The singer took to his social media platforms to share his thoughts on the incident. He shared that "It's been a long time since I've had the chance to greet you through a performance. A lot has happened, but as an artist who loves music and as someone who has matured a little more, I am returning to my place."
He also said that "Thanks to the love and support of those precious people around me, I was able to gather the courage to sing again. I'll be showcasing my latest song, '
On the Edge of the Night
', and a new track soon at this performance, so I hope you're looking forward to it."
He has served one year in jail along with 2 months of probation since he was sentenced in 2022 for using the alleged drug in his home alongside his girlfriend at the time, Seo Eun Woo (formerly Seo Min Jae).
