'I've brought out my favourite spring perfume now the warm weather is back'
I have over 100 perfumes but this is the one I find myself reaching for time and time again
Spring is here and I've now experienced the first evening I don't need a coat or jacket when leaving the house, which means it's time to swap out my perfume for something a little more weather appropriate.
In the cooler months the first thing I reach for is a warm vanilla like Noyz Unmute, which is $85 and once available at Harrods but now quite difficult to find in the UK, or the original Eilish by Billie Eilish which starts at a much more affordable £35.
But as soon as the weather heats up I'm shoving them aside for lighter scents that I daresay are even sweeter. I love a touch of floral dancing around a juicy and fruity gourmand when the weather's hot and for me Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar by Kayali does that perfectly.
It's a blend of very sweet notes like marshmallow, bubble gum, jellybean and sugar alongside violet leaves jasmine and even cashmere wood. The result is something moreish and seductive. I get constantly told 'you smell incredible' when I wear this, especially when paired with Coco & Eve's Glow Figure Whipped Body Cream in Dragonfruit and Lychee. At £24 a pot it's not cheap so I do reach for this more when I'm pampering myself or going out with friends.
I have well over 100 perfumes in my personal collection, which makes it difficult to make a dent in bottles majority of the time but I'm flying through my Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar and will likely run out before summer. The longevity is great although I do like to spritz it on a few times of an evening.
To this day my cousin asks me about this perfume and rushed out to our local shopping centre to try and recreate it herself. It's light, juicy, sweet and fresh all at the same time. I'm a huge fan of Kayali but I think this may be their best scent yet.
It's not just me who loves it, there are over 900 five-star reviews on Sephora's website. One shopper said: "Ever since I purchased this perfume, I've had multiple people stop me during the day at work or when I'm shopping or even just walking in the street they'll ask me what I'm wearing and they'll say that I smell very good this perfume is fantastic. I would buy it 100 times again."
A second wrote: "Bright, sugary goodness but she dries down in a classy, woody vanilla way. Somehow nostalgic for something from my late 90s-early 2000s childhood. I've been hunting for my signature scent for ages and got her last week, and this is it. I bought the 100ml last week but just bought the 10ml mini bottle to keep in my bag for refreshing on the go. We need this in a lotion, body spray, everything!"
A third said: "I got the travel size of this scent because I love the Yum Pistachio Gelato perfume, and this rivals for my new favourite!! When it dries down it smells so much like bubble-gum in the best way possible and lasts all day."
It is worth noting that this is a very sweet scent and probably not a good idea if you avoid sweet perfumes or find them sickly. Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar by Kayali is available for £73 when buying a 50ml bottle.

This thriller 'from the world of John Wick' has been a long time in the making: over three years since its leading lady was announced and eight since the script was first optioned following reshoots and reports that franchise creator Chad Stahelski took an active hand alongside director Len Wiseman. Happily, it emerges at last with enough inventive action to stand alongside its murderous predecessors, and makes Ana de Armas into a likeable assassin hero – a phrase that makes more sense in her killer-filled world than our own. She plays Eve, a girl orphaned by Gabriel Byrne's Chancellor. She is raised under the care of Anjelica Huston's director at a ballet school-stroke-assassin training academy, learning arts both delicate and deadly. But Eve never planned to simply make her living punching people's tickets: she has vengeance in mind. So far, so standard revenge plot: a nice twist here is that when her desire threatens all-out war between her tribe and the Chancellor's, Keanu Reeves' John Wick is pressed into action to stop her. There's a bit of business with Norman Reedus, as a defector from the Chancellor's cult, and Catalina Sandino Moreno as a rival assassin, but that's largely beside the point. Any Wick-adjacent film comes with the expectation that extreme violence will be dispensed and kill shots administered with abandon, and there this film eventually delivers. After a faltering first mission, Eve gets the hang of things, as demonstrated wittily via the bloody aftermath of a killing spree a few months later. You don't see enough flamethrower duels these days But it's when she finds a clue about her past and sets off on her own hunt that the film comes to life. You don't see enough flamethrower duels these days, and there are pleasingly inventive scenes, with smashed plates in a restaurant kitchen and grenades used as close-quarter weapons, that make up for the by-the-numbers plotting. If it's not quite as visually distinct as the neon-soaked Wick movies, it's close enough thanks to some nifty red smoke bombs, deployed early on, and all that fire. It helps that de Armas, like Reeves, makes a convincing ass-kicker: not invincible and prone to error, as befits a beginner, but formidable when she sets her sights on a target. Where Wick is reluctantly returning to the fray, wounded by loss and grief, she's all eagerness and rash enthusiasm, and must learn restraint. Well, some restraint. There are still flamethrowers to be fired up, after all, and idyllic mountain villages entirely peopled with murderers to be cleared out. This is a John Wick spinoff, after all.

