Sabrina Carpenter Old Facebook Post, Taylor Swift Collab
As I'm sure you know, 26-year-old Sabrina's music career exploded while she was supporting Taylor on her record-breaking Eras tour, but she had been tirelessly working to break into the mainstream since she was a literal child.
And she actually first found success as an actor, landing her breakout role at the age of 14 when she was cast in the Disney Channel sitcom, Girl Meets World.
But it seems as though music was always Sabrina's main passion, and while she released her first album way back in 2015, she didn't achieve widespread recognition until the success of her 2022 album, Emails I Can't Send.
The following year, Taylor booked Sabrina as the support act for some of her stadium shows, and her career absolutely skyrocketed, with Sab undeniably one of the biggest names in pop music at the moment.
During this time, Sabrina and Taylor developed a pretty close friendship, and in 2024, Sabrina even joined Taylor on the Eras stage twice for surprise performances — much to the delight of fans.
And now, Sabrina has a feature on Taylor's upcoming album, and if her digital footprint is anything to go by, then she'll be seriously pinching herself over it.
You see, Sabrina was incredibly active online throughout her childhood, and made no secret of how much she adored Taylor during this time. For example, in March 2010, when she was just 10 years old, Sabrina tweeted: 'Going to see Taylor tonight!!! i'm so excited : D.'
She followed up with: 'The Taylor Swift concert was amazing, had so much fun I cant wait to have a world tour someday like hers! lol with 2 sold out shows!!!!!'
And following the 'The Life of a Showgirl' collab announcement, another wholesome social media post has resurfaced online, this time from Sabrina's official Facebook page.
The post was also made when Sabrina was 10 years old, in August 2009, and reads: 'was trying to enter a Taylor Swift karaoke contest to win tickets and a chance to meet her but they said I had to be 13 : ('
A Taylor fan account shared a screenshot of this post alongside Taylor's new tracklist and simply wrote: '16 years later,' in a tweet that has been seen more than two million times in just over 24 hours.Somebody else quote-tweeted this and added: 'the feature being the title track too. sabrina really won at life.''Sab is the final boss when it comes to manifesting and she be WINNING!' another replied, and one more joked: 'I'm so happy for my close friend sabrina carpenter.'Somebody else tweeted: 'sabrina should be annoying asf about this taylor collab cause if EYE got to be on a song with someone ive idolized for well over a decade, i'd never shut up about it.'
And if you're wondering how Sabrina herself reacted to the collab, she shared the news on her Instagram story and excitedly added: 'i know someone who's freaking out and it's me.'
The Life of a Showgirl will be released on October 3rd, and if you want to know what each song on the tracklist could be about, check out our definitive breakdown here!
In the meantime, let me know your thoughts on Sabrina's old social media posts in the comments below!

The Rainmaker Stars Reveal How the Iconic Book Came to Life
Originally appeared on E! Online Court is now in session. Nearly three decades after John Grisham's best-selling legal novel The Rainmaker first graced screens in Frances Ford Coppola's star-studded 1997 film, John Slattery and Milo Callaghan are breathing new life into the story with their USA Network courtroom drama. And that means taking a whole lot of creative liberties to stretch the story it across the 10-episode first season. 'The departures were pretty significant,' Slattery told E! News in an exclusive joint interview with Callaghan, 'and having read the book and seen the movie, you look at the scripts and the source material is only relevant to a certain degree. Then you just shoot scene by scene and hope they stack up to something interesting.' Those departures went far beyond those like Lana Parilla stepping into the role of the previously male role of 'Bruiser' Stone, the legal adversary to Slattery's Leo Drummond. In fact, the case that jumpstarts the career of new law grad Rudy Baylor (Callaghan) is transformed from the book's insurance bad faith suit to a hospital wrongful death—complete with an unnerving, slippery nurse (Dan Fogler) looming in the background. More from E! Online And Just Like That Season 3: How Finale Ended the Sex and the City Story After 27 Years Jason Kelce Gets Emotional Over Taylor Swift's Adorable Comment About Travis Kelce Travis Kelce Shares Heart-Melting Reason He Wanted to Date Taylor Swift After Eras Tour And then there's Rudy himself, whose legal course is defined by his quest to live up to the legacy of his late, aspiring lawyer brother John. 