Selena Gomez is celebrating her younger sister, Gracie Elliot Teefey's 12th birthday with a sweet note and many throwback memories. Taking to her Instagram account right after midnight on Friday, June 13, the actress and singer shared a carousel alongside a heartfelt wish, in which she said, 'Happy birthday to my baby sissy. As I cry writing this, my heart melts because I know you know I'm always on your side. No matter what. I love you, baby girl."
The first image in Selena's post featured a baby Gracie with her elder sister lovingly kissing her tiny hand while she fondly looked at her. In the next, the two sisters were seen wearing matching pyjama sets as they spent time together. Following this, Gracie was sweetly posing for the camera inside an eatery. The Only Murders in the Building star also included a few more photos of them together over the years.
One of which featured the two on the red carpet of Frozen II's premiere in 2019, twinning white gowns paired with fur capes. Gracie was 6 years old back when she made her debut on the red carpet. Another few photos showed Selena and Gracie getting cosy inside blankets and enjoying meals together. In one, the birthday girl was seen holding a plate with 'I (heart) U" spelt on it. The 32-year-old singer also added an image of Gracie holding a huge stuffed animal and sunflowers.
Besides these sweet moments of the sisters, Selena shared a video in her carousel, where Gracie was seen enjoying a song by Taylor Swift. She posted the same video on her Instagram Stories, writing, 'When she loves auntie Taylor than me". The two pop stars have been friends for a long time. In another one, Selena face-timed her sister to introduce her to singer Gracie Adams.

Several other celebrities also wished Gracie in the comment section, which Selena turned to limited. Emily in Paris' Lily J Collins and Ashley Park wrote 'The sweeeetest," and 'Ultimate cuties," respectively. Young influencer Taylen Biggs wished Gracie saying, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACIE! Can't wait to meet you one day soon."
Gracie is Selena's half-sister. She is the daughter of Selena's mother, Mandy Teefey, and her step-father Brian Teefey. Mandy was previously married to Ricardo Joel Gomez, with whom she had Selena in 1992.
