The Kelly Brothers and Sugar Street joined Goodall in performing famous songs from Journey, Boston, and Toto. Goodall says Friday night is his one-year anniversary since taking the stage. He said he's had a great time traveling the world and getting to meet new people.
'Today is the anniversary of when I stepped on that stage,' said Goodall. 'One year ago today, I was climbing up on that stage just to give it my shot and had absolutely no clue what was going to transpire after that. Had an amazing time. People are just so great and wonderful. I am so grateful for everything that has been going on.'
Goodall says he has a lot of plans in the works, and people can stay updated through his Facebook page.

Sabrina Carpenter Old Facebook Post, Taylor Swift Collab
On Wednesday, Taylor Swift announced the tracklist for her highly anticipated 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and confirmed that the record's title track will feature Sabrina Carpenter. As I'm sure you know, 26-year-old Sabrina's music career exploded while she was supporting Taylor on her record-breaking Eras tour, but she had been tirelessly working to break into the mainstream since she was a literal child. And she actually first found success as an actor, landing her breakout role at the age of 14 when she was cast in the Disney Channel sitcom, Girl Meets World. But it seems as though music was always Sabrina's main passion, and while she released her first album way back in 2015, she didn't achieve widespread recognition until the success of her 2022 album, Emails I Can't Send. The following year, Taylor booked Sabrina as the support act for some of her stadium shows, and her career absolutely skyrocketed, with Sab undeniably one of the biggest names in pop music at the moment. During this time, Sabrina and Taylor developed a pretty close friendship, and in 2024, Sabrina even joined Taylor on the Eras stage twice for surprise performances — much to the delight of fans. And now, Sabrina has a feature on Taylor's upcoming album, and if her digital footprint is anything to go by, then she'll be seriously pinching herself over it. You see, Sabrina was incredibly active online throughout her childhood, and made no secret of how much she adored Taylor during this time. For example, in March 2010, when she was just 10 years old, Sabrina tweeted: 'Going to see Taylor tonight!!! i'm so excited : D.' She followed up with: 'The Taylor Swift concert was amazing, had so much fun I cant wait to have a world tour someday like hers! lol with 2 sold out shows!!!!!' And following the 'The Life of a Showgirl' collab announcement, another wholesome social media post has resurfaced online, this time from Sabrina's official Facebook page. The post was also made when Sabrina was 10 years old, in August 2009, and reads: 'was trying to enter a Taylor Swift karaoke contest to win tickets and a chance to meet her but they said I had to be 13 : (' A Taylor fan account shared a screenshot of this post alongside Taylor's new tracklist and simply wrote: '16 years later,' in a tweet that has been seen more than two million times in just over 24 else quote-tweeted this and added: 'the feature being the title track too. sabrina really won at life.''Sab is the final boss when it comes to manifesting and she be WINNING!' another replied, and one more joked: 'I'm so happy for my close friend sabrina carpenter.'Somebody else tweeted: 'sabrina should be annoying asf about this taylor collab cause if EYE got to be on a song with someone ive idolized for well over a decade, i'd never shut up about it.' Famed jazz group gives spontaneous in-flight performance amid delays
No one likes being stuck on an airplane longer than absolutely necessary, so when a famous jazz group aboard an Alaska Airlines flight was asked to help lift the spirits of their fellow severely delayed passengers with a live musical interlude, they happily busted out horns and played the unlikely venue. In a now-viral video, Dave Koz and the Summer Horns performed their rendition of Stevie Wonder's "You Haven't Done Nothing" in an impromptu concert amidst a slew of delays, diversions and timed-out staff en route from St. Louis to their next tour stop in Seattle. The moment took place in the wee hours early Tuesday morning on the tarmac after their flight was diverted to Boise, Idaho, the namesake saxophonist told "Good Morning America." That's when Koz said most people were "at their breaking point" and "this wonderful flight attendant" stepped in to see if their group would want to provide some in-flight entertainment. "Charlene was like, 'Can you guys play?'" fellow saxophonist Marcus Anderson added. "We end up getting our instruments out and everyone's excited and all these phones are coming out -- we're just thinking about giving people a great concert on an airplane." They selected a song from their show set list and played it with as many of the 16 band members who had carried on equipment, including more brass from Jeff Bradshaw on trombone, Evan Taylor on trumpet and Leo P on baritone saxophone. "All of us were involved and including our band members, even if they couldn't break out their guitars and basses, they were slapping along," Koz said. "People were clapping. It was great vibes. It was great energy," Anderson said, adding that little kids recorded the video and were already watching it back in their seats after they concluded. "We got the video content from people, and I said, 'Hey, Dave, I'm going to post it and share it.' By the time we get off the plane -- it was trailing close to maybe 200,000 views," Anderson explained of the initial explosion in social media interest. "It started skyrocketing." Collectively across Instagram and Facebook, at the of time of publication, the clip has amassed over 2 million views with thousands of comments hailing the smooth jazz legends for their "playover" performance. "We were just taking a moment trying to make lemonade with lemons, and it tasted very good," Anderson, whom Koz called "the future of the saxophone," said. "We brought the we brought the concert to all those incredible passengers, not just on stage, but on the plane as well." Koz said he's "never played on a plane" before that, whereas Anderson once performed a solo version of "America the Beautiful" on Fourth of July. Alaska Airlines did not immediately respond to request for comment. "This really taps into everybody's sort of frustration right now of traveling in the United States, where you feel so out of control, and this feeling of like you just don't know what to do," Koz explained. "We were able to sort of channel that energy and turn the vibe completely."