'I'm a brother, and if I lost a brother in that way, I think that would really create a chasm in my in my life that you spend the rest of your life trying to stitch up, essentially,' Callaghan explained. 'And his brother, we don't know too much about his brother at the beginning, other than he was going to be a lawyer and he was a high achiever.' Those are big shoes to fill, and for Rudy, balancing his ambition and fierce principles come at a cost, namely the brand-new job at the glossy firm run by Leo Drummond, where his girlfriend Sarah Plankmore (Madison Iseman) quickly finds herself on the rise. Ultimately, Callaghan sees Rudy's crashing and burning right off the bat as a crucial course-correction, sharing, 'I really think that when he's fired, good luck or bad luck, who knows, but it puts him on a trajectory which brings him back to himself.' In fact, it leads to Rudy facing off against Leo—and Sarah—as he attempts to hold the hospital they represent accountable after the death of a patient in its care. With that, the cast spent a lot of time immersing themselves in the 'quite rigorous legal academia,' as Callaghan put it. Crucially, however, viewers don't need three years of law school to unpack all the rapid-fire legalese—in large part thanks to Slattery's character. 'Leo's function was also to sort of explain,' the Mad Men alum noted. 'Somebody would say something, and I, as Leo, would say, 'Well, what he actually means is, you know, blah, blah, blah' to the jury and try to win them over that way. Like he's trying to be highfalutin here, but what he's really saying is to the audience as well.' Though audiences are just getting introduced to this newest iteration of Rudy Baylor and Leo Drummond, the stars are already raring to go for another courtroom showdown in a possible second season. And for them, it's an opportunity to explore the Rainmaker world outside the framework of the 1995 novel. 'I would definitely be interested,' Slattery shared, though the Spotlight alum admitted that as for what it would look like, 'I don't know what I don't know. That's a common thing where the first season is the book or source material, and then if it were to go further, you'd have to cook up a whole other scenario—which I'm sure they're more than capable of doing.' After all, Grisham has written more than 50 books—including dozens of best-selling legal thrillers—making for ample material to possibly pull from. 'Get a little Grisham universe going,' Callaghan posited. 'I'd be up for that.' The Rainmaker premieres August 15 on USA Network. How Taylor Swift is reinventing her style for a new 'Showgirl' era
Swift recently unveiled a series of extravagant outfits for her new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," featuring plenty of crystals and scalloped diamonds. Another album, another standout sartorial era. On Wednesday night, Taylor Swift unveiled the track list and album artwork for her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will be released on Oct. 3. Just as the album's title suggests, Swift has so far referenced burlesque imagery in her looks, with feathered boas, opulent headpieces and scalloped diamonds fit for the most glamorous burlesque dancer. With help from luxury houses like Area, The Blonds and Rene Caovilla, Swift's Showgirl era is already underscoring that more is more — and that a true Vegas showgirl always embraces excess. For the album cover of The Life of a Showgirl, Swift wore an intricate, crystal-embellished minidress with a balconette-style bra and scalloped cutouts from embellishment designer Area. The garment hails from the brand's spring 2022 collection and is a nod to what Vogue describes as 'the glitz of an off-duty Vegas dancer.' Art Deco-inspired glamour appears to be the theme of Swift's recently unveiled Showgirl era. Also among her featured album artwork ensembles is a rhinestone-encrusted, deep red one-piece with a corseted bodice and pointed accents along the bust from The Blonds fall-winter 2024 collection. Swift completed the look with matching opera gloves and knee-high boots, along with her signature fishnet tights. Swift's voluminous ostrich feather Showgirl look is from The Blond's fall 2025 collection too. Sarah Chappelle, a Swift-focused fashion critic, notes how the brand's designers previously said that their muse for this specific collection was a 'model, showgirl, it-girl, or an actress' — appropriate descriptors for Swift's Deco-coded sartorial era. The False God hitmaker paired the extravagant, light pink getup with a crystal headpiece and chandelier wrap-around sandals by Rene Caovilla. Swift's Showgirl style is capturing the attention of both Swifties and high-fashion aficionados in general. Jack Savoie, a stylist and content creator, was delighted by Swift's commitment to the maximalist allure of Vegas showgirl dressing. 