Kayali launches full-size 'Vacay in a Bottle' perfumes

Fans of the discovery set will be excited to get their hands on the full-size 50ml bottles Sweet, dessert-inspired perfumes have dominated the fragrance scene over the past year, with brands like Tom Ford and Juliette Has a Gun making waves with cherry-drenched blends and syrupy gourmand twists. Among them, Kayali has carved out a reputation for rich, indulgent scents that smell good enough to eat - from its cult-favourite Yum Pistachio Gelato (£107) to the flirtatious Eden Juicy Apple (£98). Fans of the brand will be thrilled to know that Kayali has just dropped full-size bottles of its ' Vacay in a Bottle ' collection, just in time for summer. Originally released as a discovery set, the four 50ml bottles are now available for £79 each at major retailers including Cult Beauty. Each fragrance is inspired by an iconic getaway destination: Capri, Marrakesh, Maui, and the Maldives - bringing a different holiday fantasy to any scent wardrobe. Each bottle matches its destination - from ocean blue for Maui to golden sunset tones for Marrakesh - making them just as pretty on the shelf as they are on skin. Ahead of the launch, I tried Maui in a Bottle, a scent that promises 'sweet banana' vibes. Banana and coconut notes can often be artificial or overwhelming, but this one is light, breezy, and effortlessly tropical. Shop the range Product Description As it settles, it melts into an alluring, creamy dry down that feels warm, inviting, and surprisingly refined. In true Kayali fashion, the bottle is as Instagram-worthy as ever - a turquoise gem that evokes crystal-clear oceans and breezy beach days. The three other scents might tempt fragrance fans if this doesn't sound up their street. Marrakesh in a Bottle Orange Blossom is rich and warm, with pink pepper and Turkish rose to evoke Morocco's spice-filled souks and ornate markets. Meanwhile, Capri in a Bottle Lemon Sugar has a fresh and sparkling citrus scent with notes of lemon, sugar, freesia, and raspberry. Finally, Maldives in a Bottle Ylang Coco leans into rosemary, wild lemon and starfruit for that fresh-from-the-beach feel. These launches follow a broader trend from brands like Sol de Janerio and Maison Margiela, which have also embraced sun-inspired scents with gourmand or escapist twists. Sol de Janerio, for instance, has recently relaunched its cult-favourite Cheirosa 39, which sparked a petition with over 3,000 signatures that begged for its return. Maison Margiela has a whole host of summer fragrances in its Replica collection, all inspired by sunny days and holiday memories. That includes its ever-popular Beach Walks perfume, priced from £60, which is described as a 'bottled memory of sun-kissed salty skin.' But for those looking to bring that holiday feeling home - or add a new luxe scent to their summer rotation - the Vacay in a Bottle collection comes highly recommended by myself. Each scent is priced at £79 for a 50ml bottle.

