'Brits have work affairs all the time and cheating was the best thing I ever did'

Daily Mirror2 days ago
EXCLUSIVE: A mum who had a ten-year affair before exposing the scandal with damning texts has claimed Brits are fascinated by cheating because many are in secret relationships themselves
An infamous mum claims affairs are happening in most workplaces in Britain and that cheating was the "best" decision she ever made.

Carla Bellucci opened up about infidelity after labelling it 'insane' that Astronomer's CEO and HR boss both resigned after their Coldplay kiss cam scandal. Speaking to The Mirror, she said: 'Everyone in the office has affairs, we all know it. If they were all exposed we would have no working people and everyone would have to resign – it would be a nightmare.'

The former glamour model met her now husband Giovanni Pincay in a photography studio before the pair, who were both married to other people, had an affair that lasted ten years.

Carla, who just turned 44, was a single mum throughout most of it but the man she was seeing remained married with a family of his own. However, after a decade of secrecy, Carla exposed the affair in 2019 by sending messages and pictures to Giovanni's shocked wife.
This eventually led to Carla and Giovanni marrying themselves in 2023 and the couple, who consider themselves to be 'soulmates', share a daughter together called Blu.

This experience made her fascinated by the viral reaction to the Coldplay video involving the former Astronomer employees, but as for why it garnered so much public interest, she offered this theory.
'It is probably because 99% of people can relate and so many people are in situations and just don't admit to it,' she said. 'I think people love to gossip and see people fall, It is life unfortunately.'
Carla, once labelled 'Britain's most hated woman' after her notorious This Morning appearance, said she has been publicly shamed for cheating in the past, but she has no regrets.

She said: 'It is simple, people who are happy do not cheat. We cheat because we are looking for something more because our relationship is not right. For me, it was the best decision I ever made because we are happy and live a good life.'
However, she added: 'I wouldn't cheat again, it's a lot of heartache and people get hurt. But I 100% have no regrets, maybe I could have handled it differently but I never live in regret. Me and Gio were meant to be together, end of!'
Carla and her husband live together in Hithin, Herts, and the mum-of-four believes a lot of people who are cheating want to be caught and that their partners often suspect something, but are too scared to disrupt things.
Offering her own advice, she concluded: 'For all you women or men out there that have that gut feeling something is not right, go with it because it's not.
'Don't waste your time staying with someone that cheated on you, it will never work. Wake up and move on. At the end of the day you do you, happiness is everything.'

Strictly's Dianne Buswell opens up on her future baby plans with boyfriend Joe Sugg and reveals why she's not worried about taking a break from her career to have children

has opened up on her future baby plans with boyfriend Joe Sugg. The dancer, 36, and her YouTuber partner, 33, struck up a romance when they were paired together during the sixteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. And after seven years together, Dianne discussed the possibility of starting a family with Joe as she revealed why she's 'not worried' about taking a break from her career to have children. Speaking in a new interview with Prima, the Australian native said of their romance: 'When Joe and I met, it wasn't until the show ended that we realised we missed each other's company a lot – our relationship went from there. We always got on, he was so funny to me, and I loved how creative he was.' On starting a family, she continued: 'We've always wanted kids, it's just finding the right time. I don't feel worried about taking time out from dancing, I just don't see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I'm quite spiritual.' The professional dancer went on to reveal what it's like having a relationship in the public eye. She noted: 'Joe and I forget we're famous sometimes – when we're out and about, we'll be like, "Why are they looking at us? Ah, okay, I remember." It doesn't feel that difficult to have a relationship in the public eye – we're good at not taking notice of things that are written about us.' She added that thing can get 'hard' when it comes to privacy, especially when people are 'obsessed' with finding out personal details about the pair such as their address. It comes after Dianne previously revealed all on her future family plans with her partner Joe amid both their hectic schedules. The flame-haired beauty teased her baby plans in an interview in May as she got involved with a campaign for the children's show Bluey for which she is creating a new dance along YouTube series. She told The Mirror: 'I was always the babysitter for all my little cousins – I've always been a real lover of children. They fascinate me so much.' Speaking of her new series of Bluey Dance alongs she added: 'I always think that in the future, if I was to have my own kids, that they would be able to potentially watch this. 'It plays at the back of my mind and that's pretty cool.' Meanwhile, earlier that month she revealed she's desperate to have children - but admitted the gruelling demands of her showbiz career are delaying her dreams of becoming a mum. The star, who lifted the Glitterball Trophy last year, revealed that time spent with her nieces and nephews over Christmas triggered serious baby fever. The September 2025 issue of Prima is now on sale Dianne told The Sun: 'I would like to have children, 100 per cent. 'Joe and I love kids, and that's definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven't really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen.' The couple, who live in a £3.5million home in Brighton, have been flooded with baby chat recently, but say their hectic schedules are the biggest hurdle. At the time, Dianne was preparing to hit the road for a 30-date UK tour with fellow Strictly dancer Vito Coppola, while also promoting a new podcast with 2023 partner Chris McCausland. The pro dancer admitted juggling motherhood and a performance career would be 'a challenge' but insisted it's something both she and Joe are excited about. She said: 'My job is quite demanding and I love it so much. 'It is a tough one to balance out and think about. It would take a lot of thought, but eventually one day we'll get there, but there is lots happening at the moment. It will happen when it's supposed to.'