After rowdy youth disrupt Movie Mondays, Erie Downtown Partnership cancels remaining films
The Erie Downtown Partnership has canceled its weekly Movie Mondays in Perry Square in the wake of two large disturbances at the event in June and July involving large groups of local youth. Calling the move a 'difficult decision,' the Downtown Partnership on July 26 announced the cancellation of the three remaining Movie Mondays dates on its Facebook page. The free event, which features family-friendly movies, takes place in Perry Square. 'Despite great efforts to increase security, the events have become an attraction for escalating disruptive and dangerous behavior and cancelling the series seems to be our only path forward to ensure Downtown and Perry Square remain safe for everyone,' the Facebook post states. 'Though we explored a change in location and/or operations with several different partners, no such changes were feasible within our downtown district this late in the season.' The Downtown Partnership also thanked its event sponsors and partners. The nonprofit's Facebook post had been viewed more than 1,100 times and had been shared more than 300 times as of July 28. The event features family-friendly movies cancellations include scheduled showings of 'Muppet Treasure Island' on July 28, 'The Avengers' on Aug. 11 and 'Wicked' on Aug. 25. What prompted this decision? The first incident at Movie Mondays took place June 16, during a screening of 'The Incredibles.' Children and adults had gathered in the west side of the downtown Erie park to watch the film when, according to Erie police, a crowd of up to 150 juveniles showed up. Police said members of the group were running around, standing in the roadway and blocking traffic, and being loud and disruptive. Officers were called to the area and ushered the group to the east park at Perry Square, where they eventually dispersed, police said. Roughly 30 minutes later, a large group returned and another disturbance broke out, including a few fights, police said. The movie ended about 10 minutes early and one person was charged with disorderly conduct, police said. Another disturbance involving a large group of 'rowdy' youths broke out at Perry Square and created disruptions during the Movie Mondays screening of 'Moana'on July 14, Erie Police Chief Dan Spizarny said. Police knew about the cancellation of the remaining Movie Mondays before the Downtown Partnership announced it publicly, Spizarny said. 'We stayed in regular contact with (the Downtown Partnership) about this since the first disturbance,' Spizarny said. 'We tried some different things, like extra officers and they had private security. But the amount of kids coming down and disrupting the event was just unmanageable, unfortunately.' Spizarny said large groups of youths 'showed up unescorted and they were not there for the movie. They would run around chasing each other and next thing you know someone would be in a fight. Then multiple fights would break out.' 'Complex issues' Following the June 16 Movie Mondays disturbance, the Downtown Partnership posted on Facebook that the incident was 'in direct conflict with the organization's mission of creating a safe, fun and welcoming downtown. 'We recognize that this incident prompts several other concerns: What need is being overlooked among the youth of our community that may result in these actions? What are we lacking in Erie in terms of a safe third space for these teens to gather without incident? How can we collaborate with our community partners to meet that need?' the organization previously stated on Facebook. "These are complex issues, but Erie Downtown Partnership is committed to contributing to a solution that works to address these needs and creates a better downtown experience for all.'