NARS' new cream eyeshadow 'doesn't budge' on oily eyelids
The Total Seduction Eyeshadow Stick is available in 16 shades and is already a hit with beauty fans Adored makeup brand NARS has launched its brand-new summer makeup range. The Hot Escape Collection includes a range of new-season essentials that are available to shop now on the NARS website and nationwide. The collection features the Afterglow Lip Oil, Hot Escape Cheek Palettes, and a brand-new £28 eyeshadow stick that's already been dubbed the 'eyeshadow of dreams'. The Total Seduction Eyeshadow is a creamy matte-and-shimmer hybrid that beauty enthusiasts are calling 'the best product I've found.' Available in 16 shades, the formula promises an all-day, crease-resistant finish - even in the summer heat and humidity. One reviewer praised it for not budging even on oily eyelids, and in clinical trials, the colour stayed put for up to 16 hours, making it perfect for long beach days and hot city nights. As reported by OK!, when customers purchase two or more products from the Hot Escape collection, they will receive a free golden pouch at checkout when they enter the code GOLDEN. NARS isn't the only beauty brand making waves with fresh summer offerings at the moment. Kayali fans will be thrilled to learn that full-size versions of the much-talked-about 'Vacay in a Bottle' collection are now available, arriving just in time for the warmer months. After an initial launch as a discovery set, the four 50ml bottles can now be snapped up for £79 apiece from top retailers, including Cult Beauty. Total Seduction Eyeshadow stick £28 NARS Buy Now on NARS In addition, the OK! Beauty Box has unveiled a special edition Summer Beauty Box as a one-off purchase crammed with 12 dreamy products. Among the eight full-sized items are Trinny London's Golden Glow Bronzer and Hello Sunday's The Take-Out One Invisible Sun Stick. Nearly 200 NARS fans have shared their thoughts on the Total Seduction Eyeshadow. One buyer wrote: "I love these. Even with my oily eyelids, they don't budge, and the colours are stunning. I use these in lieu of an eyeliner pencil, and they work so well. I'm really pleased with my eyeshadow sticks. I would definitely repurchase." Another customer labelled it the 'eyeshadow of dreams' and commented: "I love this eyeshadow stick. I was amazed at how easy it was to apply and how nice it looked after application. I love the colour as you could use it on its own or apply another eyeshadow. There is no fallout from it, and you can apply it according to your preference." Some people are unfortunately less impressed, with one saying: "It doesn't blend that easily, and the colour lacks depth. You have to apply a couple of times for any colour. After a couple of hours, it went patchy even after primer." In contrast, another happy customer left a glowing review for the Total Seduction Eyeshadow: "Very blendable, super pigmented, the texture is sublime, so smooth just easily glides on the lid, and it doesn't move once set. I've got very sensitive eyes and didn't get a reaction. It's also easy to remove with makeup remover. I'm hooked." "Another great product from NARS," someone else added. "Perfect eyeshadow stick, extremely easy to use, has great pigment, blends super easily, and helps create gorgeous eye looks in seconds. One of my go-tos, especially to travel with. I always throw it in my makeup bag for evening looks."

Sexual predator Mohamed Al Fayed spied on customers using the changing rooms at Harrods for decades, according to claims made by his former bodyguard. Speaking in an explosive new book, the security man said there was a 'good chance' that shoppers using the facilities at the Knightsbridge store during his reign were being 'watched' by the serial rapist.