Lionel Messi spotted wearing '$2m' watch on Inter Miami sidelines... and there's only 10 of them in the world!

Though he wasn't able to play in Inter Miami's most recent match, Lionel Messi still caught attention as he stepped out in a luxury Rolex watch reportedly worth $2m. The former Barcelona and PSG star was suspended for Miami's clash against FC Cincinatti - along with defender Jordi Alba - after missing the MLS All-Star game. The MLS later announced their one-match ban for the Miami duo, who were then forced to watch from the sidelines as the side was held to a 0-0 draw on Saturday. However, eagled-eyed fans noted that Messi wore an incredibly rare - and expensive - luxury watch as he sat in the dugout at the Chase Stadium. Messi stepped out in the Rolex Daytona 'Barbie' for the game and, though there is no official price tag, valuations have ranged from $800,000 to $2million. Watch aficionados have also noted that there are just 10 of them in the world that exist, which makes the time piece an even more lucrative asset. The Daytona has become one of Rolex's most iconic and legendary chronograph's and the 'Barbie' variant is one that is seldom seen in public. Actor Mark Wahlberg has previously been spotted wearing the model at the start of the year, in one of the first sightings of the rare Rolex variant. Despite owning one of the rarest watches in the world, Messi is evidently not keen to overuse it and was not spotted with the time piece whilst at a recent Coldplay concert. Messi and his wife Antonella were seen in attendance at the gig in Miami on Sunday night, where they were shown on the venue's 'kiss cam'. Messi, 38, was seen attending the show at the Hard Rock Stadium with his wife and children on the final night of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour in the United States. At one point in the concert, he and Antonella were spotted on the band's 'kiss cam' as they waved while smiling to the crowd. The couple avoided becoming embroiled in a controversial incident, unlike Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, who were caught with their arms around one another - before trying to avoid the camera on July 15 - in an incident that since went viral. Messi, meanwhile, was left 'extremely upset' by his recent one match ban, according to Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas. Messi, 38, was also seen attending the show at the Hard Rock Stadium with his wife and children on the final night of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour in the United States 'The reaction was exactly as expected out of two competitive players who don't understand the decision, who don't understand why not attending an exhibition leads directly to a suspension,' he said. 'The rule is what it is, but they don't understand it. I think that the punishment for the role is frankly draconian. 'I'm hopeful that it doesn't have an impact long-term. Will it have an impact initially, in the players' perception of how the league rules work? Absolutely no doubt.'

‘Childish' Gwynnie's ‘chaotic… toxic' workplace: Goop has lost 140 staff in two years, new bio claims

Gwyneth Paltrow ran a workplace that was allegedly 'chaotic and sometimes toxic,' resulting in mass resignations in recent years, a new book has claimed. The Oscar-winning actor's Goop healthcare and wellness brand has reportedly suffered from an inability to be sustainably profitable, with executives struggling to navigate Paltrow's 'impatience and perfectionism.' The claims come as part of a new biography by Amy Odell, who also penned the 2021 biography Anna, about the life of Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. In Gwyneth, which was released Tuesday, Odell describes how those that worked at Goop 'seemed cagier than many of Wintour's former employees,' noting that 'many had signed NDAs.' 'The company she founded in 2008 hasn't experienced sustained profitability, has allegedly suffered from a chaotic and sometimes toxic office culture, and has lacked a clear business strategy as it ping-pongs from one of Gwyneth's ideas to the next,' Odell writes, in an excerpt from the book. 'As the main narrator of her own public story, Gwyneth has masterfully shaped our perception of her. She knows all her best angles.' The star of Shakespeare in Love, Sliding Doors and The Talented Mr Ripley – who took a break from Hollywood in 2027 to launch her brand – is also portrayed as somewhat ignorant of the machinations of a business and was described as 'erratic' and 'childish' in the way she dealt with employees, according to the book. Within the past two years, Odell states, Goop lost at least 140 employees, including its chief financial officer, chief technology officer, chief revenue officer, general counsel and chief content officer 'Many were terrified to talk about Gwyneth,' Odell writes. 'Some people I interviewed had seen her take action against people she felt had crossed her. 'Gwyneth has had a habit throughout her life of bringing people close to her, then cooling on them. Some simply move on, while others become dismayed and desperate to get back into her inner circle.' The Independent has reached out to Paltrow and Goop about the claims made in Gwyneth via the company. According to further excerpts of Gwyneth, seen by The Times, the actress was reportedly childish, or even outright rude, to other high-profile individuals she had in her life. After breaking up with Brad Pitt in 1997, she reportedly told an interviewer that she had to explain the difference between separate types of caviar, and described him as being 'dumber than a sack of shit.' The Times reports that, per the book, Paltrow also gossiped about another former fling, Ben Affleck, as well as distancing herself from long-time friend Madonna because her ex-husband Chris Martin had reportedly taken a dislike to her. Paltrow recently harked back to the time when she and Martin were together, prior to their 'conscious uncoupling' in 2014, after appearing in a commercial for software company Astronomer. It came after Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught being intimate with his head of HR Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert – and was called out by frontman Martin live at the show.
