tomatoes score. However, based on the trailer and premise, it seems to offer plenty of mystery for fans who enjoy piecing together clues as the plot unfolds. 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows' appears to have all the key elements for a gripping thriller, too. At its core, it's a character-driven story about a former secret service agent navigating a dangerous world while unraveling personal and professional mysteries tied to her past. With just six episodes, it's perfect for those who prefer shorter series. And, like many international shows, it's often best experienced with subtitles to fully appreciate the original performances and emotional nuance. The vibe and tone are also reminiscent of other Netflix originals like 'The Åre Murders' and 'The Glass Dome,' so fans of those shows might find 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows' especially appealing. If you enjoy mystery-driven stories and want a compact series to binge, this could be a great addition to your Netflix queue. But if it's not grabbing you right now, there are plenty of other new releases to explore this June 2025. Stream 'Sara - Woman in the Shadows' on Netflix now.