Sol de Janeiro coconut scent is back after fans begged for its return

"Sol de Janeiro announced on their instagram that they will be re-releasing this one. I can't wait to finally try it." Fragrance fans have been lamenting for years the loss of Sol de Janeiro's 'most gorgeous' coconut scent. In fact, Cheirosa 39 was so missed that there's even a petition with over 3,000 signatures who begged for its return. Thankfully, the hair and body fragrance mist is finally back - and shoppers can get a 90ml bottle for £24 on LookFantastic. This summery scent opens up with a decadent coconut cream top note that instantly transports the wearer to beachy days ahead. Its wrapped up in a heart of vanilla and tropical orchid before settling down into a heart of toasted praline. It has been suggested that Cheirosa 39 is quite similar to Cheirosa 71 but 'with more coconut'. The latter has regularly been praised for being a sister to the cult classic Cheirosa 62 for cooler months with it's toasted nuts, chocolate and caramelised vanilla notes. While the limited-edition mist hasn't pulled in any reviews yet on LookFantastic, over on Fragrantica fragrance buffs have been buzzing about the scent for years. One fan said: "The most gorgeous coconut body mist to walk this earth. Luckily I had managed to get my hands on a 90ml through second hand; but omg it's so so worth the money i spent. I used two sprays alone, and it's lasted all day. The most delicious coconut opens it up immediately, then you get a white chocolatey dry down on my clothes atleast." A second penned: "I grabbed a small bottle at Sephora before this scent was discontinued, I wish I would've gotten a few big bottles. This is the most long lasting body mist in my collection and it smells so good. Creamy coconut and vanilla, perfect for layering. I love this layered with Yum Boujee Marshmallow by Kayali and Yum Pistachio Gelato, perfect long lasting combos that are guaranteed to get you compliments." For those interested in the Kayali scents mentioned in this review, both are priced at £79 each for a 50ml bottle. They're available at Cult Beauty and Boots. A third shopper wrote: "Sol de Janeiro announced on their instagram that they will be re-releasing this one. I can't wait to finally try it." A fourth added: "The fragrance community's BIGGEST loss known to mankind. This is the MOST gorgeous coconut scent and nothing else even comes close to it. I'm beyond upset that i got into it after it was discontinued. I ended up buying 4 of them from resellers and i still fear running out of this spray that i adore so much. I can't find anything quite like it at all- the other coconut scents tend to be sweeter or tropical." The main critique the scent has received online is how difficult it is to find. Shoppers might also want to keep in mind it doesn't have any caramel notes which Sol de Janeiro is widely recognised for.

'I've brought out my favourite spring perfume now the warm weather is back'

I have over 100 perfumes but this is the one I find myself reaching for time and time again Spring is here and I've now experienced the first evening I don't need a coat or jacket when leaving the house, which means it's time to swap out my perfume for something a little more weather appropriate. In the cooler months the first thing I reach for is a warm vanilla like Noyz Unmute, which is $85 and once available at Harrods but now quite difficult to find in the UK, or the original Eilish by Billie Eilish which starts at a much more affordable £35. But as soon as the weather heats up I'm shoving them aside for lighter scents that I daresay are even sweeter. I love a touch of floral dancing around a juicy and fruity gourmand when the weather's hot and for me Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar by Kayali does that perfectly. It's a blend of very sweet notes like marshmallow, bubble gum, jellybean and sugar alongside violet leaves jasmine and even cashmere wood. The result is something moreish and seductive. I get constantly told 'you smell incredible' when I wear this, especially when paired with Coco & Eve's Glow Figure Whipped Body Cream in Dragonfruit and Lychee. At £24 a pot it's not cheap so I do reach for this more when I'm pampering myself or going out with friends. I have well over 100 perfumes in my personal collection, which makes it difficult to make a dent in bottles majority of the time but I'm flying through my Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar and will likely run out before summer. The longevity is great although I do like to spritz it on a few times of an evening. To this day my cousin asks me about this perfume and rushed out to our local shopping centre to try and recreate it herself. It's light, juicy, sweet and fresh all at the same time. I'm a huge fan of Kayali but I think this may be their best scent yet. It's not just me who loves it, there are over 900 five-star reviews on Sephora's website. One shopper said: "Ever since I purchased this perfume, I've had multiple people stop me during the day at work or when I'm shopping or even just walking in the street they'll ask me what I'm wearing and they'll say that I smell very good this perfume is fantastic. I would buy it 100 times again." A second wrote: "Bright, sugary goodness but she dries down in a classy, woody vanilla way. Somehow nostalgic for something from my late 90s-early 2000s childhood. I've been hunting for my signature scent for ages and got her last week, and this is it. I bought the 100ml last week but just bought the 10ml mini bottle to keep in my bag for refreshing on the go. We need this in a lotion, body spray, everything!" A third said: "I got the travel size of this scent because I love the Yum Pistachio Gelato perfume, and this rivals for my new favourite!! When it dries down it smells so much like bubble-gum in the best way possible and lasts all day." It is worth noting that this is a very sweet scent and probably not a good idea if you avoid sweet perfumes or find them sickly. Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar by Kayali is available for £73 when buying a 50ml bottle.
