Then they resumed firing and shot my father and uncle," she said, adding that the assailants claimed their religion was "in danger" because of the Hindus.
She further compared the method of the assault to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. "The terrorists attacked only the men. It was very similar to what happened during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Spring Semiconductors will develop a specialised curriculum to train local youth in semiconductor manufacturing and design. The training will involve six months of instruction in Telangana followed by international internships in countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan,' Ku stated. Rajasthan influencers hand out beer to commuters, viral video sparks backlash
Seven social media influencers were arrested in Rajasthan's Jaipur after a video of them distributing alcohol on a busy road emerged on the Internet, triggering widespread outrage. The incident took place on Nirjala Ekadashi, a significant religious observance for Hindus. The viral video features influencer Sachin Singh, also known as Lappu Sachin, along with six others, distributing bottles and glasses of beer to commuters on a busy street in Jaipur. At one point in the video, an auto-rickshaw driver is allegedly forced to drink a glass of beer before driving away. The accused arrested were identified as Sachin Singh, Pradeep Kadwasra, Vikas Verma, Abhishek Nirmal, Sunil Kumar, Aditya Mahariya, and Ankit Meghwal, according to a report in NDTV. Their 'alcohol party' drew mixed reactions from commuters. While some appeared uncomfortable, others laughed and participated. During the police interrogation, the group claimed they had no intention of offending anyone and stated that the act was carried out solely to gain followers on social media. Following their arrest, the influencers issued a video apology, in which they can be seen kneeling, holding their ears, and appearing disheveled, some with torn clothing. Tension grips Bengal's Maheshtala amid clash over temple vandalism, 13 arrested
Tension gripped in Bengal's Maheshtala in South 24 Parganas after a violent clash broke out between two groups, leading to the alleged vandalism of a Shiva temple. The situation prompted heavy police deployment and the prohibitory order of Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) has been imposed to maintain law and to police sources, 13 people have been arrested so far in connection with the incident, and raids are ongoing. Several arrests were made,' a police officer unrest reportedly started after a dispute over the construction of shops in front of a Shiva temple in Maheshtala. As per eyewitnesses, chaos broke out when mobs pelted stones at police, torched vehicles, and clashed with authorities outside the Rabindranagar Police Station. 'Bricks were hurled from rooftops, tyres were set ablaze on the roads, and miscreants torched a motorbike in front of the police station,' said a police officer. 'Several police vehicles were damaged, and at least one police personnel was left bleeding after being hit by a brick.'To contain the violence, police fired tear gas shells, and reinforcements from Kolkata and the Rapid Action Force (RAF) were deployed.
