Le Feast, which is located in Bolton train station, opened its doors to customers - and commuters - six months ago offering an array of artisan treats and Italian-roasted coffee.

Although it is still fairly new, Le Feast has already seen massive success and has now launched its summer menu featuring iced strawberry and vanilla premium-grade matcha, iced lemon tea and iced chai lattes.

Speaking to The Bolton News Le Feast manager Courtney Sixsmith said: 'We have perfected our summer menu this year by using feedback from our Bolton customers.
'We use high-grade quality Japanese matcha for the drinks and have worked to perfect the recipe. We've found the right flavour pairings to compliment the taste. The matcha and chai are available hot or iced.
"We've really invested time into training the team, so every drink is made to perfection.
"Managing Le Feast Bolton since we first opened has been and continues to be such a special journey.
"Getting to know our amazing regular customers, the daily chats, laughter, and seeing customers leave happy and satisfied always brightens my day.
"I'm passionate about delivering the best service and meeting our customers' needs. It's also lovely welcoming new faces every day and feeling the ongoing support from everyone.
"I couldn't be prouder of my team. Their hard work, dedication, and positivity never go unnoticed, and I feel so lucky to work alongside them.
"A huge thank you to Jeremy Clark, Jason Cotillard, and Brenden Wilkinson. Their support, guidance, encouragement, and the time they've invested in me have been a huge part of my journey so far.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities they've given me and everything they continue to do. I feel so lucky to be part of the Le Feast family."
Le Feast Operations Manager Brenden Wilkinson added: 'Of course, we'll still be selling our usual favourites including sandwiches and toasties from local suppliers. Right down to the butter we use for the bread.

'We use butter on all our sandwiches, it just creates a better, richer flavour. We don't like to cut corners, it's the little things – people are able to tell the difference.
'We're looking forward to the future, we are so grateful for how much the business has taken off and are hoping to introduce new menu items, such as flatbreads, looking forward.
'Customers have come on that journey with us, so it's a two-way relationship. We also recently received our five-star hygiene rating, which is a testament to the brand's attention to detail and high-quality products. "We've really interacted with our Bolton customers to get their feedback and find out what they want to see from us."

'It's great that we are able to feed off of their enthusiasm and we have many more exciting ideas planned for the future.'
As well as being available to order online, La Feast also accepts pre-orders so those expecting to visit the station at a certain time can collect their sandwiches quickly and never miss the train.

Breville's Luxe Brews Great Drip Coffee—and Makes Real-Deal Cold Brew

The new Breville Luxe Brewer is designed for hot coffee. It makes excellent, subtle, hot drip coffee. But it also does something that almost no other fancy coffee maker on the market achieves. It makes real cold brew coffee—the sweet and gentle stuff, the cool elixir of smooth summers and milky heaven. The Luxe is part of a new generation of drip coffee makers that has helped transform drip coffee from bitter office fuel into a subject for connoisseurship. The Luxe's predecessor, the Precision Brewer, was one of only a handful certified by the Specialty Coffee Association to brew drip coffee according to narrow benchmarks on temperature and extraction. The Luxe, though not yet certified, brews according to these same exacting criteria. The Luxe achieves this feat through a whole lot of technical sophistication. This means PID temperature controllers, tightly controlled flow rates, programmable algorithms for different water volumes, and the same thermocoil heating technology and pump you'd use to make espresso. But the Luxe makes cold brew, blessedly, by leaving it alone. Real cold brew is made only with coffee, water, and time. Messing with this formula, or hurrying it up, never quite gives you the real thing. The Luxe gives you the real thing—holding room-temp water and coffee grounds in suspension for as long as 24 hours before releasing it into a waiting carafe. In a world of coffee makers desperate to screw up cold brew, leaving it alone amounts to wild innovation. I haven't seen this function in any coffee maker not made by Breville. The device isn't perfect, of course. There are some quirks. But the Luxe is an impressive machine that keeps Breville in the conversation when it comes to the best drip coffee devices out there. The Fast Drip Photograph: Matthew Korfhage Before we return to cold brew, let's talk drip coffee. It's good. The Luxe is a handsome device, and also a big one: It makes 12 cups of coffee in a batch, as big as the biggest office brewers but much more gentle and precise in how it brews big-batch coffee. The device is programmable in most of its particulars. By clicking the settings option, coffee geeks are free to create their own custom criteria, modulating the brew temp to an accuracy of a single degree. Other settings adjust the size and time of a pour-over-style bloom, and the flow rate of coffee through a shower-style brew head. But most people won't bother. If you press the 'brew' button, the device will sense the amount of water in the removable water reservoir and brew accordingly. For small-batch coffee below 20 ounces, you'll use a conical basket insert and conical paper filters. For larger batches, you'll use flat-bottom filters and the default flat-bottom brewing basket.