'This era is pure glamour,' Savoie told Yahoo. 'The crystals, sweeping feathers, and gorgeous heels. It's a celebration of beauty and craftsmanship. I think it's right on trend especially after Pamela Anderson's role in The Last Showgirl. Showgirl dressing requires lots of time, details, craftsmanship and artistry, and I can only imagine the joy her stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, is having creating these unforgettable looks.' That Swift is clad in decadent designs isn't anything new. The Guilty as Sin pop star has proved herself to be a high-fashion darling, as she made clear with the slew of custom designer looks she wore during her record-breaking Eras Tour, which concluded late last year. Vivienne Westwood, Roberto Cavalli and Alberta Ferretti are just a handful of designers who helped bring Swift's distinct eras to life through fashion. With The Life of a Showgirl, Swift takes the glitz and glamour peppered through prior eras to showstopping new heights. She first gave audiences a taste of her Showgirl inclinations with the 'Bejeweled' music video from her Midnights era, tapping famed burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese to re-create her sultry martini-glass dance in the video. In another scene from the video, Swift has a major Moulin Rouge! moment in a custom, crystal two-piece designed by Michael Schmidt Studios. While on Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast, New Heights, Wednesday night, Swift unveiled the inspiration behind The Life of a Showgirl era: She wanted to dramatize the realities of life on the road. Swift visited 21 countries over the course of 21 months during the Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023 and concluded in December 2024. Clocking in 149 shows across five continents, it became the highest-grossing tour of all time. 'My day ends with me in a bathtub, not usually in a bedazzled dress. … I wanted to sort of, like, glamorize all the aspects of how the tour felt,' Swift said on the podcast. 'The reason I wanted to have an offstage moment as the main album cover is because this album isn't really about what happened to me onstage. It's about what I was going through offstage.'

Taylor Swift's Album Of The Year Winner Returns Amidst New Music Excitement
Taylor Swift has made it abundantly clear that the latter half of 2025 will belong to her. The singer-songwriter recently announced a new album, The Life of a Showgirl, and in short order shared both its brightly-hued cover and its October 3 release date. Before any music from her latest era has been released, speculation about a new chapter has helped many of Swift's most popular projects rise in the United Kingdom, and one of her more recent sets returns to the most important list. Midnights Returns to the U.K. Albums Chart Midnights finds its way back to the Official Albums chart, the U.K.'s list that details the 100 most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the country. This frame, Swift's bestseller reenters at No. 92. Folklore, The Tortured Poets Department, Reputation and Lover With Midnights back on the all-encompassing Official Albums chart, Swift now claims five wins this week. Her other four titles — Folklore, The Tortured Poets Department, Reputation, and Lover — all climb from where they sat last time. This frame, they appear at Nos. 34, 49, 72, and 75, respectively. Midnights Spent Five Weeks at No. 1 Midnights has not been absent from the Official Albums chart for long. The project last appeared in late June of this year, ending a years-long winning streak that began in May 2023. Swift launched Midnights at No. 1 in November 2022. The project spent five frames leading the tally and a total of 57 turns somewhere between Nos. 1 and 10. Half a Dozen Streaming Successes As Midnights returns to the Official Albums chart, it also improves on the Official Albums Streaming ranking, pushing from No. 92 to No. 84. Swift fills half a dozen spots on that roster, as all five of her titles that live on the main albums tally are also streaming winners. 1989 also joins in on the run, as it rises from No. 99 to No. 97 on the streaming-only list, but fails to reenter the main albums list. Midnights Produced Eight Hit Songs Eight songs from Midnights reached the Official Singles chart during promotion of the title, but only 'Anti-Hero' but No. 1, where it spent six frames. 'Snow on the Beach,' her collaboration with Lana Del Rey, and 'Lavender Haze' also spent time inside the top 10, peaking at Nos. 4 and 3, respectively. Including deluxe editions of the full-length, the project produced additional top 40 wins like 'Karma,' 'Hits Different,' and 'You're Losing Me.'