Samsung Drops Galaxy S25 Ultra Price In Major New Double Offer

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is included in another major promotion. (Photo by Firdous ... More Nazir/NurPhoto via Getty Images) Deal hunters should rejoice because June has bought about the best smartphone deals I have seen all year. First Apple raised its trade-in prices, Samsung then went even further and Google ultimately beat them both with eye-wateringly high trade-in valuations. Now, Samsung is back with a brand new double discount for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This story was updated on June 28th with a new Samsung deal. Update below. In an effort to push people to buy hardware through its Samsung Shop app, the company will knock 10% off the Galaxy S25 series if the code 'JUNE25' is used. This only applies to shoppers in the U.K., but let me know if it works elsewhere. This isn't the first time Samsung has randomly dropped a new limited-time code. Back in February, the Korean company launched a promotional 'S25APP' code that knocked 5% off the Galaxy S25 lineup when bought through the app. This new voucher doubles the company's last offer and is consistent with the sheer deluge of deals Samsung is rolling out right now. It's worth noting that Samsung runs a permanent voucher code ('APP5') when you buy anything in its shopping app. The company will also throw in discounts if several devices are bought together, which aren't always promoted. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to the bundle discounts because I often just add things to my basket to see what promotions they trigger. For this S25 deal, the voucher isn't the only promotion Samsung is currently running for its flagship phone. It will pay at least £200 ($272.15) when you trade in any Android phone. The Korean company is also giving away a free Galaxy Tab A9 Plus (until June 26th) with all S25 purchases (base and Ultra models). Samsung's New Galaxy Phone Discount Strategy the new Galaxy S25 Edge has seen some of Samsung's best offers yet. The star of the show, however, is Samsung's new trade-in pricing for British shoppers. Historically, U.S. Samsung smartphone customers get access to free subscriptions and huge trade-in deals that pay hundreds of dollars for years-old phones. In the U.K., the trade-in prices are poor, but British shoppers get free devices bundled with their Galaxy phones. The Korean company has changed that with new pricing, which not only raises trade-in valuations for U.K. customers but also beats U.S. pricing in some places. So British shoppers get a free tablet and trade-in prices that beat the historically high American valuations. Not only is this a solid deal, it's a good omen for people in the U.K. who want to buy Samsung phones in the future. It's not clear why Samsung upped its trade-in prices, or why it is repeatedly combining several generous deals. Perhaps it wants to clear stock before the imminent Galaxy Z Fold 7 release, or reports about slow Galaxy S25 Edge sales are accurate. What is clear, however, is that Google's latest Samsung-busting trade-in deal, and Apple's brief trade-in promotion, shows that major smartphone manufacturers are in a discount dogfight. Which is, of course, very food news for budget-conscious deal hunters. Make sure you don't miss a deal by hitting the follow button below. Update June 28th: Samsung is emailing registered users about its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 device with two discount offers. Of course, the device isn't mentioned by name, but it's an open secret that the Fold 7 and Flip 7 will land on July 9th, with the Korean company itself repeatedly teasing both devices. Samsung is handing out £50 ($68.61) vouchers to whoever fills in its marketing questionnaire. It's a short survey that asks what phone you're currently using, what specifications are important to you and where you buy your phones from. The company will then send the voucher, which can only be used on buying one of the new foldable phones, by July 9th. There's also the option to reserve the device with a refundable deposit, which comes with a free unnamed accessory (likely a phone case). Elsewhere, Samsung is offering £25 ($34.31) off of a 'Galaxy ecosystem device,' which likely refers to the new Galaxy Watch 8 or existing wearables. These pre-release offers are fairly standard for the company. It rolled out an almost identical promotion ahead of the Galaxy S25 launch in February. If you're dead set on buying the Fold 7, there's no harm in claiming your free voucher now. Although, as we've seen with repeated Fold 6 and Galaxy S25 price drops, it's always better to wait for bigger savings in a couple of months.

Bolton Wanderers end tie-up with sports data firm Ludonautics after two years

WANDERERS have ended their relationship with sports advisory firm Ludonautics. The club has confirmed that the link-up, which was agreed two years ago to give them access to high-end scouting data, has been cut. Advertisement Ludonautics were given B class shares in Bolton's parent company, Football Ventures (Whites) limited, two years ago in exchange for access to data which they felt would help them improve recruitment, specifically overseas. The parting of ways is understood to have been amicable, with Wanderers now shifting back to a more traditional blend of data and in-person scouting under new sporting director, Fergal Harkin. A spokesperson for the club told The Bolton News: 'Our partnership with Ludonautics has ended. We are extremely grateful to Ian (Graham) and his team for their help and expertise on the specific projects we partnered on.' Ludonautics was founded by former Liverpool director of research Ian Graham, who worked in Jurgen Klopp's data room alongside Michael Edwards to create a Premier League and Champions League winning squad between 2012 and 2023. Advertisement Graham was responsible for one of the Premier League's first in-house analytics departments, which paved the way for the data boom of the 2020s but the link with Bolton has not proved as productive as it was originally hoped. Mr Graham said: 'Despite our professional partnership coming to an end, I wish BWFC nothing but success both now and in the future. It was a pleasure to work with and assist their progressive ownership and management team for the period we did."
